- Backstage, Mr. Kennedy and MVP argue. They finally agree to work together tonight to take out The Undertaker and Kane.

- A hearse is parked in the entrance aisle.

- The Undertaker & Kane vs. Mr. Kennedy & MVP ended in a Double Count Out. Undertaker and MVP brawled to the back to cause the count out. Kennedy then got into the hearse and looked to run Kane over. The lights in the arena then went out and when they came back on, Undertaker was inside the car with Kennedy. Kennedy ran off and Kane sat up.

- Chavo Guerrero defeated Funaki. Before the match, Chavo got on the mic and said that Chris Benoit owed Vickie Guerrero and apology. Benoit watched the match from ringside. After the match, Benoit attacked Chavo and locked him in the Sharpshooter. Vickie then slapped Benoit. Benoit stared at Vickie and then left.

- Vito defeated Sylvan.

- A segment took place with The Miz eating "crazy food" such as a pig's tongue and monkey brains. He refused to eat a plate full of worms. When Miz went to put the lid back on the pot, The Boogeyman popped out with a mouthful and Miz took off.

- WWE Champion John Cena defeated Finlay.

Main Event for Armageddon Set Up: Smackdown Results, 12-1-06

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net ...

Batista

The show starts with Teddy Long in the ring. He talks a little about Survivor Series, and says that at Armageddon, MVP will take on Kane in and Inferno Match, and Mr. Kennedy will face Undertaker in a Last Ride Match. Then he welcomed the new World Heavyweight Champion, Batista, to the ring. He said the kinds of things you would expect him to, about surrendering the title, and finally getting it back, but was eventually interrupted by King Booker.

The King said that Batista had stolen the title from him, and that he was going to invoke his rematch clause right here tonight. The were both getting ready to fight when Finlay came out and said that Booker didn't deserve a rematch, because he'd never beat Finlay. In the end of it all, Teddy Long decided to book a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship for later on Smackdown.

MNM vs. Brian Kendrick and Paul London

- MNM won after William Regal and Dave Taylor came out and interfered with Kendrick and London.

- There was a backstage segment with MVP and Mr. Kennedy where they talked about what had happened on Sunday. Kennedy was pretty upset, and MVP said it was a shame, because they could've helped each other out.

Chavo Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit
- Pretty standard match between these two, nothing too spectacular or out of the ordinary. The end came when Vicki got on the ring apron, and Benoit almost knocked her off again, but stopped himself, which proved enough of a distraction for Chavo to come from behind and roll him up, getting the three count by holding Benoit's tights.

- Batista was shown backstage talking on a cell phone, but they only played it in the arena for about 5-10 seconds, because Layla El was coming out and they had to play her entrance video.

Layla vs. Kristal
- The crowd started turning on this match near the end, chanting "boring." Kristal won. There was no Boogeyman during or after the match.

MVP vs. The Undertaker
- The match started out going back and forth, but eventually Taker went out of the ring and got a chair. MVP left the ring, and Mr. Kennedy came out. This, again, was on the opposite side of the ring from me, so I'm not sure if Kennedy willingly got in the ring, or if MVP threw him in, but he ended up in there somehow. Not long after that, Kane came out, and all four of them ended up in the ring. Kane and Undertaker always had the better of MVP and Kennedy, but somehow Kennedy escaped and ran over the annouce table and through the crowd.

Undertaker/MVP

Finlay vs. King Booker vs. Batista (C) for the World Heavyweight Championship
- There was a lot of action between all three guys, with at least one spot where Booker and Finlay teamed up, only to have Finlay pull Booker off Batista because he wanted the belt. Little Bastard made an appearance, but like at Survivor Series, he just ran in, looked at the size of the guys, got scared and ran out. Eventually, Batista got the better of both of them, and he gave a spinebuster to Finlay, and tried to put away King Booker, who escaped and went for the Scissors Kick, but Batista moved and gave him the Batista Bomb to retain his title.

Long announced that Booker and Finlay would get another shot against the champion at Armageddon in a tag match. We now know Batista's partner will be RAW's John Cena.

Smackdown Causes Uproar in Indonesia After Boy is Killed

This is a troubling story.

Smackdown is under fire in Indonesia after a nine-year old boy was killed last month. Speculation is that the child was killed by blows from someone mimicking wrestling moves after watching the show.

