Bobby Lashley comes to the ring and says that Mr. McMahon finally got revenge, and he's the ECW World Champion. Outside of the McMahon family, he doesn't think there's a person happy about this. The ECW fans aren't happy, the ECW Originals aren't happy and he damn well isn't happy. However, he has a way of making this all better. He will give Mr. McMahon a beating of his lifetime. He doesn't care if he has an injured shoulder or not, he wants a rematch right here, and right now. Cue Armando. Everybody listen, to him!

He says Lashley doesn't deserve to come out here and demand anything. He's not going to allow him to come out here and ruin this special night. It's because of him that Mr. McMahon got his head shaved, and it's because of him that Armando is in a wheelchair right now. Before Vince gets here tonight, he's supposed to deliver a special message. Lashley will get a rematch, but it's not tonight. However, he has been authorized to tell Lashley that unless he's physically provoked he can't touch Vince, Shane or Umaga.

Lashley comes out of the ring and down to Armando. He tells him to say it again. He repeats, he can't touch Vince, Shane or Umaga. Or he'll forfeit his rematch. Bobby said he can't touch them, but what's Armando's name? His name Es Armando....He cuts off because he just realized why Bobby asked. Bobby asks the fans if they want Armando in the ring, they cheer. Lashley turns the wheelchair and runs it into the steel steps sending Armando flying over it.

The New Breed is backstage. Burke says that Punk set them up. He never meant to motivate them, and Burke deserves an apology. CM Punk turned his back on The New Breed. So tonight, they follow his lead.

CM Punk v. Kevin Thorn
Lock up, back elbow by Thorn. Thorn off the ropes, drop-kick by Punk. Thorn dominates Punk into the corner, boots and fists send Punk to the outside apron. Thorn grabs his arm and yanks him back, causing his neck to bounce off the middle rope. Pulling Punk into the middle of the ring, Thorn applied a sleeper hold. Punk fights back, elbows to Thorn's midsection. Series of missed clotheslines before Punk's caught by Thorn and slammed down.

Thorn up top, coming back down by Punk gets his knees up. Offense by Punk sends multiple fists into Thorn, back kick. Go To Sleep! 1-2-3. The New Breed go backstage and Punk begs for them to come back out.

Layla El and Extreme Expose dances to Warrant's Cherry Pie.

Backstage The New Breed is confronted by Thorn. He asks where they were. They said they watched him get beat by CM Punk. Thorn has no right to come back here question anything. Burke says anyone in The New Breed could have beaten Punk. Thorn tells him to shut up, as far as The New Breed is concerned, he quits.

Matt Striker & Marcus Cor Von v. The Majors Brothers
Striker and one of them lock up, he flips around but Striker yanks him down by his hair. Striker off the ropes, he catches him with an arm drag takedown. Tag made, other guy in, trade a few blows. Alpha Male tagged in, but can't get in, the Major Brother knocks him down. Cor Von pulls him out and throws him against the ring, then back in. Military Press into a fall away slam. Two count broken up. Scoop slam by Cor Von, multiple forearms to the guy's face. Sleeper hold by Cor Von, stand up, but Cor Von's able to dominate an d send him into the corner. Cor Von misses the shoulder, tag to Striker and the other brother. Brother off the ropes, clothesline, another clothesline. Striker off the ropes, flapjack, two count broken up by Cor Von. Double team but the brother pulls a sunset flip on Striker, two count. Striker with boots to one of the brothers. Sent into the corner, springboard off the middle rope, cross body block. 1-2-3. The Major Brothers win!

Post-match Burke and Striker argue on the outside. Striker tries to say it was a fast count. Burke says he made him and brought him into the New Breed. Striker makes him sick. Striker walks away looking disappointed.

A video package is shown of last week's main event: CM Punk sliding the chair to RVD and him getting the win over Elijah Burke.

Punk is shown backstage watching that video. He turns around to the New Breed and says he's sorry for pointing out that they need independent figures, and everything else he said and did last week. He was just trying to help Burke, but he got over zealous. It's all in the past. Tonight they have an 8-man elimination against The Originals. Tonight is when they make history, they all need to be on the same page. Punk shakes Thorn, Striker and Cor Von's hands then leaves. Burke's left with a confused look on his face. Punk back in, laughs and says he's just kidding, he's really sorry.

