Six days away from WWE Judgment Day, here's what went down on WWE RAW...

William Regal is in the ring. Lillian Garcia is there and sings "God Save The Queen!" Regal disapproves of the fans' disrespect. He's General Manager and King and could have them thrown out if he wants. He's not bluffing. He picks on a random couple and has them thrown out. Mickie James says that was her brother and his girlfriend. Regal threatens to throw Mickie out, too. She pleads her case and he threatens to strip her of her title belt.

John Cena is in the house! He sends Mickie to the back and gets a mic. He's back and is usually ready to raise some hell but he wants to talk to Regal man-to-man. He knows what it's like to give your soul to these people and have them tell you "you suck." Cena reads out complaints from fans. "This is WCW Thunder bad." "I'm going to start a chant in every arena in the country saying "Fire Regal clap clap clap, fire Regal clap clap clap."" Glorious.

Regal says he won't turn out the lights tonight. He knows Cena wants revenge on Randy Orton, so the main event is Orton vs. Cena. Regal says if anyone gets involved in the match, they will be suspended. Regal hopes he's earned some respect.

Chris Jericho is here. He shows us footage of Michaels injuring his knee at Backlash against Batista. Jericho says he didn't buy it because he saw the look in Shawn's eyes at Backlash and has been telling everyone who will listen that Shawn's a fake. But last week, something happened that changed his mind. We see footage of last week's tag match. This time, he saw the pain on Shawn's face when he kicked John Morrison. He was wrong. He wants to tell Shawn he's sorry. Jericho would understand if Shawn wanted to call off their match at Judgment Day and says he should because Jericho doesn't want to face Shawn with a bad wheel.

Kurt Angle Injury Update

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Kurt Angle is expected to be out for a month as a result of his neck injury.

The original plan was for Angle to face AJ Styles at Slammiversary, which takes place on June 8. It remains to be seen if Angle will be cleared to return to the ring by that point. Tonight and tomorrow night's tapings for Impact should give an indication in regards to which direction TNA Wrestling is going in.

WWE RAW Preview: Countdown to Judgment Day

Here's the official WWE RAW preview, courtesy of WWE.com

Judgment Day will be only six days away when Raw returns from north of the border this Monday night, and the Raw Superstars will have one last chance to gain momentum inside Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena.

One individual making his way to the Motor City for Raw is John Cena. Following last week’s announcement that the Chain Gang Soldier will clash with JBL at Judgment Day, Cena may be on hand to mix some pre-match words (or fists) with the self-proclaimed “wrestling god.”

Detroit may be Hockeytown, U.S.A., but this Monday, it could become Blackoutville. For two consecutive weeks, General Manager William Regal has pulled the plug; first, he took Raw off the air two weeks ago in the middle of a Triple H vs. Randy Orton WWE Title Match, and last week, he turned the lights out as Orton battled CM Punk in Toronto.

WWE Rumors: John Cena, CM Punk to Turn Heel

Here's a WWE rumor we'd LOVE to see become a reality:

Look for John Cena and CM Punk to form a heel faction in the near future, consisting of Cena returning to his Rapper Gimmick, and for CM Punk to become ‘MC’ Punk.

This is the exact jolt the WWE needs in its story lines. Will it actually take place? Our best guess is no, simply because these wrestlers combine to sell so much merchandise.

But do you agree it would add a level of excitement throughout the summer?

Cena the Rapper

Torrie Wilson Speaks on WWE Release

One of our favorite WWE Divas of all-time got released last week. Here's what Torrie Wilson had to say about it on her MySpace blog:

Well, I guess by now you have heard the news that I have severed my ties to the WWE. I would like to say that I have enjoyed 7 awesome years with The WWE and wouldn't trade any of my experiences for anything in the world. I have seen more places and met more friends and wonderful fans than I ever dreamed of when I pretty much fell into this business.

Our Favorite Diva

Will you miss Torrie Wilson in a WWE ring?

From the very first time I stepped out into a packed arena, I was hooked on that adrenaline rush and knew that I would be around for a while.

I really did fall in love with everything about wrestling and I can tell you all that I feel so absolutely honored to have spent the time I did working for Vince McMahon and his family and having the opportunity to work with so many really talented and genuine superstars.

An Interview with Edge

Smackdown superstar and former WWE champion Edge spoke with The Daily Gleaner recently. Here's an excerpt of the interview:

You're usually in the headlining match these days. What does it feel like walking out to the ring for the main event?
It's great because I feel completely confident in going out there last ... It feels really good to know that however many thousand people that are there (have) paid good money to boo you. They want to see you get beat tonight.

That's the case about 99 per cent of the time, but we'll have to see at these shows. It always seems like Canada is one big hometown for me. Whether it's Fredericton or whether it's Victoria, they like to take me on as their own.