Smackdown

Widespread media coverage and public discussion in that nation has focused on the possibility that the WWE is to blame.Private broadcaster Lativi airs the show in Indonesia and illegal video copies are sold across the world's fourth most populous country. Schoolboys are a leading fanbase.

"It is just proper for these kind of shows to be wisely stopped. It seems as if there are no better shows," Women Empowerment Minister Meutia Hatta said on Elshinta news radio on Wednesday.

"This is not only a problem for parents to deal with. This is about society failing to filter what shows are good for our children," she added.

- Backstage, MVP was icing his head following his match with Kane. Mr. Kennedy walked up and apologized for throwing him into the ring with Kane and Undertaker last week. He said this week is about being thankful and he is going to tell Undertaker how thankful he is.

Kane and MVP Take it to Manchester Streets: Smackdown Results, 11-17-6

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net ...

The Boogeyman def. The Miz & Krystal
- The Miz came down to the ring with Krystal before the start of the taping and his match with the Boogeyman opened the show. There was little reaction from the crowd throughout the match. After about two minutes of nothingness, the Miz left the ring and was counted-out, while the Boogeyman tortured Krystal with the worms for the third week in a row.

Chris Benoit def. Tatanka
- Benoit got a great reception from the crowd, and looked great as always in the ring. Tatanka got a decent amount of offense in, targeting Benoit’s ribs, but he was eventually forced to tap out to the sharpshooter. Benoit picked up the win after about 6-8 minutes or so. Immediately after the match, Chavo ran-in and attacked Benoit, hitting his knee with a steel chair.

- Teddy Long and Bobby Lashley spoke backstage about Lashley’s decision to
answer the open challenge in the Extreme Elimination Chamber at December to Dismember.

William Regal def. Paul London
- As Regal moved out of the way of the charging Paul London, he caused London to inadvertently take out Ashley in what looked like a rough bump. Kendrick came sprinting from backstage to check on her condition, as the match continued. Obviously distracted by the injury to his manager, London got pinned after a boot to the head from Regal.

MVP df Kane in a Street Fight
- The two brawled all around ringside, and all the way up the entrance way. MVP got a cut on his forehead when Kane smashed his head into the glass telephone box on the stage. And after shutting MVP inside, Kane tipped the phone box over!

Brothers of Destruction

MVP took a lot of punishment. Kennedy eventually charged to the ring, and he and MVP double-teamed Kane, taking him down with a shot with the steel steps. With that MVP picked up the win, but continued the assault after the match, until the Undertaker made the save. Kennedy threw the unsuspecting MVP back into the ring, where he got dismantled by the Brothers of Destruction, as Kennedy escaped out of the arena.

Michelle McCool then hosted the Kiss Cam.

Matt Hardy def. Gregory Helms
- This was a quick match, and was a decent standard. But it was nothing we hadn’t seen before in their numerous matches this year. Hardy got a clean win with the Twist of Fate.

Batista & Lashley df Finlay & King Booker
- Booker got great heat for this match, and Batista got the louder pop out of the two babyfaces. After a dominant start by Batista and Lashley, the heels took over, as Bobby played the babyface in peril. Batista cleaned house of the hot tag, and not even an interfering Sharmell could prevent him picking up the pin on Booker following a spinebuster.

King Booker Celebrates, Wrestles: Smackdown Results, 11-10-06

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net ...

King Booker came down to the ring to start the show and cut a promo in celebration of winning the champion of champions match. Theodore Long came down to the ring with camera men and had pictures taken of King Booker and even threw himself in a couple of the shots.

King Booker

Long announced that at Survivor Series it would be Batista vs. King Booker, but tonight we would see King Booker defend the title against Bobby Lashley ... and that match is right now!

1. King Booker defeated Bobby Lashley via pinfall when Sharmell distracted the ref on numerous occassions. This was a pretty back and forth match between them and had some great moments of both being dominant.

Backstage, MVP came into Theodore Long's office. Basically, MVP bitched about the match last week with the Brothers of Destruction and claimed to have been in street fights easier than that. Long announced that next week on Smackdown, it will be MVP vs. Kane in a street fight.

