WWE Spoilers: Survivor Series Rumors and Notes

According to Dave Meltzer ...

  • King Booker vs. Batista for the World Title is likely to be the main-event tonight and expect a new champion to be crowned.
  • Team Flair are likely to go over Team Spirit Squad, who should be breaking up within the next few weeks.
  • First blood matches are usually meant for the heel go over; with Kennedy on his way up, expect an actual loss for the Undertaker tonight.
  • With Trish Stratus' successful retirement match last time, it is very unlikely the same will be done with Lita tonight. Expect Mickie James to win.

WWE Spoilers: Smackdown Results, 11-24-06

The following report is courtesy of wrestleview.com ...

- Backstage, Vickie Guerrero approached Chris Benoit and wanted to know why he called her lawyer. Benoit said he knew Vickie and Chavo were up to something regarding Eddie's estate. Vickie told Benoit to stay out of her business. She tried to slap Benoit, but he grabbed her arm and stopped her.

- Backstage, MVP was icing his head following his match with Kane. Mr. Kennedy walked up and apologized for throwing him into the ring with Kane and Undertaker last week. He said this week is about being thankful and he is going to tell Undertaker how thankful he is.

Booker

- Backstage, King Booker asked Teddy Long to have Batista sign an agreement that if he lost at Survivor Series, he could never get another title match against him.

WWE Spoilers: Smackdown Wrestler Injured at Tapings

Once again, we won't reveal any results from the tapings of Smackdown this week. But we can report on an injured superstar.

David Taylor was hurt at this week's tapings. Reports indicate that Taylor tore his meniscus in his left knee and is scheduled for surgery this Friday.

Not familiar with Taylor? He's a veteran of British and German federatioms, having made his WWE TV debut last week as William Regal’s tag team partner. He had previously worked with Regal in WCW as a member of the Blue Bloods.

WWE Spoilers: The Boogeyman Returns to Smackdown!

We won't run any results from this week's Smackdown until the show airs Friday night, but figured we'd let fans know that The Boogeyman re-appeared at last night's tapings.

The wrester was released and then re-signed (for some reason) by WWE management a few weeks ago.

WWE Spoilers: Survivor Series Main Event Revealed

The local advertising in Philadelphia during this week's edition of Monday Night RAW was promoting a RAW vs. ECW vs. Smackdown team match for WWE Survivor Series.

The wrestlers involved for RAW will be WWE Champion John Cena, Triple H & Shawn Michaels; taking on the Smackdown combo of World Champion King Booker, Rey Mysterio & Batista; going against the ECW team comprised of ECW World Champion Big Show, Rob Van Dam & Sabu.

Tickets for the PPV are scheduled to go on sale this Saturday.

WWE Spoilers: Future of Kane Decided

After losing his match to Umaga on WWE RAW last night, Kane said goodbye to Monday night fans. While the angle was planned to give the big man some time off, it wasn't decided until recently exactly where he'd go upon his return.

After talk of sending Kane to ECW fizzled, however, you can now expect to see the Big Red Machine show up on Smackdown once his break is complete.

WWE Spoilers: More Evidence of NWO Return; Kane to Lose to Umaga

nWo Logo- As if Eric Bischoff constantly mentioning the nWo wasn't enough of a reason to suspect the group's return, here's another news item to consider:

On September 27, WWE filed to renew the trademark for the clique. Granted, the company often takes this step - even for old, unused factions - in order to continually brand merchandise. But the timing in this case is interesting to note.

- To further suspicion that Kane will be leaving WWE RAW next week, a commercial aired Tuesday night during ECW on Sci Fi in the Chicago market. It promoted the October 23rd edition of RAW coming to the Allstate Arena. The main event advertised?

John Cena & DX vs. Edge, Randy Orton ... and Umaga.

WWE Spoiler: Who Will Leave RAW Next Week?

It was announced on WWE RAW last night that Umaga and Kane would do battle next week with one big stipulation: the loser will leave the brand.

Sources have been reporting that Kane has been asking for time off for awhile now and this match will be used as an excuse to grant such sabbatical to the veteran.

It's safe to assume he'll end up on Smackdown upon his return, considering the fact that Kane has feuded with everyone on the RAW roster ... including himself, in one of the worst story lines of the year.

Smackdown/No Mercy Spoiler: Two More Matches Added

We won't post the results of this week's Smackdown tapings until they air, but we can say that two more matches were announced for No Mercy during them.

Aside from Lashley challenging King Booker for the title and Mr. Ken Kennedy taking on The Undertaker, the following two contests will take place on October 8:

  1. Finlay vs. Batista
  2. Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero ... in a steel cage!

Unforgiven Spoiler: John Cena Advertised for RAW

John Cena to Smackdown? The thoughts of various WWE Superstars on the possible move may not matter anymore.

With Unforgiven taking place on Sunday, word is coming in that Cena is still advertised for WWE RAW events on dates long after the pay-per-view has ended.

The two main examples are a show in Chicago on October 23 that and an upcoming Survivor Series tour of the UK this November.

Such advertisements are typically printed well in advance, so it's plausible that may still be changed - or it's plausible that Cena will grab the title belt before Edge in the duo's TLC match at the event. Tune in and find out!
