TNA Victory Road Results, 7-13-08

Here's a rundown of last night's TNA Victory Road pay-per-view...

The Motor City Machine Guns and Curry Man (Team TNA) defeated Doug Williams and Alex Kozlov and Tyson Dux (Team International) and Milano Collection A.T. and Masato Yoshino and Puma (Team Japan) and Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Bucanero and Averno (Team Mexico) in a World X Cup elimination match. Yoshino forced Kozlov to tap at 20:30, leaving Yoshino and Shelley as the last two entrants. After a series of nearfalls, Shelly pinned Yoshino.

Gail Kim pinned Angelina Love (w/Velvet Sky). Sky got involved early by breaking up Kim's attempted figure-four around the ringpost. Love's top came undone, but she had a sports bra underneath. Kim scored the clean pin. Sky attacked Kim after the match. The Beautiful People tried to put a brown paper bag over Kim's head, but she rolled out of the ring.

Sonjay Dutt beat Jay Lethal (w/SoCal Val). As Lethal and Dutt battled back inside the ring, Valclimbed onto the ring apron. Lethal ordered her to get back down to ringside. She obeyed. Moments later, Sonjay crawled over and told Val that he loves her. She climbed back onto the ring apron and Lethal walked over to talk to her. Sonjay took advantage of the distraction by rolling up Lethal and using the ropes for leverage while scoring the pin.

LAX (w/Hector Guerrero, Salinas) defeated Robert Roode and James Storm in a fans' revenge match to retain the TNA Tag Titles. At 8:45, Hernandez performed a top rope splash on Roode, but Storm broke up the pin attempt. Still impressive for a man his size. Less than a minute later, Hernandez hoisted Roode onto his shoulders and Hernandez performed a Gringo Cutter off the top rope for the win.

Taylor Wilde pinned Awesome Kong (w/Raisha Saeed) to retain the TNA Knockouts Title. Taylor caught Kong on the ropes and then armdragged her onto the mat. Cool spot and a big bump from Kong. Taylor went for the cover, but Kong kicked out and Taylor overacted as she tried to sell Kong kicking out of the move. A short time later, Kong went for a chokeslam, but Taylor rolled her up and scored the pin.

Volador Jr. defeated Kaz and Daivari and Naruki Doi in an Ultimate X match in the World X Cup Finals. Some insane spots in this one. The craziest came at the end when Daivari was climbing the ropes toward the center of the X. Kaz jumped from the top of the scaffolding and performed a leg drop on Daivari. Amazing spot. With the other wrestlers down, Volador Jr. climbed to the enter and retrieved the X to win the match for his team.

Kurt Angle and Team 3D pinned A.J. Styles and Christian Cage and Rhino in a full metal mayhem match. The ring was litter with tables and ladders when Kurt Angle pushed referee Earl Hebner over one the tables that was lying on its top. Hebner fell to the ground and clutched his ankle. A.J. placed Styles on a table and then started to climb a ladder.

"Enough of this crap," Trigg said. Trigg grab Devine's kendo stick and hit Styles with it. Angle recovered, climbed the ladder, and performed the Olympic Slam off the middle of the ladder and through a table on Styles for the win.

Booker T beat Samoa Joe when his wife made the three count in a TNA Title match. With one ref bumped, Slick Johnson ran out in his silly little shorts. Joe attacked both refs. Security guards ran in and Joe beat them up too. Sharmell entered the ring and pleaded with Booker again. "Somebody help," she pleaded. Booker was out. Joe locked him in a submission hold. Sharmell continued to plead for someone to help. Sting walked to ringside.

Joe looked down at him from the ring. Sting said something to Joe and he walked away and beat up Booker. Joe walked back toward Sting, who told him he made his point and enough was enough. Sting left and Joe slowly followed. Then he turned around and headed back to the ring. Joe attacked Booker again. Sting returned to the ring and got in Joe's face. "You made your point." Joe flipped him off and said, "Fuck you."

Great moment. Joe went back to Booker, but Sting spun him around and jabbed the baseball bat into Joe's gut and then slammed him over the head. Booker recovered and rolled on top of Joe. Sharmell slowly counted to three. West said her count doesn't mean anything.

Sharmell and Booker rolled out of the ring together. Booker took the title from the announcers' table and walked to the back with Sharmell. Sting left the ring and looked back at Joe, who was still lying in the ring. "How the hell can Booker T be TNA Champion," Mike Tenay asked to close out the live broadcast.

Here are the results from last night's TNA Wrestling pay-per-view, Sacrifice...

Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament - Quarterfinal Match #1: Sting & James Storm vs. Team 3D
Devon with a series of elbow drops over Sting and then a big stomp over the chest. Devon with a snapmare into a headlock. They show a shot of Storm sitting on the ring apron and drinking some beer while Devon has a headlock still applied on Sting. Sting fights back with some elbows on Devon, but Devon rakes the eyes and gets a scoop slam. Devon off the top rope with a flying headbutt, cover, but only a two count. Devon with another headbutt attempt, but Sting rolls out of the way. Sting with some right hands on Devon and a Stinger Splash in the corner. Sting launches Ray into Devon, but misses a Stinger Splash. Ray with a scoop slam, Devon goes up to the top rope and connects with the headbutt to the groin. Devon leaves the ring and pulls a table out. 3D sets up the table, but Sting takes them both out with a double-clothesline. Storm talks trash behind 3D as they look at Sting. 3D then shrugs their shoulders and walk away. Sting then grabs Storm, throws him off the top rope and right through the table! Devon covers Storm and gets the pinfall.

- Backstage, Lauren is with Frank Trigg. Trigg talks about Kurt Angle suffering an injury competing overseas. Trigg talked about working with Angle and doing some drills and how Angle just didn't feel right. He said Angle just can't do it tonight because his neck is so bad. Lauren asks his take on Samoa Joe vs. Scott Steiner. Trigg said Joe looked so quick at Lockdown, while Steiner has a really respected background in wrestling. His pick tonight is Samoa Joe and doesn't think Steiner can keep up with him.

Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament - Quarterfinal Match #2: Robert Roode & Booker T vs. Christian Cage & Rhino
Roode with some rights on Cage. Cage fights back with some boots in the corner. Cage is up on the top and takes out Roode with a big tornado DDT! Booker tags himself in when Roode crawls to the corner. Booker with some big chest chops and right hands on Cage in the corner. Booker with a big high back body drop on Cage. Booker with a kick to the gut, attempts an Axe Kick, Cage moves and drops Booker in an inverted DDT. Rhino gets the tag and he levels Booker. Rhino with a charge in the corner on Booker. Booker comes back with a spinning back kick on Rhino. Roode tags himself in when Booker comes off the ropes. Roode yells at Booker that he will take care of this. Rhino clotheslines Booker out of the ring. Roode with a knee to the head on Rhino, kick to the gut, attempts the Payoff, but Rhino levels him with a Gore! Rhino hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.
Winners, advancing in the Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament: Christian Cage & Rhino

After the match, Booker T returns to the ring and shakes the hands of Christian Cage and Rhino. Booker raises their hands and claps for them as the fans in Orlando cheer. Booker T then leaves the ring, grabs a steel chair, returns to the ring and takes out both Cage and Rhino with a steel chair!

Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament - Quarterfinal Match #3: Kip James & Matt Morgan vs. LAX w/ Hector Guerrero
Morgan gets the tag and he goes after Hernandez. Hernandez hits two shoulder blocks on Morgan and Morgan won't go down. He finally takes down Morgan with a flying shoulder block, but Kip takes him out. Morgan goes for a big boot, but takes out Kip instead. Hernandez with a big boot of his own on Kip, covers and gets the pinfall.

Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament - Quarterfinal Match #4: AJ Styles & Super Eric vs. BG James & TNA Women's Champion Awesome Kong
BG applies a headlock, but AJ Styles fights out of it. BG sets up Styles for a series of rights, but Styles hits the Pele Kick out of no where! Super Eric gets the tag and takes out BG with a few clotheslines. Super Eric with a big right, goes up to the top rope and barely connects with a modified swanton bomb. Kong comes in and Super Eric gives her a scoop slam over BG! Super Eric then does a suicide dive through the ropes to take out Kong. Styles attempts a springboard Corkscrew from the top rope, but Styles catches the ropes and hits his face pretty hard botching the finish. BG picks up Styles, but Styles gets in a small package and gets the pinfall.

TerrorDome Match - #1 Contendership for the TNA X Division Title: Curry Man vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Consequences Creed vs. Shark Boy vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Kaz vs. Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin vs. Johnny Devine vs. "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal
The top of the TerrorDome is raised over the cage sides and the bell rings. Everyone begins climbing up the structure on the sides to try and climb out. Curry Man takes out Jimmy Rave with a jawbreaker and big right hand. Referee Rudy Charles is all the way at the top of the cage near the opening. Lots of action and brawling going on in the ring. Kaz with a modified piledriver on Devine. Shark Boy then takes out Kaz and kicks him in the corner. Shelley and Sabin double-team Shark Boy. Sonjay Dutt then takes out Shelley. Shelley fires back dropping Dutt on his face. Lethal goes for the Lethal Combination on Shelley, but Sabin breaks it up and The Machineguns double-team Lethal. Consequences Creed is up top hanging by his legs.

Kaz tries to pull him down, but Kaz takes out Lethal with a leg drop. Creed jumps down and takes out Kaz. Machineguns with a double-kick on Curry Man. Tons of fast action with The Machinguns, Lethal and Dutt. Kaz goes up to the top rope and he is followed up with Rave and Creed. Devine is up and hits a huracanranna on Kaz bringing everyone down in a big tower of doom!

Dutt with a huge flipping inverted DDT on Curry Man. Rave nails Lethal off the side of the steel. Rave with a flipping takedown on Lethal. Dutt is up on the top rope by himself as everyone continues brawling. Curry Man comes up top with Dutt. Dutt lands a few shots on Curry Man. Creed with a huge DDT on Rave. Shelley with a big flipping inverted DDT on Creed. Shark Boy with a Stunner on Shelley. Sabin leaps up and goes after Shark Boy. Shark Boy with a Stunner off the top on Sabin. Kaz then takes out Shark Boy with a facebuster. Huge spot saw Curry Man throw Dutt off the side of the Dome and Dutt took out everyone in the ring! Rave with a big clothesline takedown on Curry Man.

Rave begins climbing up the Dome. Curry Man comes up with Rave and hits the Spice Rack off the side of the Dome into the ring! Kaz comes up with Curry Man, but Curry Man knocks him down. Kaz jumps right back up and hits a reverse Flux Capacitor! Kaz is back up, but Devine is close by. Devine with a modified backcracker on Kaz and then the Devine Intervention on Creed.

Devine climbs up the Dome and gets close to the opening. Kaz gets a hold of him and Devine falls from the top taking everyone out! Kaz is still up, begins climbing towards the opening, a few jump up trying to get him, but they can't and Kaz gets out of the top.
Winner, #1 Contender for the TNA X Division Title & advancing to tonight's Main Event: Kaz

Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament - Semifinal Match #1: Team 3D vs. Christian Cage & Rhino
Cage hits Ray and Rhino with a spinebuster on Ray. Rhino with a flying clothesline off the top on Devon. Johnny Devine appears at ringside with a kendo stick. In the ring, 3D takes out Cage with a modified 3D Drop. Rhino with a double clothesline on Ray and Devon. Devine hands the kendo stick to Ray, while in the ring Rhino takes out Devon with a powerslam. Rhino with a Gore on Devon, cover, but Devine distracts the referee. This allows Ray to level Rhino with the kendo stick, Devon covers and gets the pinfall.
Winners, advancing in the Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament: Team 3D

After the match, Brother Ray grabs the TNA World Tag Team Titles and said they mine as well give them to Team 3D right now as they celebrate.

Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament - Semifinal Match #2: AJ Styles & Super Eric vs. LAX w/ Hector Guerrero
Super Eric with the tag, scoop slam and elbow drop on Hernandez. Super Eric with a cover, but only gets a two count. Styles gets the tag, kicks Hernandez, snapmare takedown and then drops a knee over the head of Hernandez. Cover, but Hernandez kicks out. Styles with a modified camel clutch on Hernandez. Hernandez counters that into an electric chair on Styles. Homicide gets the tag. Super Eric gets the tag as well. Super Eric slides under Homicide, but Homicide hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Super Eric. Hernandez comes in and catapults Super Eric into a clothesline from Homicide. Hernandez holds Super Eric up in a vertical suplex. Homicide then applies an STF on Styles. Hernandez drops Super Eric, Homicide covers, but only gets a two count.

Styles gets the tag, attempts a Styles Clash, but Homicide counters into a Gringo Stunner. Gringo Killer attempt, but Super Eric breaks it up. Hernandez takes Super Eric out over the top rope. Styles with a small package on Homicide, Salinas distracts the referee, Hector Guerrero runs in and reverses it allowing Homicide to pin Styles. Hector runs out, the referee drops down and counts the pinfall.

Winners, advancing in the Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament: LAX

TNA Knockouts Makeover Battle Royal: Gail Kim vs. ODB vs. Traci Brooks vs. Velvet Sky vs. Angelina Love vs. Jacqueline vs. Christy Hemme vs. Roxxi Laveaux vs. Rhaka Khan vs. Salinas
The bell rings and all the ladies begin brawling. The action is everywhere in the ring. Roxxi throws Salinas out of the ring.

Salinas is eliminated.

Angelina Love starts pouring the contents of ODB's flask right in her face. Traci Brooks knocks Velvet Sky off the ring apron.

Velvet Sky is eliminated.
Traci Brooks is eliminated.

Christy Hemme with a dive on Rhaka Khan, but Khan throws her over the top rope.

Christy Hemme is eliminated.

Lots of double-team action on Rhaka Khan in the corner. ODB with a big charge on Khan. Jacqueline with a huge dropkick on Khan from the top rope. ODB, Jacqueline and Angelina Love all toss Rhaka Khan over the top rope.

Rhaka Kahn is eliminated.
Jacquelien is eliminated.
ODB is eliminated.
Angelina Love is eliminated.

We are down to the final two - Roxxi and Gail Kim. We have to keep in mind that Gail Kim is immune from getting her head shaved, so Angelina Love will be the next in line if Kim comes in second. TNA referees drag Angelina back to ringside and sit her in the barber chair if Roxxi is to win the Ladder Match portion of this match.

The bell rings again and Roxxi heads outside to get the ladder. Roxxi takes out Angelina Love with the ladder, but Gail Kim takes her out with a baseball slide into the ladder! Kim then leaves the ring and grabs another ladder setting it up under the contract. Kim starts climbing up the ladder, but Roxxi goes under her and attempts a powerbomb. Kim counters a powerbomb into a huracanranna takedown. Kim then tosses the ladder on top of Roxxi. Kim sets the ladder up in the corner and Roxxi tosses her into it. Roxxi with a charge on Kim in the corner against the ladder! Kim then flips Roxxi into the ladder as well.

Angelina Love then brings the other ladder into the ring and tells Gail to climb up. Gail sets it up, starts climbing and Roxxi appears up the other side. Kim then flips over Roxxi and hits a sunset flip off the ladder! Roxxi appears to be busted open on the side of her face. Angelina Love comes up on the ring apron and Roxxi takes her out. Roxxi with a spinebuster on Kim right on the ladder in the corner! Velvet Sky runs out and Roxxi levels her with a clothesline. Roxxi starts climbing up the ladder and Angelina Love pushes it over sending Roxxi into the ropes. Kim sets the ladder back up, climbs it and gets the contract for the winner.

Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament - Finals Match: Team 3D vs. LAX w/ Hector Guerrero
In the ring, Hernandez is on the top rope. Ray chops him a few times, gets up with him, hooks an arm and connects with a big superplex. Devon then leaps off the other top rope and connects with a flying headbutt. Cover by Devon, but Hernandez gets a shoulder up. Ray and Devon with a modified 3D on Homicide. They realize Hernandez is the legal man and go after him. Hernandez with a double clothesline on 3D and Homicide with a huracanranna takedown on Ray. Hernandez with a spinebuster takedown on Ray, but Devon takes out Hernandez. Devon has Homicide up on the top rope. Hernandez goes behind Devon and connects with the Border Toss. Homicide with a Frog Splash off the top rope on Devon, hooks the leg and gets the pinfall!
Winners & NEW TNA World Tag Team Champions: LAX

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Scott Steiner vs. Kaz
Joe goes off the ropes, Steiner trips him up, pulls him out and sends Joe into the ring barricade. Kaz jumps out and Steiner clotheslines him on the outside. Steiner chops Joe in the chest, walks up the heel ramp and gives Joe a suplex at the end of the ramp. Joe favors his head after taking the suplex. Steiner breaks the count rolling in and out of the ring. Steiner rolls Kaz back in the ring.

Joe is still favoring his head on the ramp. In the ring, Steiner has Kaz up on the top rope and launches him off with a huge overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Joe tries getting up on the ring apron and Steiner knocks him off. Steiner takes out Kaz, goes to the ring apron, Joe gets to his feet and Steiner levels him with a flying clothesline. Steiner returns to the ring, chops Kaz, puts him up on the top rope, puts Kaz on his shoulders and falls back with force. Steiner covers Kaz, but Joe breaks up the pinfall. Steiner with a belly-to-belly suplex on Joe. Steiner with an overhead belly-to-belly on Kaz.

Another belly-to-belly by Steiner on Joe. Steiner kicks Kaz in the gut, gets him up on his shoulder, drops him over the top rope and yells it is over. Steiner applies the Steiner Recliner on Joe. Kaz is still up on the top rope as Joe reaches for the ropes. Kaz gets to his feet on the top rope, Joe puts Steiner on his shoulders and Kaz dropkicks Steiner off Joe's shoulders! All three men are down. Kaz is up first and takes out Steiner with a spin kick followed by a springboard leg drop. Kaz with a cover, but Steiner kicks out. Kaz hits Joe and then elbows Steiner. Joe with a huge overhead german suplex on Kaz. Joe slams Steiner with force in the corner. Steiner rolls to the outside and grabs a steel pipe.