Umaga v. Bobby Lashley (Non-title bout)
Stare down as the bell rings, Umaga starts it off with a slap to Bobby's face. Bobby fights back, right hands opened up on Umaga. Lashley charges, Umaga flips him to the outside apron. Umaga with a charge of his own sending Bobby down and out. Umaga outside sending Bobby into the steel steps. Over to the announce table Umaga begins pulling the cameras from their positions and dismantling it. Bobby fights back and Umaga sends him head first into the side of the ring. Umaga slides in to stop the ten count. Bobby up top, hangs Umaga out to dry on the top rope. Bobby on the top rope, gets caught with a fist from Umaga. Samoan drop and Umaga mounts Lashley and delivers multiple right hands.

Umaga to the second rope, diving head but however Lashley rolls out of the way. Both men try standing, continuing to trade blows. Standing tall, fists continue as the crowd chants 'Hey!' and 'Boo!' as each fist connects. Umaga sets Bobby up for the Samoan Spike but Lashley ducks and sends him outside. Armando in and uses the belt on Lashley, causing a disqualification. Umaga hops up on the apron but Bobby sends him back down. Lashley begins an assault on Armando and throws him to the corner. Lashley sets up a spear, Armando turns and the spear connects! If that wasn't enough, Armando's picked up and Army pressed over Lashley's head before throwing him out of the ring.

Snitsky v. Balls Mahoney
Lock up, Balls Mahoney thrown to the ground. Balls off the ropes, shoulder block sends him back down. Snitsky right hands, picks Balls up and throws him into the turn buckle, almost in an attempted tree of woe. Snitsky in the middle of the ring, placing Balls into a double under hook butterfly lock. Clothesline sends Balls down, big boot. 1-2-3. Snitsky wins.

Backstage Punk says this is New Breed's night, it's revenge for WrestleMania. He's happy he joined the New Breed. It's because of each one of them. So bring on the Originals. Burke comes in and asks what's going on. Punk says they're getting fired up, where's he been? Burke says he's been fired up, he's been getting ready just like they should have been. Punk says good, it's time to do this.

The Originals v. The New Breed (8-Man Elimination)
Burke and Tommy Dreamer lock up, series of reversals before Dreamer takes Burke down. Standing up, Burke fights back with and elbow to Dreamer, shoulder block. Burke off the ropes, scoop slam. Right hand by Dreamer. Sabu tagged in, Dreamer scoops Sabu and slams him down on Burke. Lateral press, two count. Burke off the ropes, drop toe hold, leg drop meets Burke. Sabu places Burke on the apron and hangs him over the top rope. Tag to Sandman, leg drop sends Burke down on the mat. Into the corner, flapjack by Sandman. Sandman up top, tries a roll and Burke rolls him up for a three count. Sandman is eliminated.

Sabu in, gets caught by Burke. Burke tags in Striker. Triple team in the corner by Cor Von, Burke and Striker before Striker pushes Sabu off the ropes, opposite side Sabu hits the second rope, springboard into a tornado DDT. RVD in, picks up Sabu and three legs drop down on Striker. Striker into the corner, RVD with a roll through monkey flip. RVD up top, down on the outside apron as Cor Von and RVD shove one another. Ref breaks it up as RVD goes back up top. Striker to the ropes and crotches RVD. Both men on the second rope, sunset flip, two count. RVD up top for a third time, split legged moonsault. Matt Striker is eliminated.

Cor Von in, snap suplex on RVD, one count. RVD into the corner as Cor Von begins to work his knees. RVD fights back but is quickly thwarted by a right hand from Cor Von. RVD with a kick to Cor Von's chin, spring board into a cross body, two count. Sabu tagged in, double team on Cor Von's arm. Sabu with a load of nasty right hands, drop toe hold, leg drop, camel clutch on Cor Von! Cor Von tries to stand up, RVD in with the save as he drop kicks Cor Von back down. Burke in, punch to Sabu sending him down and back on the outside. Cor Von works on the neck of Sabu. To the outside, Sabu's placed on the side of the apron, a nasty chop to the back of Sabu's neck. Back in the ring, tag to Burke, Burke continues to work on Sabu's neck. Two count. Cor Von back in, still working Sabu's neck. Swinging neck breaker, one count. Standing back up, Sabu into the corner, rising knee to Cor Von. Sabu launches himself off the ropes, two count on Cor Von. Boot to Sabu's midsection, Sabu counters an attempted suplex by Cor Von, back elbow meets Sabu's neck, POOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUNNNNNCCCCCCCCEEEEE!!!!!! Sabu is eliminated. Dreamer in with a series of combinations to Cor Von, bulldog.

