Huge Ratings for Anniversary Edition of WWE RAW

Monday night's 15th WWE Raw Anniversary show scored a huge rating. The final two hours of the show drew a 4.4 rating.

While the first hour rating has yet to come in, taking just those two hours into account would give Raw its highest rating of the year.

WWE Results: Monday Night RAW, 12-10-07

Sit back and get comfortable. This is a long WWE Raw report...

- Vince McMahon's music hits and Vince comes out with Shane and Stephanie McMahon. Vince gets on the mic and welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw. He points out this is the longest running primetime series in history. Vince said he thought about having a family reunion tonight. He adds that his wife Linda couldn't be here tonight, but joining him is a former Hardcore and European Champion, Shane McMahon.

And joining him as well, a former Women's Champion, Stephanie McMahon. Vince wants the cameraman for the family portrait when Hornswoggle comes out. Vince points out that all three are waiting for him to die, which gets a laugh from the crowd. He said he loves Shane, Stephanie, Hornswoggle a little bit and even the WWE fans. On the count of three, Vince wants them to smile and say "MONEY." Vince starts the countdown when Triple H's music hits to cut him off.

Triple H said this is supposed to be a family portrait and since the fans are "smart," they already know. He said he is like a son to Vince. Triple H adds, "What's up Steph?" He said since tonight is about family and love, he wants to bring out others that Vince has "loved." Triple H introduces Melina and says hold on, there are more. Vince said he did not have sex with Melina. Triple H says, "Whatever Clinton?" He then introduces Sunny. She is definitely back in shape. Crowd is very quiet for her entrance though. Hornswoggle runs up and hugs Sunny right away. Triple H then introduces someone else Vince knows very well...Mae Young. Mae starts humping Vince when she gets in the ring. Shane, Stephanie and Hornswoggle all confront Vince about having "relations" with Mae Young. Vince admits it was at Moolah's funeral and that he had way too much to drink.

He adds all he had to do was dust the cobwebs off. Shane leaves in disgust. Vince then tells Stephanie he was drunk and that he was thinking of mom the whole time. Triple H then introduced anyone Vince attempted to make love to. Out comes Howard Finkel, Pat Patterson (Triple H said this one didn't surprise him), Bastion Booger, Gerald Brisco, Big Dick Johnson and Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz (aka the Brooklyn Brawler). Stephanie gets on the mic and said Vince has embarassed her enough and now it was time for her to embarass him. Stephanie then kisses Triple H. Vince said he hates Triple H and everyone else can go straight to hell. Triple H then consoles a disappointed Hornswoggle.

He said he knows he is upset and wondered if someone in the back could cheer him up by just the sounds of his music. The Godfather's music hits and he comes out with the HO TRAIN. Jim Ross adds that even Pat Patterson is smiling. Hornswoggle gets excited and starts hugging Triple H. They all celebrate. The crowd is absolutly dead for The Godfather's entrance.

6033940.jpeg WWE Intercontinenal Championship - Ladder Match: Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Carlito
Match kicks off with Carlito rolling out of the ring and hitting Jeff Hardy with a ladder when Hardy charged at him through the ropes. Hardy pulls Carlito off the ladder he setup in the ring, but gets taken down with a clothesline. Hardy launches the ladder into Carlito from the corner. They brawl to the outside and Carlito pushes the ladder into the gut of Hardy against the ring barricade. The ladder is still up against the barricade and Hardy catches Carlito with a dropkick from the ring apron, sending Carlito flying back into the ladder. Hardy sets up another ladder, climbs, Carlito springboards off the top rope, lands on the ladder and takes out Hardy with a huge sunset flip off the top of the ladder as we head to a commercial break.

Back live and Hardy misses a leg drop attempt on Carlito. Carlito brings another ladder in and slams it over the leg of Hardy. Carlito works more on the leg of Hardy and sets up a ladder under the IC title. Hardy works on the back of Carlito to prevent him from climbing up. Carlito jumps down and goes back to work on Hardy's leg. Carlito sets up a ladder in the corner, but Hardy gives him a huge back body drop right on top of the ladder.

