WWE Divas Battle Royal: WWE Raw Results, 5-28-07

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net...

Memorial Day Bikini Battle Royal
We have Kelly Kelly, Brooke, Kayla, Candice Michelle, Mickie James, Maria, Jillian Hall, Michelle McCool, Kristal, and Melina. Everyone starts fighting with beach toys, water balloons, water guns, and water balloons. They must be thrown to the floor to be eliminated. The crowd hates this. They're not the only one. I can't really tell you whats going on, because it's chaos - like a Picasso of silicone, hair dye, and collagen. Brooke is eliminated, followed by Maria. Layla is eliminated next, but I get the Divas confused, so I'm not sure who is eliminating who, especially with their make-up running from the water, it's hard to recognize them. Mickie James is eliminated next, when Jillian Hall eliminated Candice Michelle. After a two on one from Jillian and Melina on McCool, Jillian Hall was eliminated by McCool, and now it's McCool and Melina. Melina is beating McCool six ways from Sunday. Melina tries to dump McCool over the top rope, but McCool gets out of it, dropkicks Melina, and sends Melina out of the ring to win the battle royal.
Your Winner: Michelle McCool

After a break, Shane McMahon's music hits and he comes out with a mic in hand. He says that today is the start of summer. He says he's excited about his announcement, and that in two weeks time there will be the first ever tri-brand draft, and that no one is exempt. He says that this sunday at One Night Stand, Vince will beat Lashley and retain the ECW title. Speaking of Lashley, Shane says he will beat Lashley tonight as Lashley teams with John Cena to face Umaga, the Great Khali, and Shane himself. He says that Lashley will know why they call Shane "The Money." Shane does his little dance, and we go to a commercial.

8 Man Tag Match: The Hardys and Cade and Murdoch vs. WGTT, Kenny, and Nitro
Nitro and Cade start off. Cade takes control with a shoulder block, and tags in Murdoch. Murdoch works over Nitro, and tags into Matt Hardy. Nitro manages to work Matt into the corner, and makes the tag to Shelton Benjamin. Matt manages to get Benjamin into the corner and tags in Jeff. They double team Benjamin, and Jeff tags in Matt again for a double axe handle off the middle rope. Matt works over Benjamin, but Benjamin tags in Haas. Haas gets taken to the woodshed by a flurry of quick tags involving Cade, Jeff, and Matt once again. Haas finally gets to Benjamin, who gets the offensive over Matt, and tags back in Haas. Haas is then beat down by Matt, who tags in Jeff, who hits a "poetry in motion" big splash on Haas in the corner. The Hardys are in the ring, and WGTT are on the outside recuperating.

As WGTT regroups, Murdoch gets on the top rope and splashes both of them on the outside. Whoa. We go to commercial as WGTT is knocked out and the Hardys are still in the ring. We are back with Haas over Murdoch, when Murdoch tags in Jeff. Haas is hit with a "Whisper in the wind" but Shelton cheap shots Jeff, putting Haas back in control. Haas tags in Benjamin who goes to work on Jeff. Shelton tags in Kenny, who nails Jeff with a fist off the top rope. Kenny with a two count, and tags in Nitro, only to slingshot Jeff into Nitro's waiting fist. Jeff is held by Kenny while Nitro nails Jeff with a leg drop over the top rope. Shelton is tagged in, catching Jeff with a spinning wheelkick. Benjamin locks in a sleeper, as Jeff struggles to stay in the match. Benjamin tags in Haas, who hits a belly to belly, and another near fall.

Haas now locks in the sleeperhold. Jeff fights back, only to get his hair pulled and slammed back into the mat. Kenny is tagged in now and gets a two-count. Frustrated, Kenny stomps Jeff and puts him in a chinlock. Jeff fights out of the chinlock, and hits Kenny with a drop-lariat. Jeff jumps for the hot tag to Matt Hardy, who slams Kenny with a clothesline into a bulldog. Matt gets a two count. Nitro interferes, and Matt hits a bulldog and scorpion deathdrop on both Nitro and Kenny. We now have Bedlam! All men are in the ring, but eventually Matt hits the twist of fate on Kenny, and Jeff nails the swanton for the win.
Your Winners: Hardys and Redneck Wrecking Crew

After the match, WGTT challenges the Hardys to a title match at One-Night-Stand. Hardys accept, but make it a ladder match! That should be pretty awesome with these talents mixing it up.

