Question and Answer Session with Stone Cold Steve Austin

After a recent screening of his new movie, The Condemned, Stone Cold Steve Austin answered questions from his audience in Boston.

Here's a recap.

Q: Have you watched any wrestling from the "other" company and if so what do you think of guys like Samoa Joe?

Stone Cold Steve Austin A: I don't really watch any wrestling, but I wish TNA the best of luck. One of my best friends, Kevin Nash, is there and I really hope they can become competition. The last thing I am going to say about TNA is they have to get rid of that stupid ring. Wrestling is done in a four sided ring and that's the bottom line.

Q: Where was the movie filmed and how long did it take?

A: Australia for the most part and from start to finish it was about four months.

Q:Who are or were your favorite actors?

A: I was watching a movie on the plane over here and that Rene Zwellinger is pretty good.

Q: Will you ever wrestle again?

A: Never say never.

Q: Will we ever see a Hulk Hogan vs. Steve Austin match?

A: That I can tell you will never happen.

WWE News/Notes: The Rock, Stone Cold, Trump/McMahon

  • The surprise appearance by The Rock on RAW was put together by Brian Gewirtz, who is one of the few people in the company that stays in touch with him. The whole thing was un-scripted.
  • Steve Austin’s promo on WWE RAW was put together by Stephanie McMahon.
  • There is quite a bit of frustration within WWE that the McMahon-Trump deal isn’t getting more media coverage. McMahon was expecting another wave of coverage after RAW, but it didn’t meet his expectations. The only stuff out was a business wire story that WWE wrote itself that nobody picked up.

The Condemned: Stone Cold Steve Austin Movie Trailer

Soon enough, Stone Cold Steve Austin will return to WWE RAW. And he may be involved in Wrestlemania 23.

No, he still can't wrestle. But he can promote his new movie, The Condemned. Here's the trailer for it:

WWE News/Notes: Smackdown Rating, Steve Austin Cold Movie

  • This past Friday’s edition of SmackDown came in with a 3.0 cable rating and a 5.1 share. This is a real strong number for the show; it even earned its season high number amongst women 18 to 34 by scoring a 1.4.
  • Steve Austin’s newest movie The Condemned is described as the following: "Jack Conrad (Stone Cold Steve Austin) is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor. The producer films the illegal event, airing the killings live and uncensored onto the Internet."

Austin is scheduled to be involved in this year’s WrestleMania 23, as well as WWE RAW in the near future.

WWE News/Notes: WWE Diva Update, Stone Cold Return

  • Although her use of her real first name probably made it obvious, the brunette that joined Kelly and Layla El for the Extreme Expose was Brooke Adams. Adams auditioned for the 2006 WWE Diva Search but didn't make the finals.

She later scored a WWE contract and was assigned to Deep South Wrestling. Both Brooke and Layla are now listed on the ECW Extremists page.

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin will return to Monday Night RAW soon to push his new movie "The Condemned."
