Reply to PostECW in my opinion is going no where with Johnn Nitro as ECW champion. He was just average talent on RAW and now he's the top guy on ECW. I think a ECW original should have the belt or at least a top guy. Also on July 11th ECW in Matt Strikers class Boogeyman was in class and he was attacked by "BIg Daddy V". In case anyone was wondering who that was or he looked like. Im almost positive that that was Vicera but not 100% sure. Anyways what are ur thoughts as Johnny Nitro ECW champion?

Your right, man. That actually was Viscera, but he was taking up a new name in his ECW debut. I personally think Tommy Dreamer should be champion after that Extreme Rules Match last night. He totally deserved it. Nitro won by a fluke. I honestly don't think that Nitro has any pure hardcore wrestling talent. I'll leave the extreme rules matches to the ECW originals if I were him. Where are the other ECW originals anyway? Dreamer is the only one left...

People have to let go of the idea of ECW as "harcore." It's just another WWE brand at this point and it's used just to push new talent... but it'll never work unless proven guys are at the top. So i agree. Nitro is too young to be champ for now... they need to bring over some veteran to hold the belt. Maybe even mysterio? he would get people watching, don't you agree?

Of course. The 619 will bring the ratings higher than Smackdown! But I think your right: ECW is only a training brand for youngsters like Elijah Burke, CM Punk, and Nitro. They might eventually draft Tommy Dreamer to one of the other brands like what they did to the Sandman. If Mysterio returned, I think a lot of other high profile superstars would join ECW too.

High profile superstars are exactly what ECW doesn't need. What they need is to bring back the E in ECW by having the show center around more hardcore talent rather than body builders like Burk and Nitro. When you think of how many high profile stars like RVD, Rey, Eddie Gurreuro, Chris Benoit, Chrish Jericho. These guys were all to small or too ugly to be contenders in the WWF. I like the idea of using ECW as a proving ground, but trying to pass of midcard matches as main event status with half-hearted wrestling is just pathetic. They need young guys with heart and passion who need a chance to prove themselves not midcard wrestlers looking for good PR.

It is certainly more original, I hate when superstars try to be clever with thier titles and finishing moves. Like nobody's gonna notice that he ripped of Jim Morrisons' name and look. And if people are suppose to notice, why do it? It is just out of place and couses uneccessary confusion. These sort of things also limit what a superstar can do with thier charecter. Hopefully he will change his name back to Nitro once he has finished whatever he is planning to accomplish with this charector change.
