Reply to PostLooks like living the straight edge lifestyle has finally paid off for C.M. Punk. The recent suspension of several superstars who were connected to online steriod distributors has allowed this talented superstar the window he needed to obtain his overdue ECW championship reign. Is this the start a new era of wholesome superstars being pushed ahead of others, or is it just a coincidence where C.M. Punk just happend to be next in line for the title?

Yeah, I'm glad that CM Punk won his long overdue ECW championship. I think hes the best fit for the title right now and I think he will be more interesting then John Morrison. He could be holding onto the title for a couple months now or at least till Morrison gets back.

Those matches where Morrison won by cheap ensiguris were getting old. That's great Punk won the title.

Not the best start to his championship reign though, his first night on ECW as champ was pretty lackluster. He needs better talent to go up against. Burke is o.k. but they already fueded long enough for us to know who the better wrestler is.
Punk needs to either leave ECW or demand that the WWE bring in better talent for him to face. You would never see a young HBK or Ric Flair put up with this kind of treatment, even if they were champions at the time like Punk is. That seems to be a problem that alot of up and commers seem to have these days; they don't have enough spine to demand quality.