We come back to Grisham speaking with Cena in the back. Grisham asks Cena if he's scared of Khali. Cena says he has no friends, only his word, and he never goes back on his word. He is not afraid of the Great Khali. Cena imitates Khali, which is hilarious. He says that he's not deaf, nor invincible, and he hears what people are saying. They doubt whether he can do the impossible. He says yes, he did make Khali tap, but there was doubt whether he won or lost. He says at One Night Stand, all the critics and doubters will be silenced, as he will beat Khali from the ring to the crowd to the beer stand down the street. He gives us his word; he can, and will, beat Khali.

Maria is in the back with Santino Marella. Maria asks Marella about the draft, and Marella says as long as he is here, and he is Champion, he is happy. Maria asks if his accent is Italian. Marella says no, Jersey. Then he says he's joking, and leaves. After Marella leaves, Randy Orton shows up. Apparently RVD got on WWE.com and trashed Orton, which led to the match tonight. Orton said taking HBK out was the second best moment of his career, second only to winning the belt. Orton said he respected HBK, but he doesn't respect RVD. Orton says he will enjoy what he will do to RVD.

Randy Orton Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam
Orton is pretty banged up - it looks like a cat attacked his right shoulder. The two men stare down, the bell rings, and they lock up. Orton gets behind RVD, but RVD reverses, and gets behind Orton. Orton reverses again, into a headlock on RVD. RVD tries to power out but is locked in the hold. RVD finally reverses into a hammerlock, but is met with elbows by Orton. Orton attempts to hiptoss RVD, but RVD blocks, and throws an armdrag takedown onto RVD. The crowd is chanting "TNA" audibly. RVD comes back, getting several near falls via rollup on Orton. Orton slides out of the ring, as RVD looks on. Orton gets back into the ring and cheapshots RVD in the gut with a knee. RVD puts Orton into the corner and hits his leg flip, but when RVD comes off the ropes, Orton catches him with another knee. Orton pounds RVD into the turnbuckles, and the two exchange blows. Orton whips RVD into the ropes, but RVD catches Orton with a spinning heel kick. RVD goes for the rolling thunder, but Orton rolls out of the ring. Both men out now, when Orton puts RVD back into the ring. Orton into the corner, but he leapfrogs a charging RVD. RVD catches himself, and goes for a moonsault, but Orton hits RVD with a dropkick that sends him from the top rope onto the outside guardrail. The match goes to a commercial as RVD is groggy, and Orton stands in the ring...Continue Reading...

Monday Night Raw Special Planned

The June 11th edition of WWE’s Monday Night RAW is scheduled to run for three hours.

More-than-likely this will be the “Night of Champions” special that Vince McMahon mentioned during the WWE Stock Shareholders meeting a few weeks ago. If so, each match will be a championship bout.

Lashley Runs the Gauntlet: WWE Raw Results, 5-21-07

The following report is courtesy of wrestleview.com...

Vince’s music hit and he came out to the ramp with Shane and Umaga. Vince asked Lashley if he wanted a match tonight. Vince said the answer was no. He said Lashley had his obligatory return match and he didn’t get the job done. Vince said he’d defend his title at the One Night Stand pay per view. He said he would defend his belt in a street fight. He said he would be defending the belt against the Blue Meanie. Lashley asked him why he wasn’t defending against him.

The crowd chanted ‘you suck’ at Vince while he tried to respond. Vince told him to face facts, that there was no chance in hell of that happening. Shane interrupted and said he should realize who he was talking to. He said no one defeats his father in a street fight, in fact, he was inVINCEable. He put over all the people he had beaten in no rules matches; Triple H, Ken Shamrock, himself and even his sister Stephanie. He said if it was a street fight he wanted, it was a street fight he got and he was on. Vince didn’t look like he was too excited about it all.

Vince said the match was on, but there would be a stipulation. Vince said Lashley would have to beat every one of his opponents and he would have to run the gauntlet. Vince put his belt around his waist and stared down Lashley.

Ric Flair v. Carlito
Carlito jumped at Ric Flair but got caught with a ton of Flair chops. Flair hit a snap mare and planted a mean foot into Carlito’s neck. Carlito shot up rather quickly and back dropped Flair to the mat before putting a plethora of boots to the Nature Boys’ face. Carlito choked out Flair on the mat before going to the arm he was working on last night.