Backstage again, Chris Benoit confonted Chavo and Vickie about the Rey Mysterio situation. It was announced that Chavo would be facing Benoit at Survivor Series for the US title. Benoit made a reference to the Guerrero estate as a possible reason why they had been feuding with Mysterio .Both Chavo and Vickie got stunned looks on their faces when he said this and immediately changed the topic about their match at Survivor Series.

2. Matt Hardy/Jimmy Wang Yang defeated Gregory Helms/Sylvan via Twist of Fate off of the top rope from Hardy to Helms. Lots of great tag team action in this match with all the competitors having great spots. Hardy really had a lot of hot moments at the end one of which he bulldoged Sylvan and Helms just as Helms charged at him.

Mr. Kennedy comes to the ring and cuts a promo about how Survivor Series was the creation of the Undertaker and how there has been almost a decade of destruction; said he would kill the legend of the Undertaker. This prompts the Dead Man to come out.

Mr. Kennedy

As soon as Undertaker gets in the ring, Kennedy attacks him, beating him down with the microphone. At the end, Taker sat up in a pool of his own blood.

3. Chris Benoit defeated KG James via Submission Cripper Crossface

4. Boogeyman defeated Jobber via pinfall
Backstage, Crystal is yelling at Miz for what happened last week. This prompts Miz to challenge Boogeyman to a match next week..

5. Batista defeated Finlay via pinfall
Batista sporting a new buzz look showed some dominance early in the match. Little Bastard made an appearance and caused Batista's leg to get caught in the ropes. This prompted Finlay to work on the leg of Batista and sell it very well. Lots of back and forth action going on in this match with Batista playing the recovering giant as he battled back from his leg being tortured. King Booker ran down and attempted to get involved, but Batista threw Finlay into him, knocking him off of the apron to get the pinfall and win the match.

Rey Mysterio Says Goodbye; Kane, Undertaker Team Up: Smackdown Results, 11-3-06

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net ...

Rey Mysterio comes out to open the show, thanks all the fans for not
quitting on him and says that he plans on returning to the top. Chavo and
Vickie then come out (with the chair used on Rey's knee two weeks ago) and
Chavo demands that Rey say "I Quit" one more time. Rey refuses, so Chavo
asks him to autograph the chair. Rey refuses once again, and Chavo writes "I
Quit" on it, then proceeds to beat Mysterio with the chair.

Chris Benoit comes out to make the save, and Chavo and Vickie hightail it to the back.

Backstage, Teddy Long puts Batista in charge of protecting King Booker and
Queen Sharmell so that Booker would make it to Cyber Sunday in one piece.
These segments went on through the night and were rather pointless.

London/Kendrick defeated KC James and Idol Stevens via pinfall.

Kane and The Undertaker defeated Mr. Kennedy and MVP via pinfall. Kennedy did his usual schtick, stopping to tell the crowd to "Shut up! I do this
part by myself!" (Kennedy was pretty over with the crowd). Teddy Long
restarted this match not once but twice, first to declare no count-outs and
again to make it a no disqualification match.

Kane/Undertaker

The Miz and Krystal defeated Vito and Layla El via pinfall.

Bobby Lashley defeated Jamie Noble via pinfall. Tatanka came out
and issued a challenge to Lashley after the match.

Gregory Helms defeated Jimmy Wang Yang.

As Batista escorted Booker and Sharmell to their limo, random guys tried to
attack, but Batista fended them off with no problem.

Batista came to the ring and called Finlay out, and once he came out, Teddy
Long announced that there would be a match and it would be no
disqualification. Batista pinned Finlay despite interference from the Little
Bastard in a rather short main event.

ECW/WWE News: Smackdown and ECW to Combine House Shows

At least they're being honest about ECW's status compared to that of RAW and Smackdown.

Due to budgetary and attendance concerns, WWE.com has officially announced that starting the day after Christmas, ECW will no longer be holding its own house shows. Instead, the brand will be working combined events with the Smackdown superstars.

Here is a sample from the article WWE.com released about this decision:

"WWE officials have announced that as of Dec. 26, SmackDown Superstars and ECW Extremists will be touring together for live events. Officials say that this is a great opportunity for WWE and ECW fans alike to experience the unparalleled action of both brands combined

Sources say that WWE officials were concerned because the attendance at some of the ECW live events hasn’t been as strong as initially projected."