Burke and Dreamer on the outside, Burke throws Dreamer back in. Tag to Thorn. Double team sends Dreamer into the ropes, double elbows. Thorn works the back of Dreamer before tagging Cor Von back in. Dreamer off the ropes, ducks a clothesline, Cor Von throws him into a quick belly to belly suplex. Dreamer and Cor Von on the outside, Dreamer's racked on the guard rail. Marcus Cor Von disqualified/eliminated.

Thorn throws Dreamer back in, elbows to Dreamer's back. Crossface placed on Dreamer. Standing up, spinebuster by Thorn, two count. Knees drop down to Dreamer's chest, tag to Burke. Burke's kneepad is down, off the ropes, drops a knee on Dreamer's head. Tag to Thorn with Dreamer in the corner, Thorn like a freight train sending Dreamer into the turn buckle. Quick reversal, DDT plants Thorn. 1-2-3. Kevin Thorn is eliminated. Burke in quickly, kneepads down, Elijah Express! 1-2-3. Tommy Dreamer is eliminated.

Down to Elijah Burke v. RVD. Exchange of right hands, Burke off the ropes, standing drop-kick. Elijah begs for RVD not to hit him, grabs his tights and flings him into the steel post, twice. Roll up, Burke's feet on the ropes, two count. Snap take over places RVD into an inverted arm bar. RVD stands up, right hands before Burke connects with a clothesline. Lateral press, two count. RVD hits a back body drop, clothesline, Burke up, clothesline, spinning back kick connects with Burke's skull. Rake to the eyes by Burke. Burke with a back flip over the ropes, knocking RVD backwards but he's able to hold on. RVD over, Burke tries to come over the top but RVD hits a spinning front kick sending him outside. RVD distracts the ref, Punk behind Burke, snap kick to the back of Burke's head. Back in the ring, RVD up top, FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH! 1-2-3. Elijah Burke is eliminated!

Post-match, the crowd goes nuts for the One Of A Kind, Punk looks on at Burke before climbing in and standing over a fallen Elijah Burke. The crowd begins a CM Punk chant. Punk lifts Burke up and throws him over his shoulder, Go To Sleep! Punk says he's sorry and has a wicked smirk on his face.

The show opens with The New Breed already in the ring. CM Punk comes out and gets a big entrance. Punk gets on the mic and said everyone is asking him why he joined The New Breed. He said he would keep that decision to himself for now. Rob Van Dam then comes out and says the ECW Originals will make Punk regret his decision. Elijah Burke tells RVD that all the Originals are losers. RVD challenges Burke to a match, but Punk says that if RVD wants to challenge the leader of the New Breed, the he is really challening Punk. Burke has a shocked look on his face when Punk says this. Burke then jumps in to accept RVD's challenge.

- Snitsky defeated Nunzio (no longer Little Guido).

- Backstage, CM Punk tells Elijah Burke that he was hesitating about RVD's challenge. Burke told Punk that he better stay in line as a member of the New Breed.

- Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman defeated Kevin Thorn & Marcus Cor Von.

- Backstage, Punk was with Matt Striker and looked upset about Thorn and Cor Von's loss to Dreamer and Sandman.

- ECW Champion Bobby Lashley comes out and says he cannot wait until Backlash. He then introduces the new WWE Intercontinental Champion, Santino Marella. Marella thanks the fans and Italy.

- Backstage, CM Punk is shown giving Thorn and Cor Von a talk about their loss earlier tonight. Burke tries to step in and tell Punk to stay in line, but Punk blows him off.

- Rob Van Dam defeated Elijah Burke. During the match, CM Punk came out to ringside and slides in a steel chair too fast. RVD ends up getting it instead and hits Burke with it followed by a Five Star Frog Splash to get the win. After the match, Punk tries to explain what happened to Burke and apologizes.

Show starts with Vince McMahon coming to the ring, sporting his hat. He said at WrestleMania he experienced the greatest humiliation of his life when he got his head shaved bald. Somehow he'd regain his self respect, his dignity and extract revenge. Austin is promoting his film and Trump's in his Ivory tower, he can't get back at them, so that leaves Lashley.