Hardy, who is limping on his bad leg, goes up and connects with the Swanton Bomb on Carlito. Hardy setup another ladder, climbed up, Carlito pushed the ladder over, Hardy lands on his feet, Hardy attempts the Twist of Fate over the ladder, but Carlito counters into a backstabber over the ladder. Carlito is up first on the ladder, gets a hand on the IC title, Hardy pushes him off and Carlito falls to the ring. Hardy reaches up and gets the title to get the win.
Winner & STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: Jeff Hardy

- Back live and Santino Marella is in the ring. Santino said he is sick to his stomach about the nostalgia tonight and wants to know when the show is going to start honoring the "future" of Monday Night Raw. Santino then gets cut off by Rob Van Dam's music. No one comes out for a few seconds...but then there he is! RVD is back.

Santino Marella vs. Rob Van Dam
Huge reaction for RVD in Bridgeport. This one didn't last very long as RVD took out Santino with a big kick followed by the Five Star Frog Splash. He turned to the crowd and did the R-V-D pose, covered Santino and got the pinfall.
Winner: Rob Van Dam

- A video package airs looking back at the history of EVolution (Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton). Coming up next, we get to see the reunion of Evolution.

- Back live, Lilian Garcia introduces Evolution. Out first is Ric Flair sporting an old Evolution t-shirt. Out next is Triple H sporting another Evolution t-shirt. World Heavyweight Champion Batista is out next sporting the same Evolution t-shirt as well. Well we got the three babyfaces and out last is WWE Champion Randy Orton sans-Evolution t-shirt. Orton has a mic in hand and said he didn't come out here to join them. He reminds them he is the WWE Champion and the only reason they want him down there is so they can ride off his current wave of success. Orton pointed out the last time he was champion and was in the ring with them, he was attacked. Flashback to August 2004 when Orton defeated Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Title and was attacked the night afterwards on Raw by Evolution.

Back live, Triple H says he does remember that and thought it was pretty cool. He said if it makes him feel any better, they beat him up because he was a pain in the ass and not because he was World Champion. Orton said he would keep that in mind this Sunday when he beats Chris Jericho to retain the WWE Title. Orton then brings up his past with Rated RKO and introduces Edge. Edge comes out and he shakes hands with Orton. Edge said another funny thing is, Batista won't be walking away World Champion this Sunday at Armageddon.

Ric Flair cuts everyone off and tells them to shut up. He said they were supposed to compete tonight and asks where their partner is. Orton introduces Umaga. Randy Orton, Edge and Umaga vs. Triple H, Batista and Ric Flair is up next.

WWE Champion Randy Orton, Edge & Umaga vs. World Heavyweight Champion Batista, Triple H & Ric Flair
Back live and Batist has Orton in the corner as he tags in Ric Flair. Orton tags in Edge and Flair lets out a "WOOOOO." Edge lands a few rights on Flair in the corner. Flair catches Edge with a few chops, but Edge comes back with a big back body drop on Flair. Umaga gets the tag and he lands a few rights on Flair. Umaga starts pinching the nerve in Flair's shoulder to keep him grounded. Orton gets the tag and he goes to work on Flair with some big kicks. Another big back body drop on Flair from Orton. Flair dodges a dropkick attempt from Orton by holding onto the ropes. Batista gets the tag and he goes right after Orton.

Batista takes out Orton with a clothesline, knocks Umaga off the ring apron and tosses Edge in the ring catching him with a big sidewalk slam. Batista and Triple H hit double-spinebusters on Edge and Orton. Umaga comes in going after Triple H and Batista, but takes out the referee. The referee then calls for the bell.

After the match, Flair goes after Umaga with some chops. Umaga looks to give Flair the big thumb to the throat. Batista breaks it up. Flair low blows Umaga and Triple H finishes off Umaga with Pedigree. The Evolution music hits as Flair, Triple H and Batista celebrate. We see a shot backstage of Jeff Hardy looking at what just went down on a TV.

Hornswoggle vs. The Great Khali

The bell rings and Hornswoggle tries to avoid Khali by running under his legs. Khali gets Hornswoggle and as this goes down... Hulk Hogan's music hits.

Hogan is sporting the old black and white attire. Hogan gets in the ring and stares down Khali. Hogan starts hulking up, blocks a right hand from Khali, but Khali catches him with a kick to the gut and a few shots over the back. Hogan starts hulking up, catches Khali with right hands, goes off the ropes and takes out Khali with another big right. Khali rolls out of the ring and Hogan calls him back in.

Hogan poses to the crowd that he could lift up Khali and slam him. Hogan shakes hands with Hornswoggle and then gets up on the ropes yelling at Khali who is leaving the ringside area. Hornswoggle is clapping for Hogan as Hogan grabs a mic.