Carlito wrenched in the hammer lock deep on Flair before oozing over Flair’s body and slapping on a cross arm breaker. The hold almost earned him a few near falls before Flair inched into the ropes to break the hold. Carlito went to drag Flair to the middle of the ring before Flair kicked him back. The two exchanged some strikes before Flair avoided the springboard back elbow. The two tussled around until they ended up spilling over the top rope and hit the floor. The referee counted away while the two brawled on the floor. The ref reached the count of ten and this one’s over.
Winner: DOUBLE COUNT OUT

After the match, Carlito hit two back crackers on the outside before taking a nice big bite of the apple and spitting it all over Flair’s face.

WWE DivasMelina v. Candice Michelle
Melina jumped Candice Michelle and really did a pearl harbor job on her early in the match. She choked Candice out in between the ropes before finally getting some fire. She hit a nasty looking back breaker and connected with a super stiff kick to Melina’s face. Melina tried to keep her distance but Candice was all over her like a pit-bull, yanking her hard off the ropes.

The end of the match came when Candice connected with a hard Irish whip to the corner. Melina managed to get a foot up but got dumped on her head with a northern lights suplex out of nowhere for the pin fall.
Winner: Candice Michelle via pin fall

Chris Masters v. Bobby Lashley
Masters came down to the ring and immediately went to work on Lashley’s arm, whipping him arm-first into the buckles and looking for a half nelson. Lashley fought back but was cut off by the brawny Masters with a forearm before he went to lock in the master lock on Lashley.

Masters clamped on the hold and Lashley fought hard to break the hold. Lashley barely made it to the ropes to break the hold. The two exchanged punches off the ropes before Lashley hit a clothesline and a big back body drop to get back into the thick of things. Lashley hit a scoop power slam for a two count before bullying Masters into the corner for some shoulder thrusts.

Masters fought Lashley off and whipped him, but Lashley came ripping off the buckles unphazed and nailed Masters with a spear. Great short match.
Winner: Bobby Lashley via pin fall

The Hardy Boyz v. Kenny Dykstra & Johnny Nitro
Nitro distracted Matt just long enough for Kenny Dykstra to take the initiative and mug half of the tag champs. Kenny slapped on a sling shot and Nitro decked Matt back before shooting over the top rope and hitting an elbow drop, a pretty nifty double team. Nitro slapped on a front face lock which Matt fought out of. The two exchanged some moves before Matt hit a clothesline and tagged in brother Jeff.

Jeff moved fast and decked both Nitro and Kenny before planting Nitro with a double drop kick to his face and going for a cover. Jeff looked for the Swanton bomb, but Kenny distracted him long enough to enable Nitro to get up on the top rope. Jeff pushed him off and came sailing over his head and hit a roll up for a three count.
Winners: The Hardy Boyz via pin fall

After the match, The World’s Greatest Tag Team, who had been ‘scouting’ ringside, came running into the ring and the heels began a beat down on the Hardy’s. Cade & Murdoch came running down to the ring to make the save.

Khali came down to the ring with his translator and let us all know how he felt. He’s tender, really. Khali said he had his foot under the rope last night and he got screwed. Khali said not only did the ref screw Khali, but the people screwed him as well.

Khali told us to screw off in Indian some more and then pointed out that he never really never got knocked off his feet. He said Cena had to cheat and use chairs to knock him to the mat. Khali said that Cena was nothing but a coward. He said he should be champion right now. He said he could defeat Cena anywhere and anytime he wanted to. He said he could beat him in the ring, outside the ring, in the audience, on the ramp.. Cena’s music hit and out he comes.

John Cena said he wasn’t going to complain about anything at all, unlike Khali, who he called an eight foot cry baby. He said last night two things happened for sure. He said Khali’s foot was under the rope and secondly, he made Khali tap out. Cena said he was out here tonight because he was called a coward. He said up until Judgment Day, he was afraid of him. Cena said Judgment Day wasn’t about winning and losing, it was about his surviving. He said not only did he survive, but he ‘got him’ and he knew he could ‘get him’ again.

Cena said he was telling Khali that HE could beat Khali anywhere anytime. Cena said “You want a rematch, hell I want a rematch” and jumped Khali. Khali easily gained the upper hand and dumped Cena to the mat with a double handed choke slam like a sack-o-trash. Khali completely cold-cocked the champ and stood over his body.

