Six days away from WWE Judgment Day, here’s what went down on WWE RAW…

William Regal is in the ring. Lillian Garcia is there and sings “God Save The Queen!” Regal disapproves of the fans’ disrespect. He’s General Manager and King and could have them thrown out if he wants. He’s not bluffing. He picks on a random couple and has them thrown out. Mickie James says that was her brother and his girlfriend. Regal threatens to throw Mickie out, too. She pleads her case and he threatens to strip her of her title belt.

John Cena is in the house! He sends Mickie to the back and gets a mic. He’s back and is usually ready to raise some hell but he wants to talk to Regal man-to-man. He knows what it’s like to give your soul to these people and have them tell you “you suck.” Cena reads out complaints from fans. “This is WCW Thunder bad.” “I’m going to start a chant in every arena in the country saying “Fire Regal clap clap clap, fire Regal clap clap clap.”" Glorious.

Regal says he won’t turn out the lights tonight. He knows Cena wants revenge on Randy Orton, so the main event is Orton vs. Cena. Regal says if anyone gets involved in the match, they will be suspended. Regal hopes he’s earned some respect.

Chris Jericho is here. He shows us footage of Michaels injuring his knee at Backlash against Batista. Jericho says he didn’t buy it because he saw the look in Shawn’s eyes at Backlash and has been telling everyone who will listen that Shawn’s a fake. But last week, something happened that changed his mind. We see footage of last week’s tag match. This time, he saw the pain on Shawn’s face when he kicked John Morrison. He was wrong. He wants to tell Shawn he’s sorry. Jericho would understand if Shawn wanted to call off their match at Judgment Day and says he should because Jericho doesn’t want to face Shawn with a bad wheel.

WWE RAW originated from London last night. But, don’t worry, we’ll recap the show on the American side of the Web page.

Bad jokes aside, here’s what went down…

We start of with Shawn Michaels coming down to the ring, recapping the Ric Flair/Batista story line and hyping his match with the latter. Just then, Ric Flair’s entrance music HBK. But Chris Jericho walked out. He apologized for misleading Michaels, but he wanted to get HBK’s attention: “You can gloss over Ric Flair all you want, but we’re never going to hear Ric Flair’s music again because of you.”

Jericho walked to the ring and told HBK that he’s a phony…or at least that’s what Batista thinks. He then questioned whether HBK enjoyed retiring Ric Flair, doing a great job citing past occurrences, such as HBK superkicking Marty Jannetty through the window.

After some more taunting, Michaels superkicked Jericho. It was later announced that Y2J would be the special guest referee at Backlash for the Michaels/Batista match. We’d LOVE to see a full Jericho heel turn and feud with HBK. How about you?

Santino Marella and Carlito beat Brian Kendrick and Paul London to become No. 1 contenders for the World Tag Titles. A backstage shot aired of Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes watching the match on a monitor. Late in the match, Kendrick ran and dove at Santino, who pulled down the top rope and sent Kendrick flying onto the floor at ringside. Moments later, Carlito hit the Backstabber on London and scored the pin.

Mickie James defeated Beth Phoenix to win the WWE Title. Mickie James made a big comeback and scored a great nearfall. Later, Beth grabbed Mickie’s arms while facing her back and lifted her into the air. Mickie sold the move, then hit a victory roll out of nowhere for the win.

JTG (w/Shad) beat Trevor Murdoch (w/Lance Cade). Murdoch hit a cross-body block off the top, but JTG rolled through and scored the pin. Cade entered the ring and just stared at his partner with a frustrated look on his face. Cade patted Murdoch on the shoulder and then left the ring. Looks like a Cade singles push to us.