Hogan says it sounds to him that Hulkamania is still alive and well...brothers. He said he wants to thank everyone for keeping the dream alive and congratulates WWE for tonight's Anniversary and calls WWE the greatest wrestling company of all time. Hogan said there is nothing like being in this very ring and watching the brand new stars of WWE do their thing. He said he was proud to be invited here tonight. Hogan said he misses the fans and never say never (when he said the last part, he added in a Randy Savage "OH YEAH" impression). He plugs his involvement with American Gladiators and asks to hear it one more time from the fans. Hogan and Hornswoggle celebrate some more. REALLY lame mic segment.

- Back live, Howard Finkel introduces the 15th Anniversary 15 Man Battle Royal featuring superstars from the past 15 years. Wrestlers include: Al Snow, Bart Gunn, Doink the Clown, Repo Man, Steve Blackman, Pete Gas and Bob Backlund. They go to commercial before we can see who else is involved.

WWE RAW Preview: Three-Hour 15th Anniversary Special

The following was released by WWE.com:

It will be a night of celebration as Monday Night Raw celebrates its 15th anniversary with a three-hour spectacular.

6011810.jpegA host of WWE legends and alumni have been invited to honor the most groundbreaking show in sports-entertainment: Hulk Hogan, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Eric Bischoff, Sunny, Trish Stratus and Lita are just a few on the list of invitees.

Many of these Superstars have one thing in common: They all have had heated wars with Mr. McMahon. The Chairman’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon, has warned her father not to show up at the anniversary celebration because she fears his many enemies may be gunning for him.

But Mr. McMahon will not be deterred, as he is determined to name the greatest Superstar in Raw’s history. Who will be named Raw’s greatest Superstar? You have to tune in to Raw’s special 15th anniversary celebration to find out.

However, Mr. McMahon will have more than his enemies on his mind. Tonight, his entire family, including his illegitimate son, Hornswoggle, will be posing for a family portrait. How will all the members of the McMahon clan react to the little leprechaun in their first public appearance as a complete unit?

Armageddon is less than one week away and the rivalry between Chris Jericho and Randy Orton is heating up as their WWE Championship Match approaches. What will these two do to try to get an advantage before Armageddon?

And what about Triple H and Jeff Hardy? Their match at Armageddon will determine who will challenge for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble. These two dynamic Superstars have mutual respect for one another, but will that fade as Armageddon approaches? Either way, the challenges won't stop for the "Rainbow-haired Warrior." As seen first in an exclusive video on WWE Mobile at AT&T, Carlito will challenge Hardy in a Ladder Match on the 15th Anniversary Celebration of Raw.

Raw's 15th anniversary celebration will also include some surprise reunions - like the reunion of Evolution. WWE Champion Randy Orton, World Heavyweight Champion Batista, Triple H and Ric Flair have all walked separate paths since their days as a unit. How will they react to their reunion, especially with a egomaniac like Orton involved?

Major WWE Stars Lined Up for RAW

In a backstage segment on Raw last night, it was announced that Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Eric Bischoff, Mick Foley and Trish Stratus would be appearing on next week's three-hour show.

Moreover, the entire McMahon family will be doing a family portrait with Hornswoggle on next week's show. We guess that's exciting news.

Break the Walls Down" hits and we are live as Chris Jericho comes out and comes down to the ring to a massive pop from the crowd. Jericho grabs the mic and welcomes us to Raw is Jericho. He says he has one goal, and that's to become the new WWE champ. Jericho said he couldn't get a title match by beating Santino, or just asking for it, but he had to get under Orton's skin.

He manipulated Orton and he got his title shot at Armageddon, that he found out through WWE Mobile. We get a recap of what happened off the air last week, with Orton accepting Jericho's challenge. Randy asks Jericho who's going to save him from the worst beatdown of his life. Jericho, back live, says to tell everyone - text all your friends- and let them know that Y2J will be the new world champion.

y2j.jpg

Orton's music hits, and he comes down to the ring to face off with Jericho. Orton grabs a mic and says that everything is always about Jericho. He thinks he got under Randy's skin, but Orton's not giving him a title shot for that - he's giving him a title shot because he can beat Jericho, like he beat HBK and Cena. Y2J says he used to brag about beating Stone Cold and the Rock, but that means nothing now. Jericho says he's been watching Randy, and he's grown into being the best in the world, but he's also devious, violent, and vicious. Jericho says he is all of that too, and he'll beat him at Armageddon.

