WWE Rumors: Everyone Hates Triple H

Triple H is rumored to be the most disliked person in WWE right now. How come?

For starters, a number of people were upset that he didn't put over Ric Flair last week in what will likely be his final match in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Triple H has always had heat, but it really picked up over the summer when he essentially squashed Booker T at SummerSlam. A large number of people within the company believe the ordeal with Triple H is the reason why Booker T left.

Furthermore, Triple H also buried Chris Jericho before he had even arrived.

In a sarcastic manner, Triple H was going around to anyone who would listen saying that the company may have had some rough stretches in the past, but they were going to be fine again because "their savior" was coming back. The feeling in the locker room was that he was especially vindictive about Jericho because his wife Stephanie was a big proponent of bringing him back.

Rob Van Dam Discusses Relationship with Triple H

The UK's Power Slam magazine recently interviewed Rob Van Dam. Here's what the former ECW and WWE star had to say regarding his relationship with Triple H:

Is it true you had problems with Triple H when you worked for WWE?
Problems? I had problems liking him. I had problems feeling compatible with him on any other level other than the fact that we're both wrestlers. He would be one of the last guys you would see sharing a car with me. If we weren't both wrestlers, I doubt I'd have anything in common with him.

Triple H Comments on Young Wrestlers; Return Date Announced

His Best Friend In the latest issue of WWE Magazine, Triple H talks about the next generation of hopeful superstars:

"I see a million guys who think, 'I'm the best of the new guys.' Well, that's not saying much. Do you want to the best of the news guys or the best guy here? They sit back and they're waiting for somebody to make them a star. Nobody makes you a star. You make yourself a star. When the fans are going crazy for you whether positively or negatively then you have something to promote. No one made Triple H. I did. The problem is a lack of patience. Early on in my career, I was very impatient and wanted to be more than I was ready to be.

But as time went on, I was glad I didn't get it so early, because I wasn't ready. Now guys come in the door and half of them don' have a clue. I see guys on TV, against the likes of Ric Flair and they simply can't capitalize in that. It you can't capitalize on working with one of the biggest stars ever in the history of this business, you're not doing something right. You need to evaluate what you're doing and stop blaming everyone else."

Meanwhile, PWInsider is reporting that he is expected to make his return at the August 13 Monday Night Raw taping at Madison Square Garden.

Triple HOn not being apart of WrestleMania this year:
"It’s our biggest showcase of the year. It will be fun to be there, and hear 70,000 WWE fans yelling for their favorite Superstars. It will be tough not being able to get in that ring, but I am still going to enjoy the environment."

On Shawn Michaels' shot at the WWE Title:

"This is as motivated as I’ve ever seen Shawn. The opportunity to wrestle for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania has been like a new shot of life for HBK. It’s great to see him feel this way, and be this passionate. This is what Shawn is all about."

On The Undertaker at WrestleMania:
"The Undertaker is a guy that you just can’t prepare for. He never stops. He’ll keep coming at you until you have nothing left. There is a reason he is called the Phenom, and there’s a reason he’s never lost at WrestleMania."

Triple H Triple H told WWE.com that his recovery from quadriceps surgery is one month ahead of schedule.

“My rehab is going great so far, I’m actually about a month ahead of schedule,” HHH said to WWE's official website. “I’m on crutches and have a brace that keeps my leg locked out, but my range is already up to where it should be about a month from now, and my quad is starting to fire a little bit. Before the injury, Triple H was on track to meet John Cena in the main event of Wrestlemania 23.

Triple H Injury: The Latest

The reason that Triple H is telling people he'll be able to return to the ring is six months - instead of the originally projected eight or nine - from his second torn quadriceps is that Dr. James Andrews has told him of the advances in the sutiring material and surgical procedure since he suffered his first quadriceps tear nearly six years ago.

However,, public estimates of Triple H’s return from injury are still 6-8 months, contradicting the initial estimate reported on WWE.com of 5-6 months. This means that SummerSlam is a good target event for the star to return by.