Joe hits a suicide dive through the ropes, but Steiner gets the pipe up hitting Joe in the face. Kaz then takes out Steiner jumping over the top rope. Kaz throws Steiner in the ring, slingshots in, covers, but only gets a two count. Kaz with a leaping DDT on Steiner from the ring apron, cover, but only a two count. Steiner catches Kaz with an elbow to the gut when Kaz leaps off the top rope. Kaz levels Steiner with a huge dropkick.

Kaz is up on the top rope, Steiner is holding the referee and Petey Williams trips up Kaz crotching him. Steiner goes up top and hits the Frankensteiner on Kaz! Steiner covers Kaz...1...2...Joe breaks it up at the last second. Joe with an elbow to Steiner, boot to the face and a huge body splash in the air. Joe with a huge dropkick and back splash on Kaz. Powerslam by Joe on Steiner, cover, but Steiner kicks out. Joe attempts a rear naked choke, Joe breaks it to dodge an attack from Kaz and takes out Kaz with a big kick. Steiner and Joe are on the ring apron.

Joe puts Steiner on the top rope. Joe with elbows to Steiner. Kaz dropkicks Steiner off the ring apron. Kaz elbows Steiner, goes up top, but Steiner powers Kaz back down to the mat. Steiner covers Kaz, but only gets a two count. Kaz puts Steiner back up top, but Steiner throws him away. Joe then runs up, kicks Steiner in the head and connects with the Muscle Buster. Joe covers and gets the pinfall.

TNA Wrestling Results: iMPACT, 4-24-08

Here's what went down on TNA Wrestling's feature show last night...

Booker T walked to the ring and said he wanted to speak with Sting about last week. Booker said he was wrong to disrespect Sting last week. They shook hands. James Storm, Robert Roode, and Jacqueline walked onto the stage. Storm said Sting and Booker should get married. Roode said everyone, including the fans, want to see Sting and Booker fight.

Jim Cornette walked out and took a shot at how the heels were dressed. Cornette announced the "Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament." He said there would be a tag team tournament on Impact. The winner of the matches advance to the pay-per-view and will face four teams that consist of randomly drawn singles wrestlers. Cornette announced Sting and Booker vs. Roode and Storm for later in the show..

Backstage, Jeremy Broash interviewed A.J. Styles about the tag title tournament. A distraught Karen Angle showed up and said she doesn't belong in TNA because of what Kurt did to her at the pay-per-view. A.J. took her hand and led her away to console her.

Team 3D defeated Black Reign and Rellik in a tournament match in 8:30.

Christian and Rhino defeated The Motor City Machine Guns in 11:15 in a tournament match.

Sting and Booker T beat Robert Roode and James Storm in 11:00.

Samoa Joe defeated Kurt Angle to retain the TNA Title in 23:00.

After the match, Steiner stood over Samoa Joe and said, "Don't ever disrespect me." He was pissed because Kurt forgot his name earlier in the show. Steiner got in Joe's face. Joe slapped Steiner. Cornette came out (because we haven't had enough of him tonight) and booked Joe vs. Angle vs. Steiner in a three-way for the TNA Title at the Sacrifice pay-per-view.

TNA Wrestling Results: Lockdown, 4-13-08

The TNA Wrestling championship changes hands on Lockdown last night. Here's a full recap of the event...

- Jay Lethal defeated Johnny Devine and Sonjay Dutt and Curry Man and Consequences Creed and Shark Boy in an Xscape match for the X Division Title. Before the match, Devine spat his gum at a fan and then set up a video camera at ringside. Some cool spots early with Lethal and Dutt performing tag moves, followed by Curry and Shark doing the same.

Devin rolled up Dutt for the pin at 2:45. Creed pinned Shark Boy at 4:30. The announcers noted that Dutt remained at ringside "to cheer on" Lethal. There were several shots of SoCal Val at ringside. At 6:30, Curry moonsaulted off the top off the cage onto Creed and Devine. Cool spot. Curry pinned Creed at 7:10. At 8:30, Devine hit Devine Intervention on Curry.

- Roxxi Laveaux won the "Queen of the Cage" Match. Order of entry was Christy Hemme, Salinas, Jacqueline, Traci Brooks, Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Rhaka Khan and Roxxi Laveaux. The Knockouts have to fight their way into the cage and the first two that do that will compete for the Queen of the Cage crown. All the Knockouts begin to brawl around the ring. Angelina Love is the first to climb the cage and get into the ring. Roxxi is the next to get in so we will now see Roxxi vs. Angelina Love. Roxxi takes out Angelina with a big elbow, splash in the corner and then a big boot. Angelina with a jawbreaker on Roxxi and then bounces her head off the ring numerous times. Angelina then starts choking out Roxxi.

Angelina then chokes Roxxi against the ropes as well. Angelina counters a powerbomb attempt and then plants Roxxi with a faceplant. Angelina with a few chops, rollup, but Roxxi sends her into the cage. Roxxi then hits Angelina with her new finisher that is a guillotine choke-like plant onto the mat to get the pinfall.

- B.G. James beat Kip James. Late in the match, Kip, who has claimed in shoot interviews that he hates Shawn Michaels, started tuning up the band for Sweet Chin Music. He went for the superkick, but BG ducked it and rolled up Kip for the win. Afterward, BG and Kip shook hands. Kip raised BG's hand and then clotheslined him. He stood over BG and performed the DX chop. Lame! Get your own moves.

- Super Eric won the "Cuffed in the Cage" Match. We don't feel like going through the entire, long, detailed match. In the end, Super Eric then takes out Black Reign with his death valley driver and cuffs him to the cage. Black Reign is the last cuffed to the cage. Super Eric is left standing tall and the winner.

- Gail Kim and ODB defeated Awesome Kong and Raisa Saeed. Saeed wore a burka with bright blue pants. She wrestled in this outfit and dominated Gail Kim early in the match. At 7:30, Saeed tried to powerbomb Kim off the top rope, but Kim turned it into a sweet huracarana for the move of the night. Moments later, ODB pinned Saeed.