Orton says since we're being honest, he doesn't like Jericho one bit, and if he wanted to, he'd wipe the smirk off Y2J's face without breaking a sweat. Jericho gets ready to fight, but Regal's music interrupts. He says he doesn't want the main event for Armageddon yet. No, tonight, Orton and Jericho get to choose each other's opponents tonight. After being asked, Orton tells Jericho he's facing someone he's never faced before: Umaga. Jericho goes the opposite route, and goes with someone Orton has faced many times before. Jericho picks Shawn Michaels!

Maria and Mickie James v. Melina and Beth Phoenix

Melina and Maria start off, with Maria counter a clothesline with a drop toe hold, and going for a pin. Melina kicks out, and takes down Maria. After a few hard shots, Melina tags in Beth, who powers Maria into her own corner. Maria tags in Mickie. Mickie and Beth go toe to toe, with Mickie coming out the winner. Mickie gets on the top rope, kicks away Melina, who tried to interfere, and gets pulled to the mat by Beth. Beth goes on the offense, and beats Mickie down, before hitting the delayed fisherman's suplex. Beth covers, and this one is over.
Winners: Beth Phoenix and Melina

Kennedy's music hits, and the best thing to come out of Green Bay not named Favre comes down to the ring and grabs the mic. He says Shawn will want to watch this, as he's gone ahead and invited three of his closest friends and rivals to have a discussion. Kennedy wants to know more about Shawn. First, he calls out Shawn's old partner... Marty Jannetty! (It is obviously NOT Marty Jannetty. It's an imposter in a bad wig.) Next, Kennedy calls out Shawn's opponent in the greatest ladder match of all time, Razor Ramon! (Again, an imposter.) The Razor impersonator says "Hey Yo." Kennedy thanks him for showing up tonight. (ouch!) Next is Big Daddy Cool Diesel!

Kennedy says the panel is just great, but it feels like it's missing something. It would be incomplete without the man himself. Kennedy calls out Shawn Michaels, and another imposter comes out. Kennedy says he's going down the line with one word that summarizes their feelings about HBK. Diesel says "Egotistical," Razor says "Chump," and Marty says "traitor." Kennedy agrees wholeheartedly, and says that his one word is "Loser." He looks at the fake HBK and says after Armageddon, he better think of a new profession.

HBK's music hits, and the REAL Shawn comes to the ring. Kennedy rolls out of the ring, and HBK delivers three superkicks. Kennedy jumps back in the ring, but dives out once Shawn sees him. HBK stares down fake HBK, and fake HBK takes off running. HBK and Kennedy stare at each other as Shawn's music plays into the commercial break.

In the back, Vince is talking on the phone, and says next week that Hulk Hogan will be headlining, with Trish Stratus, Mick Foley, Eric Bischoff, and Stone Cold Steve Austin! Hornswoggle shows up, and Vince pulls him up and says they need to have a conversation. He says that next week is the first full McMahon family portrait. Now, about the tough love stuff, Hornswoggle has been lucky lately. Finlay isn't here tonight, so Hornswoggle has a handicap match against Carlito and Coach. As a McMahon, Hornswoggle better be resourceful. Hornswoggle picks up his cell phone and calls someone.

In the back, Triple H and Regal are talking. HHH asks what Regal's ulterior motive is. Regal says both were Survivors, both are champions, and so it made perfect sense... with the winner getting a WWE Title match at the Royal Rumble! Regal says the Game's whole career has been about hating his enemies, and turning that hate into dominance. The problem is, HHH doesn't hate Jeff Hardy, he respects him. Triple H says maybe he doesn't hate Jeff Hardy, but when it comes to being WWE Champion, he'd pedigree his own mother, grandmother, and even his father-in-law.

Umaga v. Chris Jericho
We come back and both men are brawling outside of the ring. They get back in, and Jericho has the advantage with an armlock that allows Jericho to deliver elbows to Umaga's jaw. Umaga powers out by flipping Jericho over, but Jericho gets up and walks right into Umaga picking Jericho up like a back body drop, put walking forward and throwing Jericho feet first out of the ring. Jericho gets back in the ring and takes a short clothesline followed by a big splash. Umaga starts kicking Jericho, and then punching him everytime Jericho tries to get up. Umaga locks on his shoulder nerve-hold.

