Former WWE Diva Barred from Night Club

This is embarrassing.

Former WWE Diva/Playboy model/actress/Hollywood wanna-be, Chyna (now known as "Chyna Doll"), was turned away from celebrity hang out, Hyde, over the weekend.

Chyna is Denied

After leaving Shag, another club in Tinseltown, the ex-wrestler arrived with with porn star Mary Carey (naturally) and their entourage, expecting to waltz right in. The group had no reservation, however, and was quickly denied admittance.

Stuck behind the velvet rope, Chyna even tried to recruit American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry (pictured) for help, but received the following response: Wish I could help you, sorry."

Ouch. We don't know about anyone else, but a Daughtry/Chyna feud in the WWE would be money!

WWE Spoiler: Who Will Leave RAW Next Week?

It was announced on WWE RAW last night that Umaga and Kane would do battle next week with one big stipulation: the loser will leave the brand.

Sources have been reporting that Kane has been asking for time off for awhile now and this match will be used as an excuse to grant such sabbatical to the veteran.

It's safe to assume he'll end up on Smackdown upon his return, considering the fact that Kane has feuded with everyone on the RAW roster ... including himself, in one of the worst story lines of the year.

WWE News/Notes: RAW Theme, Smackdown Rating

John Cena holding on to his belt last night wasn't the only news out of WWE RAW.

According to a recent press release, Papa Roach announced that their new single “….To Be Loved” will become the new weekly theme song for the show. Drummer Dave Bucker said:

"We're stoked that the WWE liked this track enough to use it every week ... WWE fans are passionate and I think our song is going to fit perfectly with them."

In other news, last week's edition of SmackDown earned a 2.5 final cable rating with a 4.0 share.

Steel Cage Chaos: WWE RAW Results, 10-2-06

The following report is courtesy of wrestleview.com ...

DX’s music hit and Triple H and Shawn Michaels came out to the ring. Triple H shushed the crowd momentarily. He said he was serious, he had a question that needed answering. He asked the fans “are you ready”? He said a picture was worth a thousand words and showed a picture of Mr. McMahon’s head stuffed in Big Show’s backside. They did the “suck it” routine before HBK took the mic and was interrupted by Coach.

He ordered both of them to compete right here, right now in a Texas Tornado match against six other opponents. Cade & Murdoch were one team, The Highlanders were another, and the last was Viscera and Charlie Haas.

Texas Tornado Tag Match: DX v. Cade & Murdoch v. The Highlanders v. Charlie Haas & Viscera
- Visc and Haas double-teamed Triple H, missing a coordinated splash attempt. Cade turned Rory inside out with a big stiff lariat. Eventually, DX and Viscera ended up alone in the ring. DX hit a nice double DDT before t-ing up Charlie Haas with a big spine buster and an HBK elbow. Michaels hit sweet chin music and as Haas bobbled back, Triple H hit the boot to the gut and the pedigree for the win.
Winners: DX via pin fall

HBK Flies

Coach came out and told the folks to stop the music. He said he ran the show and he ran Monday night. Triple H asked if he could throw his ass off the ramp and then he and Michaels would run the show. DX chased Coach to the back as we went to commercial.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Johnny Nitro v. Jeff Hardy
- Nitro started off with a kick to the gut and a hard uppercut to the face of Hardy. Nitro kicked Hardy off his feet before whipping him into the ropes and getting caught with a neck breaker. Hardy hit a leg drop to the groin before following up with a hurricanranna out of the corner.

The action went back and forth when Nitro scooted out to the ring apron, but Hardy caught him and tossed him back in the ring. He springboarded off the top rope and got a unique roll up that got a two count. Hardy connected next with a whisper in the wind which got him an even closer two count.

Nitro split to the outside and as Melina tended to him, Hardy came off the top rope and planted Nitro into the mat. Hardy quickly pressed his advantage, looking to hit his red cross off the guardrail, but Nitro avoided it.

They both ended up on the top rope. Nitro attempted a flip power bomb, but Hardy threw him off. The challenger immediately took advantage hitting the Swanton bomb on Nitro and gaining the pinfall for the victory and the Intercontinental Championship.
Winner and NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion: Jeff Hardy

Coach was on the phone with Vince McMahon. He said there wasn’t any way he could possibly run WWE RAW like him and that he couldn’t even get out of his locker room. Coach said something then hung up before peaking outside to see if the coast was clear. He crept around the back cautiously before stopping and staring with eyes wide open at Triple H who was there with his arms crossed. He turned the other way and saw HBK staring at him smiling. They played some cheesy okay coral music before sprinting into the women’s locker room. DX decided to go in and asked where Coach went. Triple H tried to talk to the WWE Divas, but Shawn tracked him down and made him come along.

TNA President Comments on Kurt Angle, Bill Goldberg

We never thought we'd write about TNA wrestling so much. Then, the company went out and signed Kurt Angle.

Here's what president, Dixie Carter, had to say about that and other happenings in the brand:

Angle in TNA On reaction to negative feedback to Kurt Angle coming to TNA:
"Am I shocked by some of the negative response? I’m more saddened by it – for Kurt. I know this has hurt him very much. TNA would never sign a talent, or allow a talent to be in a situation to harm themselves more than the risk each of these guys takes every time they step into the ring.

I truly believe that every TNA wrestler, referee, broadcaster and front-office employee knows that their health and their family come first. TNA is their livelihood, and they are all very passionate about it, but it is still just a job."

