Torrie Wilson: Done Wrestling?

Sad news for those that were looking forward to the next WWE Diva lingerie match involving Torrie Wilson:

Back surgeons have told the knockout never to set foot in a wrestling ring again. Here's what Wilson wrote on her MySpace blog this week:

"I have been told by 2 back surgeons that I should never set foot in a wrestling ring again if I want to be moving around in a few years on my own. Pretty depressing if you ask me."

Lost in Thought

We may have seen the last of Torrie Wilson inside a WWE ring.

She continued:

"My health is doing ok as far as back problems. I must say there are days that I wake up and ask myself why the heck I put my body through what I did the last few years but it's all worth it. I can never trade all of the awesome experiences that I have had in the WWE and of course all of the great life long friends that I have made along the way."

WWE Rumors: A Triple H Heel Turn, Title Run

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, head SmackDown! writer Michael Hayes wants to move Triple H over to the SmackDown! brand. Hayes wants Triple H to work as a heel in a main event program against The Undertaker.

As you might expect, not many within WWE that expect Triple H to make the jump. There is still a stigma that SmackDown! is the "B" brand and Triple H has been against moving to Smackdown! in the past. He wants to dominate on RAW, though he is not opposed to turning heel and definitely wants a run with the title.

The Wrestling Post Take: We've been saying this for months: Turn John Cena heel instead! A lot of the crowd already boos him. When Cena returns full-time after filming his latest movie, have him cut a promo, dissing fans for a lack of support. We can see it now: "If you wanna boo me, I'll give you reasons to boo me!"

A Cena/Triple H feud, with Cena as the heel, would be a major ratings grabber throughout the summer. What do you think of it?

Big Daddy V Told to Lose Weight

We've been told that WWE has sent Big Daddy V home to lose some weight. We didn't think we'd seen him on TV in awhile... and the guy is hard to miss!

The company is worried about the rotund wrestler's health. He was not in Orlando for WrestleMania weekend, despite being originally booked to play a major part in the WrestleMania battle royal. Reportedly, Big Daddy was going to begin a program with Kane following the PPV.

WWE Rumors: Problems with Mayweather/Big Show Match

Many fans have been wondering how the Floyd Mayweather/Big Show match will go down tonight. Will it be boxing? Wrestling? A combination of both?

Now that the company has announced an "anything goes" stipulation to the bout, many WWE officials are not optimistic about how it will turn out.

The Big Show vs. Floyd Mayweather

Despite the fact that he's been training hard for the match, Mayweather has been reportedly slow to pick up many of the basics of pro wrestling.

Triple H has been assigned the task of trying to save the match from being a disaster. He's been working closely with Mayweather and Big Show over the past few days. Expect the match to be heavily scripted.

WWE Rumors, Story Lines Surrounding Chris Jericho

Here are a couple tidbits about Chris Jericho and is changing of recent feuds:

The working plan was for Jericho to engage in a long program with Jeff Hardy. However, due to Hardy's suspension, that's obviously off the table now. It's unclear who Y2J will go up against next.

Also, the Jericho vs. JBL feud was originally programmed to go longer, but the feud wasn't clicking. Stylistically, JBL works better with Finlay and Jericho works better with Hardy.

WWE Rumors: Lashley Left Over Pay

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a source has said Bobby Lashley's discontention with WWE had to do with his payoff from WrestleMania 23.

The star received $250,000 for his efforts in his heavily-hyped match with Umaga. But Lashley was said to be furious with this payoff, considering he was the winner of the biggest-drawing match in WrestleMania history.

Moreover, even though he was injured for nearly half the year, several sources have indicated that Lashley earned somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 million in 2007. Without being much of a merchandise draw, this seems like a hefty amount for the superstar.

Would he really complain about making seven figures?!?