Jericho powers out by tripping Umaga and sending him into the corner. Jericho charges into the corner, but gets caught with a kick by Umaga. Umaga punches Jericho a few times, and throws him into another turnbuckle. Umaga beats down Jericho until he's sitting in the corner. Umaga goes for the wrecking ball, but misses it. Jericho jumps on the top rope and hits a flying shoulder block to the back of Umaga's head sending both men down. The ref starts counting, and both men are up by 7. Jericho delivers some slaps, an enziguiri, a bulldog, and a lionsault! Jericho gets a 2 count.

WWE RAW Preview: Can Ric Flair Survive?

Here's the latest Monday Night RAW preview, courtesy of WWE.com:

When Raw rolls into North Charleston, S.C., don’t expect Randy Orton to shower his fellow Superstars with Southern hospitality. The WWE Champion was humiliated last Monday when he lost to Ric Flair, thanks to a well-timed distraction by Chris Jericho.

5946794.jpeg Good thing for the Nature Boy, too, since Mr. McMahon has issued the ultimatum that if he loses, he’s forced to retire.

Since Flair’s next match could be his last, don’t expect “Naitch” to go quietly. But how much longer can he survive?

Also, when Raw GM William Regal yanked the rug out from under the tag team of Jeff Hardy and Triple H and pitted them against each other at Armageddon, The Game made it clear that he’s only looking out for himself.

This leaves the “Rainbow-haired Warrior” in the unenviable position of being in the crosshairs of The Game. How will the high-flyer handle the pressure? Will he soar to overcome the 11-time Champion, or will he crash and burn?

And with Mr. Kennedy poking Shawn Michaels at every turn, can a foot-to-jaw reunion be far behind? The loudmouth insists on antagonizing HBK, and believes The Showstopper’s time has come and gone in WWE. What will be the next chapter in this ever-escalating rivalry as Armageddon approaches?

WWE RAW Notes: Rating, Carlito/Chris Jericho

  • Monday’s edition of WWE RAW scored a 3.5 cable rating, which is consistent with previous few weeks. The show did hours of 3.41 and 3.67.
  • Carlito has been removed from RAW’s opening intro video. He has been replaced with the returning Chris Jericho.

Triple H and Jeff Hardy v. Snitsky and Umaga
Jeff Hardy starts off against Snitsky, and is quickly overpowered by the monster. He tags in HHH, who locks up with Snitsky, and cheap shots HHH with a shoulderblock in the corner while the ref asked him to break the hold. HHH gets the upper hand, tags in Hardy, and Hardy takes the advantage, only to get knocked down quickly by Snitsky. Hardy hits a baseball slide on Snitsky out of the ring, pulls the top rope down so a charging Umaga goes over the top, and hits a plancha over the top rope on both men. HHH then dives off of the apron on to all three men, and Raw heads to commercial with the good guys on top...

Hardy has the advantage when we come back, but he runs right into a sidewalk slam. Umaga tags in Snitsky, who picks up Jeff and delivers a big suplex and gets a 2 count. Snitsky with a double underhook front-facelock, but Hardy powers out, only to come off the ropes and catch an elbow from the big Ugly. Umaga is tagged in, and he goes to work on Hardy, delivering big kicks to Jeff's chest, followed by a spinning heel kick which gets a 2 count.

Umaga tags in Snitsky, who goes for a pumphandle slam, but Hardy gets out of it and delivers a dropkick to Snitsky's back. Jeff hits a mulekick and tags in HHH while Snitsky tags in Umaga. HHH takes it to Umaga with a big clothesline, but only gets a one count. Triple H hits a facebuster, followed by a spinebuster. He goes for the pedigree, but Snitsky interferes. Snitsky nearly gets pedigreed, but Umaga hits him. Snitsky and HHH brawl to the outside while Jeff and Umaga fight in the ring. Umaga puts Jeff in a corner, but misses a wrecking ball when HHH pulls him away. Jeff hits the Whispers in the wind, HHH hits the pedigree, and Jeff hits the Swanton for the win!
Winners: HHH and Jeff Hardy

flair.jpg The music hits, and the Nature Boy comes out for what may be the final time.