Bobby Lashley will not be at ECW tonight because he gave him the night off and barred him from the building. Lashley is suffering from a severe concussion due to the hands of the assault last night on WWE RAW. (Video package shown.) Lashley said WrestleMania was the greatest night of his life, and if that's the case, Vince can assure home Backlash will be the worst night of his life when he faces Umaga, the greatest wrestler in the entire business, Shane and Vince himself. Vince plans on making Lashley suffer like Vince never has. He plans on making all of the fan's lives a living hell as well.

Backstage RVD and CM Punk are shown warming up. RVD said that at WrestleMania Punk was awesome and he represents everything The Originals stand for. Elijah Burke interrupts and says that there's nothing 'old' about Punk, he's all New Breed. RVD asks if the grown ups can talk. Burke says that Punk will give his answer next week, Punk interrupts and says no, he'll give his answer tonight.

Tommy Dreamer v. Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel
Thorn with a boot to Dreamer's gut, trading blows as Dreamer tries to send Thorn into the corner, reversal, elbow sending Dreamer down. Thorn misses a leg drop, Dreamer hits a swinging neck breaker and throws Thorn outside. Trying to come back in, Dreamer hits Thorn with a baseball slide. On the outside, Thorn meets steel steps before Dreamer delivers right hands to Thorn's head. Slipping underneath Dreamer, Thorn pulls Dreamer down and delivers a few blows. Back in the ring, Thorn works on the back and neck of Dreamer, wrenching him backwards. Dreamer into the corner, boot to Thorn. Thorn hits Dreamer with a one hand spinebuster. Dreamer ducks a clothesline and hits a hangman's neckbreaker. Multiple shots to Thorn before a clothesline takes him down. Into the corner, elbow meets Dreamer's head. Spinebuster from Dreamer, two count. Dreamer up top, Thorn catches him and hits the Dark Kiss. 1-2-3. Kevin Thorn wins.

Backstage, Kelly Kelly, Layel El and the Extreme Expose is putting makeup on and singing, rather badly. Snitsky shows up, they say hello and walk away, leaving Snitsky there to breathe heavily and say nothing.

Stevie Richards v. CM Punk
The match is interrupted by Matt Striker coming down to the ring. Followed quickly by Sandman.

In the ring, Punk slams Richards with a back breaker. Two count. Richards into the corner, four Thai kicks to Richard's midsection. Punk up top, misses a cross body block. Richards sending uprising knees into Punk's midsection, two count. Richards wraps himself around Punk's ribs, almost in a half bear hug. Punk up, back body drop by Richards. Two count. Punk and Richards exchange blows, multiple slaps into a round kick to Richards by Punk. Richards into the corner, kneelift. Bulldog by Punk, two count. On the outside, Sandman swings the cane at Striker, missing and hitting Punk who was springing off the ropes. Roll up by Richards, two count. Reverse roll up by Punk, 1-2-3. Punk wins.

Extreme Expose dances. Interrupted by Snitsky, Layla somehow can't find her way out of the ring. Snitsky breathes heavily and stares her down. Balls Mahoney comes from behind and cracks Snitsky with a chair. Big boot by Snitsky sending Balls down.

RVD comes out with Sabu.

RVD w/ Sabu v. Marcus Cor Von w/ Elijah Burke
Lock up, RVD into the corner, Marcus calls him a chump. Lock up again, side head lock by RVD, into the ropes, RVD rolls under Marcus, jumping spin kick misses and they come into a stand off. Boot to RVD's midsection, chop to the back of his neck. RVD into the corner, slaps and fists delivered by Marcus. Marcus into the corner, RVD jumps in, caught by Marcus. Rolled through, RVD into the ropes and slammed down by Cor Von. Stomps delivered by Marcus, RVD up and into the ropes, boot to his midsection. Doubled over, Marcus into the other side of the ropes, big boot to RVD. One count. Scoop slam brings RVD down, Marcus places RVD into what looks like a modified abdominal stretch. Standing up, neckbreaker by Marcus. Two count. Heavy hands continue to reign down on RVD. RVD into the corner, Cor Von follows, RVD lifts his legs. Body scissors into a roll up by RVD, two count.

