We wish all these wrestlers the best of luck. No word yet on if TNA Wrestling is interested in any of them.
The decision to move the Great Khali from ECW to RAW was made in the last twenty-four hours, following Triple H's injury. The WWE felt it was necessary to fill the void that Triple H has left.
As we previously reported, the original plan for Khali was to challenge Lashley for the ECW World Title at WrestleMania 23. Khali is scheduled to make a final appearance on ECW tonight, wrestling Tommy Dreamer and ending that feud.
The revamped Gene Snitsky is expected to debut for ECW soon; he may be the one who fills the role that Khali leaves behind. As for Daivari, it remains unknown whether or not he will stay with ECW.
WWE issued the following press release yesterday:
WWE Rings in New Year with Sell-Outs
WWE is off to a great start for 2007 with two major pay per views selling out. Tickets for the Royal Rumble on January 28 in San Antonio sold out last week.
Tickets for WWEâs 20th annual SummerSlam live event pay-per-view sold out in just 40 minutes the Saturday before New Year's Day. The event emanates from the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, N.J., on Aug. 26, 2007.
The sell out came on the heels of a sold out non-televised RAW event on Dec. 28 at Continental Airlines Arena witnessed by more than 20,000 screaming fans.
The first Monday Night RAW of 2007 drew a sell-out crowd of more than 13,600 at Miamiâs American Airlines Arena where WWE Champion John Cena took on Kevin Federline to kick-off the New Year.