On Kurt Angle's current medical condition:
"I have personally met with Kurt and his wife. All past medical and pain medication issues have been addressed in depth and to my satisfaction. We have assembled a team of doctors around Kurt to monitor past injuries and also oversee his health on an ongoing basis."

On TNA wrestling's drug policy:
"TNA Wrestling has a very strict drug and alcohol policy, and each contracted talent signs an acknowledgement of the policy set forth. Drug use and alcohol abuse are issues we take very seriously. TNA has the right to conduct random drug-tests and other tests in accordance with government requirements. Violations of the policy are spelled out and failure to comply or failure of a test can result in mandatory drug counseling and treatment, suspension from work without pay, up to and including dismissal."

Ever in TNA?

If Kurt Angle's signing to TNA helped iMPACT! move to primetime on Spike TV:
"The deal to move to prime-time on SpikeTV was done prior to signing Kurt. One thing I think is so great about Kurt is that he wanted to be a part of TNA without even knowing that the company was moving to prime-time. He wanted to make that leap because he knew the potential was there and he wanted to be part of making it happen. That’s how much he wants to be a part of TNA."

On the possibility of Bill Goldberg coming to TNA:
"Bill has a lot of exciting things going on in his career right now. TNA would be the perfect place for him to continue those pursuits while stepping back in the ring to write one last chapter of a storied wrestling career. Bill is very talented and he would be another great addition to our roster."

WWE News: Tazz and Jim Ross Contracts to Expire

Could we be seeing a couple WWE announcing shake-ups?

Tazz

The contract of Tazz expires at the end of this year. And while the ECW veteran is currently in the renegotiation process, he also tried out for a satellite radio job as a possible fallback.

A few insiders feel this was simply a negotiating ploy, but also warn Tazz better be careful. Said one WWE source:

"Tazz needs to be smarter about it. He's working two days a week earning six figures. He's not going to get a better offer than that in radio."

Meanwhile, Jim Ross' contract with WWE expires next month. There's little chance that this mainstay will head anywhere else, however.

WWE Divas Attend Trish Stratus Wedding

Congratulations are in order for Trish Stratus.

Soon after retiring from the WWE at Unforgiven, the wrestler married her high school sweet heart, Ron, over the weekend. A handful of divas attended the ceremony, including: Torrie Wilson, Lita, Maria, Lilian Garcia, Ashley Massaro, Ivory, and Victoria.

The couple is now off to honeymoon in Greece and we do wish the pair the best - but if you ever get divorced, Trish, we hope you consider a return to the WWE.

WWE RAW Invades Smackdown: Smackdown Results, 9-29-06

The following results are courtesy of lordsofpain.net ...

Opening Segment shows what happened with the "Royal Court" attacking Cena on WWE RAW. Immediatly Cena's music hits (no opening pyro!) and he comes out to 99.9% cheers. Cena talks about how tonight he has backup in the form of Lashley and Batista and will kick Booker's ass.

Match 1: Rey Mysterio vs Elijah Burke
- Sylvester Terkay was ringside the entire match. Pretty good match with Mysterio hitting the 619 and a huracanrana for the win. After the match Turkay stares down Mysterio and then destroys him. Mysterio wins.

Match 2: Pitbulls vs Idol & Stevens for Tag Team Title shot at No Mercy
- Basically, it was a brawl, with the Pitbulls working their new "stiff" style. Pitbulls get the win and will face London and Kendrick at No Mercy.

Next was a segment with Ken Kennedy in the ring with memorial wreaths. He says Undertaker's legacy is unmatched and basically said he respects the Taker. Taker comes out to his wicked entrance and stares down Kennedy.

Undertaker Emerges

Kennedy's mic sparks like it electricuted him thanks to Takers "magic." Kennedy cowers outside the ring for a while, then goes back in to get knocked back out by Taker. Taker posed in the ring with his purple light.

Match 3: The Miz vs Tatanka
- Tatanka was way over, seeing as how we are in Oklahoma. Eventually Miz cheats to win. Tatanka agrues with ref and looks like he's gonna clock him by the entrance set.

Match 4: Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero
- With the referee distracted by the appearance of Shane Helms and his attention elsewhere, Hardy is dealt a low blow by Vickie who crawls into the ring. Chavo delivers a DDT onto Hardy and from the top rope delivers the frog splash and covers Hardy for the win! Chavo Guerrero defeated Matt Hardy in 4 minutes.

Match 5: Sylvan vs Jimmy Wang Yang
Good match. Jimmy Yang was incredibly over with the crowd. Some funny moments when the crowd was chanting USA for Yang. Yang hit some great high risk moves, but Sylvan ends up winning out of no where.

Match 6: Lashley/Batista/Cena vs King Booker/Finlay/Regal
Great main event. Batista's pyro is insanely loud! The crowd was nuts the entire match. Not a person sat down. Cena had is arm all taped up (selling the RAW attack) and was isolated for most of the match. He eventually gets the hot tag and Lashley spears Booker for the 1-2-3. The place explodes. Cena's posing in the ring and Edge appears out of nowhere and lays out Cena. Edge then left through the crowd.

TNA News: Length of Kurt Angle and Team 3D Contracs

We have more news from TNA on the contract of Kurt Angle and Team 3D:
Team 3D

The contract is exclusive and Angle will NOT be doing MMA. While the length of Angle's contract isn't known, it is believed that any move to MMA was just a hoax. It was planted to prevent anyone from thinking he was going to TNA.

Meanwhile, Team 3D came to terms on a new one-year deal with TNA recently. The deal has an option for a second year. According to reports, both members were overheard telling people at the TNA TV tapings on Monday that TNA is the best place for them right now, considering the state of the business.