Monday Night Raw Preview: Judgment Day Fallout

The following is courtesy of WWE.com...

Raw steamrolls into Moline, Ill. tonight, with the court of public opinion still in shock over what transpired at Judgment Day less than 24 hours ago.

Raw On three separate occasions in as many weeks, WWE Champion John Cena suffered the Raw wrath of The Great Khali, falling before the behemoth’s colossal might. However, The Champ accomplished the impossible at Judgment Day, withstanding Khali’s vaunted power and becoming the only man who has ever made the leviathan tap out. Though bruised and battered, a victorious Cena heads into Moline still wearing the gold. But is the threat of Khali truly behind him…or will giant-sized retribution be on hand Monday night?

Randy Orton took a major first step in refocusing his career onto a championship-bound track…at the expense of a barely-able-to-focus Shawn Michaels. After already dealing HBK his second severe concussion on Raw Monday night (the first coming two weeks ago from The Great Khali, who choke-bombed him through the announcers’ table), the Legend Killer orchestrated a pre-match attack Sunday night that made easy ring pickings of The Showstopper, whose indomitable spirit urged him to compete against doctor’s orders.

The badly injured Michaels left Judgment Day in an ambulance, while Orton now heads into Raw with a revitalized agenda. Has he killed the legend of Shawn Michaels?

In addition to feeling the fallout from Judgment Day, Raw proudly introduces the world premiere of Timbaland’s video “Throw it on Me,” in which the hip-hop megastar bumps and grinds with several of the hottest WWE Divas.

Shawn Michaels vs. Edge: WWE Raw Results, 5-14-07

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net...

As soon as Raw is on the air, the music of John Cena hits. He walks to the ring with a very determined look on his face, missing the championship belt that was stolen by The Great Khali last week. Cena grabs the mic, saying that he was just announced as the champ, but he doesn’t have the title. He says that the title is in the hands of Khali. Cena says that Khali came down last week, took the belt, and left. He says that Khali left, and he couldn’t stop him. Cena says he felt humiliated and helpless. He says humiliation is nothing new to him, since fans always chant that he sucks, but he has respect for the business and the belt, and Khali just took it. He says he has faced giants, super-heavyweights, and gone face to face with the baddest of the bad, but Khali is almost inhuman. He says that his best shots don’t even faze Khali, that Khali has never been pinned or tapped out, and that he has barely been knocked down; Khali can do whatever he wants whenever he wants. Cena says that his closest friends told him Judgment Day is a bad idea, and will be his execution.

Cena says they’re wrong, and that in the right frame of mind he is a one man wrecking crew and Khali has signed up for the fight of his life, but he’s not talking about Judgment Day. Cena says that Khali has something of his, and he wants it back right now. On the Titantron, Khali is shown with some guy, saying he’s Khali’s translator. He says that Khali has something to say, and he begins the translation. Khali says that no one has done what Khali has done. They roll of promo video showing highlights of Khali’s actions over the last few weeks. As Khali starts talking, a “What!?” chant breaks out. Khali says that if Cena wants some, he can come get some. Cena jumps out of the ring and walks up the ramp and into the back. Khali is in the back with his translator when Cena attacks from behind. Khali pushes Cena away, and hits him with a trashcan. Khali then throws Cena into a metal structure, before double chokeslamming him onto a zambonie machine. Khali takes Cena and pushes him against the wall, and starts choking him out. Khali leaves, and Cena is on the ground gasping for air as we cut to a commercial.

We come back to a quick recap of what just happened. The Hardys’ music hits, and both Matt and Jeff Hardy come out to yet another massive pop from the crowd. Cade and Murdoch’s music hits and both come out. JR and King say how impressed they are with the attitudes of the Redneck Wrecking Crew as of late.