- Booker T & Sharmell defeated Robert Roode & Payton Banks in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Roode dodges an Axe Kick attempt, Roode goes for a sulpex, Booker dodges that, Roode dodges a kick from Booker and then launches Booker into the side of the cage with force. Sharmell then tags herself in and starts slapping Roode. Roode then grabs her by the hair, tags in Payton Banks and holds her. Banks then accidentally slaps Roode in the face and Sharmell rolls up Banks to get the pinfall.

- Christian Cage and Sting and Kevin Nash and Matt Morgan and Rhino defeated Tomko and A.J. Styles and Team 3D and James Storm in a Lethal Lockdown match. Christian opened the match for his team. With the lights out and the crowd watching Tomko make his entrance, Styles came out of nowhere to dive off the top rope and onto Christian to open the match. Tomko headed backstage.

Brother Ray was out next wearing a Yankees shirt for cheap heat from the live crowd. It worked. Styles shot Christian through the ropes and Ray slammed the door on his head. The heels worked over Christian until Rhino out. James Storm came out next with his stupid beer bottle and Jacqueline. No reaction from the live crowd to Storm.

Styles and Christian brawled on top of the cage. Ray was shot into the cage and it knocked Christian to ringside just as Kevin Nash was making his ring entrance. Nash beat up Styles briefly, but Ray attacked Nash's knee. Christian recovered and climbed to the top of the cage and hit a cross-body block on Storm and Ray. Cool move that popped the live crowd.

Devon was out next and the heels continued to work over Nash's left knee. The live crowd counted down with the clock, but they were silent when Morgan made his entrance. Ouch. Morgan got in a little offense, but didn't get the big debuting giant sequence you'd assume he'd get.

Tomko came out with a chair, but referee Earl Hebner wouldn't let him bring it in the ring. Devon was the first man to blade and he bled heavily from his forehead. At 19:00, Sting was the final man into the cage and he got a big pop. A minute later, they lowered the cage and it had a slew of weapons attached. The roof also had a hole in the corner and Storm and Cage quickly headed to the top of the cage to brawl.

Storm's foot poked through the top of the cage and he nearly fell into the ring. Inside the cage, Morgan and Nash hit simultaneous chokeslams. Sting locked one of the heels in the death lock, but Styles broke it up with a kendo stick shot.

Christian set up a table on top of the cage. Styles headed to the top of the cage to help Storm. The heels placed Christian on the table and then set up a ladder on top of the cage. Christian recovered and brawled with Styles on top of the ladder. Storm pushed the ladder over, causing Christian and Styles to crash through the table in the big spot of the match.

Storm headed back inside the cage and smashed his stupid beer bottle over Morgan's head. He turned around and walked into a a gore from Rhino, who made the cover and scored the pin.

- Samoa Joe defeated Kurt Angle to win the TNA Title. Before the match, Kurt had security remove Karen Angle from ringside. She protested and said she was there for Kurt, but she eventually left. Samoa Joe wore his normal ring gear. Kurt taped his hands and feet and wore MMA-style shorts.

At 9:00, Joe rolled over to reverse the move and Angle had to let it go. Kurt went right back on offense and worked over Joe's left knee. Two minutes later, Joe came back with a huge clothesline and Angle took a big bump onto the back of his head and neck. Joe went for the Muscle Buster, but Angle fought him off and applied the Ankle Lock.

At 13:00, Joe powerbombed Angle for a nearfall. Kurt kicked out, but Joe immediately rolled him over for a half-crab. Joe turned that into a crossface. Angle raised his hand to tap. Instead, he reached down and grabbed Joe's ankle and turned it into another Ankle Lock. Odd combo in that it seemed unrealistic. Joe reversed the move back into the Crossface. Angle managed to slip out and reach the ropes.

Angle stood up and charged at Joe, who ducked and went right back to the Crossface. Angle slipped out, stood up, and hit the Olympic Slam for a really good nearfall. Angle locked in the ankle lock. Joe reached up to tap, but fought out of it and Joe in the rear naked choke. Angle grabbed the ref and used him as leverage to get to the ropes. Trigg raved over that move and Tenay scolded him.

Angle went for the Olympic Slam, but Joe fought him off and rammed him into the cage. Joe kicked Angle, placed him on the top rope, and then hit the Muscle Buster for the clean pin.

- LAX defeated Lance Hoyt & Jimmy Rave and The Motor City Machineguns to become the #1 Contenders for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. Hernandez with a huge sitdown powerbomb on Rave, but Shelley drops Hernandez with a reverse DDT. Hoyt takes out Shelley, Sabin with a DDT on Hoyt and Homicide with a gringo stunner on Sabin. Homicide with a dive to the outside taking everyone out allowing Hernandez to hit the Border Toss on Rave to get the pinfall. Great opener. After the match, they show highlights from the match. Joel and Jonny Fairplay from Survivor are shown at ringside as LAX celebrates.

- "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal defeated Petey Williams to retain the TNA X Division Championship. Rhaka Khan distracts the referee and Lethal gets thrown off the top rope by Scott Steiner. Williams then connects with the Canadian Destroyer, hooks the leg, but So Cal Val pulls the referees leg. Rhaka Khan goes after Val, but Sonjay Dutt runs out to protect Val. Williams then turns his attention back to Lethal and Lethal gets him in a small package to retain the X Division Title. After the match, Lethal celebrates with Sonjay Dutt and So Cal Val.

- Backstage, Crystal is with Samoa Joe, Christian Cage and Kevin Nash. She asks what they think Jim Cornette's decision will be tonight regarding Thursday's Six Sides of Steel match. Joe said no matter what decision is made, they will take out The Angle Alliance. Cage said as far as he is concerned, his hand was raised on Thursday and he won. He added that it didn't really matter in the end. Nash said the last thing The Angle Alliance would expect would be for him to start the match tonight and that we could see just that.

- Kaz & "Super" Eric Young defeated Black Reign & Rellik. Kaz with a double-team move on Reign and Rellik. All of a sudden music hits and Eric Young comes out dressed as a superhero. He poses as pyro goes off and then hits the ring taking out Reign and Rellik with a double dropkick. Young with a cross-body on Reign, but the pinfall gets broken up. Tenay and West call him Super Eric. Young then puts Reign and Rellik on his shoulders and hits a double death valley driver. Young covers Reign and gets the pinfall. After the match, Kaz and Young celebrate and pose.