Ric Flair picks up the mic and says "Thank You." Flair says there has been a lot of discussion as to why he chose his hometown of Charlotte to make this announcement. Flair says it's because they've been so good to him, as has every city he's competed in all over the world. There's a reason he hasn't been on Raw for 6 months, and thats because his wrestling career can't go on forever. He knows that sooner or later, he'll have to retire. He compares himself to Cal Ripken, Jr, and Brett Favre. Tonight, in front of the world, Ric Flair announces that he will NEVER retire! He will only retire when he's dead in the ring. He's got too much juice left, and he's still the Nature Boy! He loves the business, and he's going nowhere.

Vince McMahon's music hits, and the Chairman hits the ring. Vince says Flair had him going for a bit there. Vince is very happy because he's a good piece of property, and he hopes he goes on forever - so long as he keeps on winning. Vince says it's true: the first match Flair loses, his career is over. Whether it's via countout, submission, pinfall, or anything, the next time Flair loses, he must retire. Vince wishes him luck, and tells him he hopes he doesn't die anytime soon.

Randy Orton's music hits, and the Champ comes out, walking towards the ring. Orton says he came out here to thank Flair for all of the advice he gave him early in his career. Orton wants to thank Flair in advance, for the pleasure of ending his career tonight. VKM says Randy Orton versus Ric Flair, tonight.

Hardcore Holly, Cody Rhodes, Jim Duggan and Super Crazy v. Cade, Murdoch, and the Highlanders
Super Crazy starts off against Rory, and gets the upper hand early. SC tags in Duggan, who works on Rory's arm. Duggan tags in Rhodes, but Rory hits a headbutt and tags in Cade. Cade tosses Rhodes shoulder first into the turnbuckle and pounds away on young Cody. Murdoch in now, and he gives Rhodes a snapmare and an armlock. Cody powers out of it, puts Murdoch into the ring post, and tags in Holly. Murdoch gets the tag into Robbie, but Holly takes advantage with a series of clotheslines. A big dropkick by Holly gets a 2 count, and it is interrupted with all men hitting the ring. Holly and Robbie are left in the ring, with Holly hitting the Alabama Slam for the win!
Winners: Holly, Rhodes, Duggan, and Crazy

The countdown starts, and Y2J's music hits. Chris Jericho comes out to a massive pop. He hits the ring and grabs a mic. He says that the second coming of Y2J is here, and there's only one way to rock, and Jericho rocks. He says there's only one reason he came back, and that is to save us from Randy Orton, and become the new WWE champion. He says everyone knows Y2J wants a title match, except Orton. He says that he's been waiting for an answer, but Randy hasn't given it yet.

Monday Night Raw Preview: Ric Flair Returns

Here is the official WWE.com preview for tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW:

Ric Flair will be on Raw in his hometown of Charlotte, N.C. “The Nature Boy” always shines brightest in front of his home crowd, and Monday should be no exception. What will Flair have to say? What will he have in store for the Superstars of Raw when he rides that limousine into Charlotte this week on Raw?

5902762.jpeg Triple H & Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy survived the odds at Survivor Series, and now the two will look to ride that wave of success into their tag team encounter this week on Raw. After Snitsky & Umaga attempted to double team Hardy, the duo’s plans were sidelined by The Game, who lent a hand to Hardy and chased off the two dominant Superstars.

Will the budding friendship between The Game and the “Rainbow-haired Warrior” lead to another victory for the two or will the Samoan Bulldozer and Snitsky run them over?

Our fans and all of sports-entertainment were shocked when the code that has been prevalent over the past few months was revealed to be masterminded by a returning Chris Jericho. Y2J’s second coming to WWE on Raw was not just mind-blowing, it also ruined WWE Champion Randy Orton’s Passing of the Torch Ceremony.

How will Orton react to Jericho interrupting the public observance of his victory at Survivor Series? And now that Chris Jericho has come to “Save Us” – will Raw ever be the same … again?

WWE Results: Monday Night RAW, 11-19-07

After the credits, Shawn Michaels' music hits to a massive pop. Shawn comes down to the ring and grabs a mic. HBK says no excuses, the better man won last night. The reason he's out here is that he wants to invite Randy Orton to the ring so that he can shake his hand. Orton appears on the jumbotron. He's battered and bruised, and says its a result of another superkick. He's not coming to the ring. HBK says "you got me, if you came down here I was gonna kick you again, but if it makes you feel better, I was going to wait until after I challenged you to a rematch."