Jeff Hardy vs. Trevor Murdoch
The match starts with a collar-elbow tie-up, with Murdoch forcing Hardy into the corner, and making a clean break. Hardy gets the upper-hand with a headlock take down. Following that, a series of reversals take place that showed great athleticism by both men. Murdoch gets the upper hand with an elbow, and goes for the pin. Hardy kicks out, and takes control sending Murdoch to the outside. Hardy gets Murdoch back inside and gets him into the corner. He mounts and starts to punch. Murdoch manages to drop Hardy to the ground. Lateral press by Murdoch, followed by a two count. After a chinlock by Murdoch, Hardy hits a jawbreaker. Hardy begins to make the comeback. Hardy goes for the swanton, but Murdoch gets his knees up and goes for the pin. Hardy kicks out after two. Murdoch tries to get Hardy to his feet, but a roll-up by Jeff gets the three count. Murdoch extends his hand to help Hardy up, who accepts. Cade and Murdoch leave, and the Hardys remain in the ring with a confused look on their faces.
Your Winner: Jeff Hardy

Backstage, we see Coach with Shane, Vince, and Umaga. Shane says that Coach has nothing to worry about in his match with Lashley for tonight. Shane assures Coach that they’ll be in his corner. Coach says he has to leave and get ready. Umaga leaves as well. Vince makes a comment about his matching suit and doo-rag, saying it’s sweet. He says he’s down, and Shane says that he’ll see Vince out at the ring.

Back at ringside, Santino Marella’s music hits, and the IC champ makes his way down to the ring. As JR and King talk about Marella’s relocation to New Jersey, Chris Masters’ music hits, and the Masterpiece comes out for our next match.

Santino Marella vs. Chris Masters
The match starts with Marella trying to go for a take down, but Masters overpowers him. Masters goes for the Masterlock early, but Marella gets away before it’s locked in. Marella gets the upper-hand with a backdrop, and an armlock, but Masters turns it around with a backbreaker. Masters is in control as Marella attempts to fight back but runs into a massive clothesline by Masters. Masters again goes for the Masterlock, but Marella backs him into the corner. Marella with a few good shots, before Masters pulls off a spine buster. Masters again goes for the Master lock, but Marella slides out before it’s locked in, and gets the pin with a sunset flip.

Chris Masters attacks Santino Marella from behind, and locks in the Master Lock. Marella goes limp, and Masters throws him to the ground. Marella is out on the mat as Masters walks to the back.
Your Winner: Santino Marella

Melina’s music hits and she walks to the announcing table. She does the splits on the table, much to King’s delight, and then takes a seat next to King grabbing a headset. Candice Michelle’s music hits, and she comes out. Victoria is already in the ring.

Candice Candice Michelle vs. Victoria
Candice grabs Victoria’s hair and throws her to the ground. She goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. Victoria clotheslines Candice, and takes control. Victoria locks in an arm and leg lock, but Candice fights out. She gets Victoria to the ground, and hits an standing elbow. Candice covers, but gets a two count. Candice then hits a spinning head scissors. Victoria gets the upper hand by kicking Candice from behind. Victoria gets Candice up on her shoulders, but Candice fights out, and hit’s a spinning heel kick. Candice with a cover, 1-2-3!
Your Winner: Candice Michelle

Edge’s music hits, and the Rated R Superstar comes out on Raw for what could be the last time. He holds up the World Heavyweight Championship belt at the entrance as fireworks explode around him. He goes to the ring, and grabs a mic for his farewell address. He starts by explaining how he’s had the greatest week of any superstar in history. The Titantron shows a video of his victory over Kennedy for the MITB briefcase last week. Edge says he could have cashed in on anyone. He says he’s already cashed it in on Cena, and now he’s done it to the greatest champion in history, the Undertaker. A video shows his victory over the Undertaker on Smackdown. Edge says he thought about leaving with a lasting impression, a last Edge match. He says he doesn’t think that the people deserve it.Continue Reading...

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview

The WWE has already announced that on Raw this Monday night, former ECW Champion Bobby Lashley will go one-on-one against Jonathan Coachman. Expect appearances from the current ECW Champion Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon, or Umaga during this segment.

Also, since winning the World Heavyweight Championship will mean he is moving to Smackdown, Edge will be on hand to say "Goodbye" to everyone on Raw.

They are also promoting more interaction between John Cena and The Great Kahli and Ric Flair's response to Carlito's words, along with his treatment of Torrie Wilson last week.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton: WWE Raw Results, 5-7-07

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net...

