Reply to PostAfter Edge pleaded to Teddy Long to give him the night off, Long told him that he would have a special guest on the cutting Edge. That special guest was Kane. After listing some of Kane's accomplishments he went on bragging about himself and Kane didnt like that. Kane knocked him out of the ring in a heartbeat. Edge then declared that Kane would never get to fight him i nthe ring for what he just did. Seconds later Teddy Long came out and announced that it would be Edge Vs. Kane for the Smackdown Championship. Will Kane be able to get a breakthrough and win the title off of Edge, after Batista could unsuccesfully do so? What are your thoughts?

I seriously want The big red Monster to regain the World heavyweight title again. I think this is a smart decision for business if Kane wins so that when the Undertaker returns by survivor Series, the two should face in a Brother v. Brother match. I think Kane is gonna destroy Edge. I mean, honestly, WWE is getting all of it's ratings from WWE Raw. Smackdown and ECW are really lagging on entertainment. If Kane wins, Smackdown ratings will rise tremendously. I'm with the big Red Monster.

Yeah I think Edge retains but there could be a rematch at Summerslam and the belt may switch hands to Kane

Dude, honestly, no one likes Smackdown! as much as RAW. That's just the truth. If Kane wins the title, that'll bring Smackdown! to a whole new style with Kane leading the show. This will bring up more challengers and more exciting storylines. In my opinion, Edge got soft since he went to Smackdown! Back in RAW, Edge had dozens of unforgettable matches including his TLC mach with John Cena, his tag team match against DX, and his grudge match between his former partner Randy Orton .

This is just a theory, but I think Edge will retain the title and later at Summerslam their will be a triple threat with Kane vs. Edge vs. Batista or Ric Flair. Either way I think Edge might lose the title sometime this summer. Also rumors about Steve-0 competing in a match at Summerslam?

With edge out, why not give the belt to Kane for an extended run? I assume great khali will just lost to Batista on sunday... but it's embarrassing to ever say he was champ for any amount of time...

Kane is definatly overdue for a second title run, but am I the only one who remembers the worlds strongest man Mark Henry? He's beaten the tar out of Kane and Batista in the past. If Teddy long knew what he was doing, he would have put Mark Henry against Edge from the get go.