Orton tells Shawn that he's not getting his rematch, as he already proved he's the better man over HBK, Triple H, and John Cena.

Kennedy's music hits, and Mr. Kennedy comes to the ring. As soon as the mic comes down, Michaels hits Kennedy and clotheslines him out of the ring. Kennedy pulls Michaels out of the ring and begins punching him, irish whipping him into the ringpost. Kennedy gets back in the ring and says HBK has had his shot, and its his turn. Shawn attacks him again, pulling him out of the ring and clotheslining him. Shawn tells Kennedy to cry him a river, he just got his chance at the Showstopper, right here, right now. Kennedy tells Shawn that nicknames are given, not chosen, so he can stop calling himself the Showstopper. Kennedy says Shawn is known for losing all the time; he's a loser.

raw1.jpg Kennedy vs. Shawn Michaels
We come back to see Kennedy and Michaels fighting on the outside, and we find out that the bell has yet to sound. The ref is standing there, unable to ring the bell until they get in the ring. The two men are brawling, and eventually make their way into the crowd. Kennedy slams Michaels hard back over the security wall to the ringside area. HBK slams Kennedy into the announce table, and this is totally out of control. HBK gets into the ring, and Kennedy grabs a chair and goes to follow. As Kennedy gets on the ring apron, HBK lands Sweet Chin Music, planting the chair into Kennedy's face. This fight has ended with HBK standing tall.
Winner: Shawn Michaels

Santino Marella vs. Jerry "the King" Lawler
After talking some trash to each other, King hits a dropkick which dazes Marella and sends him running away. They lock up, and King puts Marella into the corner, which is then reversed by Santino, who irish whips King into the other corner and hits him with a shoulder. King grabs Santino, hits a few punches, and throws him into the opposite turnbuckle, but misses a tackle and hits the ring post. Santino takes control, hitting an armbar takedown and a flying headbutt to Lawler's back. Marella gets out of the ring, puts on Jerry's crown, and starts making fun of JR and Lawler. Lawler responds by smacking him, putting him into the ropes and hitting an armdrag takedown. Marella begins begging Lawler, only to put King into the rope and attempting an armdrag takedown. Jerry reverses this into a backslide and gets the pin!
Winner: Jerry Lawler

Orton comes out of nowhere and puts King out with an RKO out of nowhere. Orton says he's sorry. Tonight, Orton says, he'll have a "Passing of the Torch" ceremony.

Grisham is in the back talking with Kennedy. Kennedy says all he did was go out there to show HBK some respect, but Shawn Michaels decided to superkick a chair into his face. He asks Shawn why he would do that? Kennedy says it's because HBK sees his career evaporating, and is doing everything he can to hold Kennedy down. He says that won't happen, because Father Time is catching up with Shawn, but next time HBK won't have to worry about Father Time, only Mr. Kennedy. VERY strong, intense promo by Kennedy.

Jeff Hardy v. Umaga
Jeff Hardy starts off trying to hit Umaga, but Umaga's not phased. Jeff stays out of Umaga's way until both men end up outside. Umaga hits him a few times, but when they get back in the ring, Hardy hits a low dropkick, and a sunset flip. Hardy hits a running elbow, but when he tries again, Umaga throws his shoulder into Hardy. Umaga starts stomping away on Jeff, and picks him up by the hair. Jeff starts hitting back, but gets caught with a big back elbow by the Samoan Bulldozer. Umaga locks in a shoulder nerve hold, and Jeff is fading fast. Jeff struggles back to his feet, but Umaga grabs the hair and yanks Hardy back down, locking in the nerve hold once again. The crowd gets behind Hardy as he gets back to his feet again. Umaga puts Hardy in the corner, but misses a shouldersmash. Hardy capitalizes with a DDT and heads to climb the ropes. Umaga pushes Hardy off the apron to the outside as we go to commercial...

We're back, and Umaga once again has the nerve hold on Hardy. come...on... Jeff Hardy gets back to his feet, goes for a bodyslam and actually picks him up, but Umaga falls back on him and gets a 2 count. Umaga locks in the nerve hold AGAIN. Jeff gets up and starts reaches for the ropes but can't reach them. Hardy to his feet again, hits the ropes, and is caught by Umaga in a back body drop. Umaga hits a big leg drop and a body splash, but still only manages a two count. Umaga picks Hardy up and hits two kicks to the stomach and spinning heel kick, getting only a two count again.