Raw opens with Jonathan Coachman in the ring. He announces the ECW champion, Vince McMahon. Vince’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring, doo-rag and all. He takes the mic from Coach, and says he’s not just the ECW champion, but also the Chairman of the Board. Vince says that he’s never seen anything like last week; how one individual dominated four top superstars. During his promo a “What?!” chant breaks out. A video promo is shown, recapping the events of last week, when Khali decimated HBK, Edge, Orton, and Cena. Vince says that it’s impressive that one man took out all those top superstars in one night. Vince is in the process of announcing Khali vs. Cena for Judgment Day, but is interrupted by Shawn Michaels. HBK says he was supposed to face John Cena, and he would have won had Khali not jumped him. Vince asks Shawn if he would like to name him # 1 contender. Shawn says Vince has never made him anything.

He says Vince has never done anything for him, and he wants to earn whatever he wants. HBK says he wants to face off with The Great Khali tonight. Vince says we will see HBK vs. The Great Khali in a No DQ match tonight, with the winner to face Cena at Judgment Day. As HBK leaves, Vince says that now everyone is talking about him, the new ECW champion. Lashley’s music hits as he makes his way down to the ring, and grabs a mic. He tells Vince that, after giving Shawn what he wanted, why not give Lashley what he wants? Vince reminds Lashley that he can’t lay a hand on Shane, Umaga, or Vince. A video promo is shown on the Titantron, showing Lashley losing at Backlash. Vince keeps trying to provoke Lashley. Vince says that Lashley has never heard of McMahon’s “grapefruits” and says he’ll take on Lashley at Judgment Day, and the he’ll be Lashley’s Judge, Jury, and Executioner. Vince then says that he’ll have Shane and Umaga as his partners against Lashley. Lashley says that he wants to show Vince what he’ll do to him, but he can’t lay a hand on Vince. Vince leaves the ring rather abruptly. As Coach goes to follow, Lashley grabs him, and beats down the Coach, effectively sending a message to Vince.

Mickie James is walking in the back, and goes into Candice’s dressing room. Mickie asks if Candice is ready. It looks like the WWE Divas match is early tonight.

Mickie James and Candice Michelle vs. Melina and Victoria
We start off with Mickie against Victoria. Victoria says she wants Candice Michelle, so Mickie tags her in. Victoria goes on the offensive, but is neutralized by Candice. Victoria tags in Melina, so Candice tags in Mickie. James goes on the attack with a Lou Thesz press, gets the upper hand, and tags in Candice. Melina turns the tables with a rake to the eyes. Melina gets a one count, but Candice kicks out, and manages to get the tag. Mickie attacks, but Melina takes control, whipping Mickie into the ropes. As Mickie bounces off the ropes, Candice makes the blind tag, and blindsides Melina with a spinning heel kick for the win.
Your winners: Mickie James and Candice Michelle

Santino Marella vs. Chris Masters, for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Masters starts out by overpowering and frustrating Marella, using his size to an advantage. Marella fires back with speed, nailing Masters with fists and a flying reverse elbow. Marella with a two count, but Masters kicks out and blocks a clothesline to retake control. Masters punishes Marella with an elbow on the apron, hops back in the ring, and gets a two count. Masters then removes his kneepad to go for a knee drop, but Marella moves, gets up, and begins kicking Masters, finishing with an enziguiri. Masters tries to follow with a clothesline, but Marella moves, and sends Masters into the turnbuckle. He capitalizes with 5 fists to the face. He dismounts, and Masters tries to put Marella into the turnbuckle, but Marella moves again, this time rolling up Masters for the three-count!
Your winner: Santino Marella

After a commercial break, Mr. Kennedy’s music hits and out comes Mr. Money in the Bank. He refers to last week, reiterating that the countdown continues, and that there are only 328 days until Wrestlemania 24. This means 328 days until there is a new champion, and his name will be “Misterrrrrrr Kennnnedy….. wait for it….wait for it…. KENNEDY.”

JR sends us to the back, as Maria is standing with Randy Orton. Maria asks Orton about his match with Cena tonight. Orton says that after tonight, people won’t remember the HBK/Cena fight from two weeks ago, because tonight, it won’t take Orton an hour to beat Cena. He says tonight his title hopes, and his life, get back on track.