- Awesome Kong defeated ODB & Gail Kim to retain the TNA Women's Championship. Kong drops Kim face first into the ring and then splashes Kim with a huge frog splash! ODB breaks up the pinfall and then chops Kong a few times. Kong with an Implant Buster on ODB. Kong goes up to the top rope, but ODB rolls away and avoids the splash. Kong's manager trips up ODB allowing Kong to hit ODB with the Awesome Bomb to get the pinfall and retain the TNA Women's Title.

- Back live, Jim Cornette is in the ring. He said if Team 3D make weight tonight then they won't have to weigh-in ever again. However, if they don't make weight then their contracts with TNA Wrestling will be terminated. Cornette then announced that after viewing the footage from Thursday, Kurt Angle's foot did touch the ground first and did win the match. He said he is hesitant to use video footage to make a new decision for the first time in wrestling so he asks the TNA fans what they should do tonight. The fans boo for giving the advantage to The Angle Alliance and cheer when Cornette said he wants to go backstage to tell them to suck it up. Cornette then announces that the decision from Thursday stands.

- Shark Boy & Curry Man defeated Team 3D in a Fish Market Street Fight (Team 3D made weight so they aren't fired). Devon with a reverse DDT on Curry Man. Shark Boy then drops a fish across the crotch of Ray and Curry Man connects with a cross-body on Devon. Shark Boy and Curry Man with two facebusters on Team 3D. They follow that up with two tornado DDT's on 3D as well. Curry Man gets dumped out by Ray and Ray puts Shark Boy on his shoulders. Devon is up and connects with the Doomsday clothesline. A trash can gets brought in and Curry Man hits Ray with it. Devine tries to powder Curry Man, but hits Ray instead and Devine gets sent into a table over the top rope! The finish saw Ray assist in a 3D, but Ray was still blinded and he gave Devon a 3D and Shark Boy got the pinfall for his team.

- Backstage, Kurt Angle gets in AJ Styles' face and tells him to stop worrying about Karen and to focus on taking out Samoa Joe, Christian Cage and Kevin Nash. They all leave and Jeremy Borash tells Styles that Karen Angle has a "bombshell" to drop on Impact this week.

- Robert Roode defeated Booker T in a Strap Match. Booker gets a burst of energy and takes out Roode with some chops and then a big suplex. Roode counters an Axe Kick attempt by Booker into a DDT. Booker takes out the referee when Roode lights him up with rights and lefts and then both hit each other with a double-clothesline. On the outside, Traci Brooks takes out Payton Banks and takes her handcuffs. Brooks tries to throw them in to Booker, but Roode intercepts and puts them on his knuckles. Roode then takes out Booker with the handcuffs, throws them out and covers Booker to get the pinfall.

- Rhino defeated James Storm in the Elevation X Match. Storm spits beer in the face of Rhino and then hits him with a few rights as he stands up. Storm then low blows himself across a bar at the top of the structure. Storm then loses balance on the bars and barely holds on. Rhino starts kicking down on his gut. Storm still holds on. Rhino continues to kick Storm down and Storm finally lets go and falls from the structure crashing through the table as the bell rings to end the match.

- Samoa Joe, Christian Cage & Kevin Nash defeated The Angle Alliance (TNA World Champion Kurt Angle & TNA World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Tomko) in a Six Man Tag. Angle appears and stares down Joe. Angle runs at Joe and the two exchange rights and lefts. Joe knees Angle in the gut a few times. The action spills to the ring and Angle sends Joe through the ropes to the outside. In doing so, Joe takes out Tomko on the outside. In the ring, Cage connects with a Frog Splash on Angle! Angle then responds sending Cage over the top rope with an overhead suplex.

Styles then goes to work on Cage in the ring. Styles takes out Cage with a big dropkick off the ropes. Tomko gets the tag and he goes to work on Cage as well. Cage fights back with some chops. Tomko with a big fallaway slam on Cage. Angle gets the tag and then applies an Ankle Lock on Cage. Joe comes in to break it up. Cage rolls through and gets a close pinfall on Angle. Cage with a reverse DDT on Angle when Styles missed a clothesline attempt.

Nash gets the tag and he levels everyone. Nash with a big boot on Tomko and a Jacknife Powerbomb on Angle. Styles takes out Nash with a big dropkick to the knee. Joe and Tomko get the tag. Joe with a knee to the face on Tomko and then a big powerbomb on Styles in mid-air! Joe has Styles up in the Muscle Buster, but Angle low blows Joe. Pele Kick by Styles on Joe. Unprettier by Cage on Angle. Nash sends Styles over the top rope. Tomko levels Joe with a clothesline, but Joe won't go down long and locks on the rear naked choke on Tomko! Tomko taps out and Joe gets the win for his team.

After the match, Samoa Joe, Christian Cage and Kevin Nash celebrate their victory over The Angle Alliance. We see a shot of a frustrated Kurt Angle at ringside. They show highlights from the main event leading to the finish. Back live, Joe, Cage and Nash are still celebrating as we see a shot of Kurt Angle clutching the TNA World Title at the top of the ramp staring down Joe.

- AJ Styles & Tomko defeated BG James & "Bullet" Bob Armstrong to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships.
After the match, Kip James hits the ring to check on BG James. Bob Armstrong joins them checking on BG as well. BG is favoring his knee in pain. We see a shot of AJ Styles celebrating, but Tomko gets in his face telling him to focus. Kip and Bob then help BG out of the ring.

- Backstage, Karen Angle said she is sick of doing all of Kurt's dirty work. She said all he cares about is making people like AJ Styles and Tomko happy. Karen asks Kurt when was the last time they did something romantic together. Kurt asks why she is doing this right now of all times. Karen walks off and Kurt calls her a bitch.

- Traci Brooks defeated Payton Banks.

- Scott Steiner defeated Petey Williams in a "Case vs. Case" Match.

- Eric Young defeated James Storm to retain the TNA Drinking Championship.

- Awesome Kong defeated ODB to retain the TNA Women's Championship.

- LAX defeated Black Reign & Rellik.

