Monday Night RAW Ratings: A Vast Improvment

This week’s edition of WWE RAW did a 4.2 cable rating with a 6.2 share. This high number can be credited to Monday Night Football being out of the way, along with the beginning hype for Wrestlemania 23.

Last week’s edition earned a 4.1.

Monday Night RAW Rating Remains Steady

The 1/22 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW drew a final 4.1 cable rating with a 6 share. The first hour scored a 4.0 rating, while the second hour scored a 4.1 rating.

This is the same rating the show drew last week and is a solid number for the company heading into the Royal Rumble PPV this Sunday.

Final WWE Smackdown Rating Rises

The 1/19 edition of WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew a final 2.9 broadcast rating with a 4.9 share. That is up quite a bit from last week's 2.6 rating.

WWE RAW Enjoys Ratings Boost

With no Monday Night Football competing against it, this week's WWE RAW saw a significant ratings increase.

It earned a 4.1, way up from last week's 3.7 rating. Could be a sign of good things to come as WWE heads into the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 23.

ECW on Sci-Fi Rating Drops Significantly

This week’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi dropped yet again down to a 1.4 cable rating with a 2.0 share. This is the lowest number a live edition has done. The quarter hours don’t even come close to a 2.0 (like they normally do) doing 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.4, and 1.6.

Monday Night RAW Rating Drops Again

This week's Monday Night RAW cable rating (3.7) dropped from last week's 3.9. It earned a 5.4 share.

In the WWE's defense, the show was competing against the college football national championship game airing on FOX.

Smackdown Rating Sets CW Network Record

Last week's Friday Night Smackdown Smackdown scored a final 3.0 broadcast rating, according to Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com. It was the highest rated Smackdown since it moved to the CW Network this past fall.

Monday Night RAW Rating is a Let-Down

Despite WWE claims that Monday's RAW and 2007 are off to a strong start, this week's show only drew a 3.9 rating overall.

That's considered a disappoint considering the hype surrounding the John Cena/Kevin Federline match.