Umaga Flies Handicap Match: Umaga vs. The Highlanders
King says that Vince has made this match to send Lashley a message. Umaga opens by dominating both Highlanders with fists, putting Robbie in the corner, and then delivering the Samoan Spike to Rory. He then picks up Robbie and spikes him. This is total dominance by Umaga. He puts Robbie on top of Rory, (in a rather precarious position) and then climbs to the top rope to big splash both men before earning the pinfall.
Your Winner: Umaga

We come back from commercial, and Edge runs into Mr. Kennedy. Edge tells Mr. Kennedy that he’s sick of Kennedy coming on Monday Night Raw. Edge says that Kennedy won’t win the title, and says that Kennedy is afraid of putting his MITB title shot on the line. Kennedy at first says no, but after Edge chides him for being afraid, Kennedy says that he will put it on the line against Edge, he will win the title at Wrestlemania, and then yells his name into Edge’s face, and tells him to “get to steppin’.”

Shawn Michaels vs. Great Khali, No DQ, #1 Contender for the title shot against John Cena at Judgment Day.
Michaels wastes no time, jumping on top of Khali, throwing fists, and trapping Khali between the ropes. Khali stands up, frees himself, and gives HBK the big boot. Khali follows with a body slam, and goes for a leg drop, when HBK rolls out of the way. Michaels grabs a chair and smashes Khali. Khali sits up, but Michaels hits a clothesline. HBK to the top rope, and he delivers the elbow drop. The crowd pops as Michaels starts tuning up the band. Khali gets to his feet, catches the Sweet Chin Music mid-kick, and drops HBK with a chop to the head. Khali puts HBK into the corner and begins choking him, and delivering massive elbows to the Shawn’s head. HBK stumbles to the other corner, as Khali gives a chop, and throws Michaels into the opposite turnbuckle, for the popular skin-the-cat routine. Khali gets Michaels on the apron, but HBK starts powering back, getting Khali in a front face lock, as Khali falls over the rope and outside.

Monday Night Raw Preview

WWE.com has posted the following preview for tonight's edition of Monday Night Raw:

A major announcement regarding the main event of Judgment Day will kick off Raw at 9/8 CT. What will that announcement be, and will it shed any light on the complicated WWE Championship picture?

The Raw locker room is on notice as Raw prepares to invade the Bryce-Jordan Center on the campus of Penn State University Monday night.

Last week, The Great Khali made his intentions known: he wants the WWE Championship. After laying out Shawn Michaels, Edge and Randy Orton (with the attack on Michaels ruining a scheduled Cena vs. HBK battle), Khali hit the ring and laid out John Cena.

This week, Cena will battle Orton. But with HBK having been denied a championship opportunity last week, Edge upset about not getting another one and Khali on the prowl, no one is safe. Will The Champ or The Legend Killer survive long enough to come out on top?

The Great Khali Makes a Statement: WWE Raw Results, 4-30-07

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net...

Edge vs. Randy Orton
The match starts with a staredown, as Edge slaps Randy Orton, and the two begin exchanging blows. Edge rolls out of the ring, and Orton chases him around the outside as the action goes back into the ring. Orton takes control, smashing Edge into the turnbuckles and stomping a mudhole into him. Orton gets a 2 count, and continues to punish Edge. An audible "Randy" chant starts as Orton knocks Edge to the outside, and we cut to a commercial break. We're back live and Edge is back in the ring, getting dominated by Orton. Edge pulls Orton's tights sending Orton into the turnbuckle, and then sends Orton out of the ring, from the apron to all the way to the announce table. The audio is out as Edge pulls Orton back in the ring, and gets a near-fall 2 count. Audio comes back, as the crowd is chanting for Randy, but Edge is clearly in control as he gets a 2 count. Orton fights out of a sleeper-hold only to get smacked by a reverse heel-kick by Edge. Edge goes to the top rope and gets stopped by Orton.

Orton/Edge Orton climbs up to edge as they exchange blows. Edge knocks Randy off the turnbuckle, and jumped off towards him, as Orton meets Edge mid-air with a huge drop-kick. Both men are dazed after that, as Orton connects with his inverted backbreaker, and gets another near fall. Powerslam by Orton and another near fall! Edge connects with a flashback and gets a 2 count. Double cross body-block that results in a collision of both men. Edge gets back to his feet and removes the turnbuckle. Orton with a rollup, Edge counters, and both men are back to their feet. Randy is busted open by a sick snake-eyes from Edge. An Amazing Wrestlemania 23 Rematch: WWE RAW Results, 4-23-07

The following report is courtesy of wrestleview.com ...