- Kurt Angle comes out and cuts a promo about wanting an answer from Christian Cage and Robert Roode later tonight on if they want to join The Angle Alliance.

- ODB defeated TNA Women's Champion Gail Kim in a Non-Title Match. After the match, Awesome Kong hit the ring and Kong and Kim had a pull apart.

- Kurt Angle comes back out again and wants his answer. Christian Cage and Robert Roode then come out. Roode shakes hands with Angle. Cage cuts a long promo and only agrees to join if he can be the captain of The Angle Alliance. Cage and Angle then shake hands.

- Christopher Daniels defeated Senshi with Elix Skipper as the special guest referee. Daniels won the briefcase that Senshi got the night before at Turning Point.

- Team 3D & Johnny Devine defeated The Motor City Machineguns & Jay "Black Machismo" Lethal in a Six Man Ladder Match. The X Division Title was up for grabs supposedly. Lethal got the belt at one point, but 3D attacked him and put the belt on Devine.

- Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Kaz & Eric Young defeated TNA World Champion Kurt Angle, TNA Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Tomko, Christian Cage & Robert Roode. Angle turned on Cage after the match.

TNA Wrestling Results: Turning Point, 12-2-07

Team 3D & Johnny Devine defeated The Motor City Machineguns & TNA X Division Champion Jay "Black Machismo" Lethal in a Six Man Tag Team Tables Match. There are lots of tables setup at ringside. Big spot early on saw Shelley, Sabin and Lethal all dive over the top rope and take out Team 3D and Devine. 3D slid a table into the ring and it hit Lethal who was standing at ringside. Shelley and Sabin responded by dropkicking the table into the face of 3D. Shelley and Sabin also went after Devine with some double-team moves. Ray moved a table that was setup when Sabin and Lethal hit Brother Devon with a suplex. 3D took out Shelley and Sabin later on with a big double-team slam and leg drop.

They did a referee bump when Lethal charged at Ray, but Ray moved and Lethal took out the referee. Lethal got a kendo stick and started hitting Devine with it, but Devine on a table and then connected with the flying elbow from the top to break the table. The finish saw 3D take out Lethal, Shelley and Sabin with the X Title and 3D put Devine on top of Lethal over the broken table when the referee came to, so the referee gave the win to 3D and Devine.

- Backstage, Crystal was with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Hall hasn't arrived to the PPV yet. Nash assured Samoa Joe that Hall would be there. He then started joking about how the only reason he was hanging out with Kurt Angle was to be around his wife Karen. Joe took the mic and said the critics of Nash are true. He said when Hall shows up and he wants to get serious, he can find him in his locker room. Nash called Joe a super serious Samoan.

- Angelina Love & Velvet Sky defeated ODB & Roxxi Laveaux. During the match, Sky gave ODB a wedgy. ODB gave the referee a wedgy as well. ODB put Sky in a tree of woe in the corner and stepped on her. Sky and Love give Roxxi a double Russian Leg Sweep to get the win. The finish saw Love kick Roxxi as Sky held her to get the win.

- Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Kurt Angle as Angle goes to confront Christian Cage. Borash tries to get Angle to calm down by doing a breathing technique. He said he learned it from Karen. Kurt tells him to stay away from his wife. Angle goes in and talks with Cage, saying he and Roode can join the Alliance. Angle talked about how they don't have to like each other, but that they could co-exist and that he would be the leader of the group. Cage said that all sounds good except for the last part. Cage left and told Roode to follow his lead. Roode called Cage an asshole when he left, to which Ms. Brooks said that it takes one to know one.

- Eric Young defeated James Storm. They worked an angle before the match where Jackie Moore didn't allow Storm to have any beer before the match. When Young got in a series of offense on Storm during the match, Tenay and West wondered if it had to do with Storm not getting his usual dose of beer. The action spilled to the outside of the ring and Storm worked on Young's shoulder against the ring post. Storm then continued to work on Young's shoulder for the rest of the match. Storm attempted a superkick, but Young countered and hit a powerslam.

The finish saw Jackie try to spit beer in the face of Young, but Young dodged it and she spit it in Storm's face instead. Storm then took the beer bottle, drank some of it and then tried to hit Young, but the referee took it away and Young rolled up Storm for the win. Orlando crowd was really into the match.

- The "Feast or Fired" match is up next. Four briefcases will be hanging from four corners of the ring and the winner must get the briefcase and have possession by having their feet planted on the floor. The TNA stars involved include: Senshi, Elix Skipper, Christopher Daniels, Sonjay Dutt, Shark Boy, Lance Hoyt, Jimmy Rave, Petey Williams, Chris Harris, BG James, Kip James, Homicide, Hernandez and Scott Steiner. They are going to reveal whats inside of the briefcases this Thursday on iMPACT.

- Petey Williams, BG James, Senshi & Scott Steiner won the "Feast or Fired" Match. TNA described this as an anything-goes brawl. Petey Williams got the first case. Kip James took down the next case and tossed it to BG James on the outside of the ring. Senshi got the third case after he was launched into the corner by Hernandez. Christopher Daniels got the last case, but dropped it before he could reach the floor. Kip James took down Daniels and then Scott Steiner grabed the case and got to the outside to get the win. As noted earlier, the Pay Per View paying audience has to wait until Thursday on Impact to find out what is inside of the cases - being either title shots or a pink slip.

- Gail Kim defeated Awesome Kong via DQ; Kim retains the TNA Women's Championship. Early on, Kong sent Kim to the outside and right into the announce table. Back in the ring, Kong applied a Camel Clutch on Kim. Kim mounted an offense of dropkicks taking down Kong. The finish saw Kong choke Kim in the corner. The referee tried to stop her, but Kong pushed the referee away and he called for the bell. Kong went crazy when she was DQ'ed and gave the referee a powerbomb.

Velvet Sky and Angelina Love hit the ring to help Kim. Kong took out Sky and then punched a steel chair that Love brought into her face. Kong then gave Kim a powerbomb over the steel chair. The Orlando crowd called for ODB to run out.