Shane McMahon’s music hit and he came down to the ring. Shane said Bobby Lashley certainly wouldn’t be here tonight. He said Lashley was responsible for shaving his father’s head bald and costing Umaga the Intercontinental Championship. A video recap aired putting over Santino Marella’s improbable win over the Samoan Bulldozer last week.

Shane said in honor of St. George’s Day in England, one of these people would have the opportunity to slay a dragon. They said that dragon would be Shane. Shane said one of these people tonight would be facing him tonight. He pointed to a bunch of people and even pointed out the head coach of Chelsea FC . Shane said he wasn’t going to bother with these people. He had already scoured the English country side and found the greatest wrestler in the country, Robbie Brookside. Brookside came out and wow, is he looking pathetic.

No DQ: Shane McMahon v. Robbie Brookside
The two locked horns and Shane grabbed a side headlock and then took him down with a take over. Brookeside counteed only to get hip tossed aside by Shane-O-Mac. Shane locked horns with Brookside and rode all over Brookside before driving some mean forearm shots into the back of the head and the kidneys.

Eventually, Shane introduced us to his ‘tag team’ partner, Umaga. Brookside was completely unconscious. Umaga hammered away on Brookside in the corner and after Shane added some boots for good measure, Umaga came sailing across the ring and hit the running ass to the face.

Umaga dragged Brookside’s completely unconscious body to the center of the ring and lay him prone in the center. Umaga came flying off with a big splash. Shane grabbed the mic again and forgot to mention the fact that this was a 3 on 1 handicapped match and introduced Vince. McMahon sneaked into the ring and grabbed the cover on Brookside for the ‘win’.
Winners: Umaga, Shane & Vince McMahon via pin fall

Matt Hardy (w/Jeff Hardy) v. Trevor Murdoch (w/Lance Cade)
After some back and forth, Hardy connected with a side effect before going for another cover but again, got nothing. Hardy jumped to the second rope and hit a leg drop, but Lance Cade showed up out of nowhere and interfered, distracting Hardy long enough for Murdoch to hit his finisher for the win.
Winner: Trevor Murdoch via pin fall

A video putting over Steve Austin’s new movie The Condemned aired.

Melina v. Maria
The two circled it up and locked horns before Melina tossed her to the mat. Maria returned the favor before Melina snapped and went a little loopy, bum rushing Maria to the corner and choking her out with a furry boot. Melina kept up the pressure, choking Maria out on the top rope before landing a chop and whipping Maria in to the ropes. Maria countered with a hurricanranna and came flying back at Melina, but got caught with a face buster that put her down for the count.
Winner: Melina via pin fall

The Great Khali v. Carlito

Khali hit a shoulder block and then just screamed. Carlito ducked under Khali and tried to kick out the big man’s legs, but Khali just killed him with a head butt. Khali hoisted up Carlito by the hair and went for a power slam, but Carlito raked the eyes and escaped. Carlito mounted the top rope and went for the missile drop kick but Khali swatted him out of the air. Khali hit a CHOP!!!!!!! YES! Double choke slam and a foot on Carlito’s chest later, this one’s over.
Winner: The Great Khali via pin fall

After the match, Ric Flair went to tend to Khali. Carlito asked him where he was and then went nuts in Spanish. I think Carlito said he had no heart. Flair looked confused as he walked up the ramp.

Mick Foley is in the back. He said he didn’t get to be on Raw much anymore and was looking quite dapper. He said it was a privilege to help Michael Pena. He said Pena had made a match before Edge showed up. They made an Al Snow joke. Edge said it meant that he’d get to go through three people on his way to the WWE Championship. He said he would get a cup of coffee after he ran over Randy Orton and watch HBK and Cena tear each other apart. Edge told him he wrote a good book and left.

John Cena v. Shawn Michaels
The bell rang and the two circled it up. HBK grabbed a knuckle lock and used his shoulder to hammer away at Cena’s left arm. Michaels grabbed a fireman’s carry take down and Cena escaped and we’ve got a stalemate.

The two locked up again and HBK grabbed a head lock. Michaels skated around Cena’s body and grabbed a hammer lock before Cena threw him off. Michaels was frustrated and Cena was smiling. The two locked up again and HBK grabbed another arm wringer. HBK flipped Cena over and went for a quick cover and used the kick out to grab another arm bar. Cena countered out and went for a quick STFU and HBK frantically escaped.