- Backstage, Kurt Angle tells AJ Styles that his meeting with Christian Cage didn't go well at all. Styles said he couldn't function without Christian and tells Angle he is done with the Alliance. Karen then offers an idea to talk to Samoa Joe to turn on Nash and Hall since he is upset with them. Kurt said that might work and leaves to go talk to him.

- Abyss & Raven defeated Black Reign & Rellik in a 10,000 Tacks Match. Mike Tenay and Don West mentioned that Rhino was injured and that Raven would be taking his place tonight. All four brawled on the outside to begin the match. Early on, Abyss attempted to chokeslam Reign through a table of tacks but was unsuccessful. Abyss later busted open Reign with his "Darkness Falls" weapon. Rellik later shoved tacks into the mouth of Raven. Abyss and Raven later took out Reign and Rellik with kendo stick shots. Big spot saw Raven send Reign through a table full of tacks.

In the ring, Rellik dumped out a bag full of tacks. Abyss attempted to chokeslam Rellik on the tacks, but Rellik spit a mist into the eyes of Abyss to counter. The finish then saw Abyss catch Rellik with a Black Hole Slam on the tacks to get the pinfall.

- Backstage, Kurt Angle confronts Samoa Joe and said Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are only using him to get over in TNA since they are old and can't go anymore. Joe listened to what Angle said and they teased Joe turning on Hall and Nash later tonight.

- Booker T & Kaz defeated Christian Cage & Robert Roode. Very good match between these four. Match kicked off with Cage and Kaz exchanging chops. Double-teaming by Cage and Roode later on Booker. Kaz got the hot tag and took out Cage and Roode with a dropkick. Big spot saw Kaz hit a big flip over the top rope on Cage and Roode on the outside. They showed the Robert Roode fan in the crowd looking on. Kaz took out Cage and Roode with a big double-reverse DDT and tagged in Booker.

Cage dodged an Axe Kick attempt by Booker. Booker took out Cage with a dropkick from the top rope. The finish saw Roode try to take out Booker with a steel chair, but Roode took out Cage by accident. Kaz hit Roode with a dropkick to the outside and Booker connected with the Axe Kick on Cage for the pinfall. After the match, Cage and Roode argue and then start to brawl. AJ Styles runs out and breaks it up.

- Before the match, Samoa Joe got on the mic and informed the fans in Orlando that Scott Hall no-showed tonight's PPV. Joe talked about the difference in wrestlers at TNA - the ones who bust their asses every night and the others who just come in for money. Joe tells Hall to kiss his ass and said he didn't care if he upset TNA for what he was saying. Joe then talked about talking to all the wrestlers backstage and asking who wanted to be in the main event. He picked Eric Young and they teased that Joe will only tag in Young since he is upset with Nash.

- Samoa Joe, Eric Young & Kevin Nash defeated The Angle Alliance (TNA World Champion Kurt Angle & TNA World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Tomko) in a Six Man Tag Team Match. The match kicked off with Samoa Joe and Styles. Joe took the action to the ground and then tagged in Eric Young. Kurt Angle got the tag as well, but Young quickly tagged in Kevin Nash. Angle bailed and tagged in Tomko. Tomko and Nash traded shots. They continued to bring up how Joe and Nash wouldn't be tagging each other in. Styles attempted a suplex off the top on Young, but Young countered into a faceplant and tagged in Nash.

Joe and Young brawled with Styles and Tomko on the outside, while Angle applied the Ankle Lock on Nash in the ring. Joe came in and Angle yelled at him not to do it. Joe still took out Angle and Nash gave Angle a powerbomb. The finish then saw Young assist and setup a Muscle Buster by Joe on Tomko to get the pinfall. After the match, Joe and Young celebrated the win as Nash walked off to the back.

Fight For the Right Quarter Finals: James Storm vs Eric Young
A pretty decent match that had a bad ending. Storm stops Jackie down and Young goes to check on her but gets hit with The Last Call superkick for his troubles.
Winner: James Storm

JB is with Karen in the back as she goes to Nashâs lockerroom. She tries to seduce him. But heâs not interested. Sheâs an Angle. She leaves. Nash says a cold shower will take care of that.

Sonjay Dutt vs Shark Boy vs Havoc vs Petey Williams

Robert Roode and Brooks are in the back with Crystal. Roode wants his title shot. Heâs tired of seeing the same guys having the top spots. Last week he took down Samoa Joe, and tonight in his match with Fatu, he will be one step closer to being heavyweight champion.

World Title Match: Kurt Angle vs Sting
A few minutes in, Nash comes to ringside and sits, watching the match. Sting hits Nash. Nash interferes, thereâs a ref bump, Angle hits the Angle Slam and Hebner comes out to count the 3.

The refs argue and Cornette comes to the ring. Cornette is taking the refs to the back and they are going to watch the tape and decide on the outcome.

In Cornetteâs office Nash is yelling at Cornette, demanding a match with Angle.

Christian Cage comes out and does commentary with Don West. Fatu wins after the interference from Joe
Winner: Fatu

Cornette says Kurt Angle is the champion. But at Genesis there will be a tag team match for the World Title. Nash and Kurt vs Sting andâ¦ Sting comes out and says he will find his own partner. Whoever gets the win in the match is the new champ.

The following will air on October 18...

- The taping opened with Kurt Angle demanding a rematch for the TNA Title. Details are sketchy, but Angle was laid out by Kevin Nash.

- Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley ended in a No Contest when Team 3D jumped both men.

- Awesome Kong defeated Talia Madison.

- Robert Roode & James Storm defeated Chris Harris & Rhino.

- A "Parade of Champions" was held hosted by Jim Cornette and Mike Tenay with all the champions coming out of Bound For Glory. Cornette announces Christian Cage vs. Samoa Joe for the main even with the winner gaining the last spot in the Fight for the Right Tournament. Sting is presented the TNA Title and accepts Angle's challenge from earlier. Angle appears coming out on a wheelchair and Karen Angle says the rematch must take place next week.

- Kaz defeated Lance Hoyt.

- Abyss defeated Disco Inferno. After the match, Black Reign and James Mitchell handcuffed Abyss and Reign put his rat in Abyss' face.

- Christian Cage defeated Samoa Joe to earn the last spot in the Fight for the Right Tournament.