Belly to back suplex by Cor Von, two count. In a rest hold, Cor Von works on RVD's neck and back. Standing up, RVD fights back with elbows to Marcus' midsection. RVD misses the enzugiri, Cor Von hits RVD with a release German suplex, two count. Snap suplex by Cor Von, and back to working on RVD's neck. Cor Von works on RVD's knee, two count, then back to his neck. Standing up, RVD mounts some offense with punches. Off opposite ropes, two clotheslines. A pair of leg kicks and a spinning back kick into Cor Von. RVD into the opposite corner, Cor Von in, elbow. Jumping kick to Cor Von. Double leg by RVD, corkscrew leg drop, two count. Cor Von tries to send RVD on the outside, but he catches himself on the apron. RVD up top, jumping off and sending a kick to Cor Von. To the other side, RVD's setting up for the five star frog splash. Elijah Burke on the outside, attacks Sabu. He waits until RVD's about to go up top, then spikes Sabu into the ground with a DDT. RVD runs off, and being distracted, Cor Von is able to hit the Pounce. 1-2-3. Cor Von wins.

Post-match Punk's music hits as he comes down to the ring and checks on Sabu and RVD. Punk takes his shirt off and gets in the ring, acting like he's going to fight the New Breed. Punk and Elijah shake hands, and they all raise their hands in the middle of the ring. Striker and Thorn come down and hoist Punk up on their shoulders.

ECW opens with Bobby Lashley making his way to the ring and grabs a mic. Bobby says that WM23 was the biggest moment of his life. Whether it was the eighty-thousand in attendance, the millions at home or Sports Center. Everyone was talking about the Battle of the Billionaires, but he's not. A picture is worth a thousand words.

A still image of Bobby and Donald shaving Vince at WM23 showed on the Titan Tron. He said no words in the English dictionary could describe this: a video package of Vince in the ring on WWE RAW and Bobby coming down to expose his chrome dome. He knows that Vince won't rest until Bobby's life is a living hell. He doesn't care how many people Vince sends against him, no matter what or who, nothing will stop him.

CM Punk v. Stevie Richards
Lock up, CM Punk with a side headlock. Punk into the ropes, shoulder block. One count. Punk with a side headlock on the ground. Standing, Punk into the corner, Richards sending Punk into the opposite corner, Punk with a head lock takeover, two count. Side head lock standing up again, into another corner. Stevie attempts a kick, Punk catches it and delivers a kick to his thigh. Richards into the ropes, jumping leg lariat. Two count. Richards with a boot to Punk's ribs, and continues to stomp him in the corner. Vertical suplex in Punk, two count. Punk sent into the turnbuckles, smashing his injured ribs. Richards goes for the abdominal stretch but Punk rolls him up for two. Multiple chops to Punk's chest before Richards actually gets the abdominal stretch locked in. Punk works Richards' legs, into the corner.

Richards tries a running boot, Punk out of the way. Tri fecta hit in the corner. Bulldog on Stevie, two count. Punk attempts a vertical suplex, Richards counters with an attempt of his own. Punk hops over, back fist into an enzugiri. Go To Sleep, 1-2-3. Punk wins.

Backstage Rob Van Dam and Timbaland are talking. RVD tells him he has much respect. RVD says he's out there rapping and getting shot at, that's extreme. While he's here in ECW he needs to know who to call on. That's R-V-D-. RVD walks off as the Extreme Expose comes up and introduces themselves to Timbaland. They heard Timbaland has a new video that'll have Divas in it, so they'll show him dance moves.

Backstage, Marcus Cor Von and Matt Striker are talking to Punk. Striker tells him he's finally shown everyone what he's all about, and that's why they came to him with this opportunity. Punk tells him that he's already told Burke no. Cor Von tells him that you're either with The New Breed, or against The New Breed. Striker says that if Punk just watches what The New Breed is going to do to The Originals, he might change his mind.

Hardcore Holly v. Snitsky
Big boot misses Holly, combination of punches to Snitsky before Snitsky nails Holly with a clothesline and proceeds to stomp Holly in the corner. Holly fights back with boots to Snitsky's midsection. Scoop slam on Holly, two elbow drops follow. Two count. Holly into the corner, Snitsky is met by Holly's boot. Snitsky with a side slam on Holly. Two count. Right hand to Holly. One count. Holly retaliates with two chops before Snitsky sets him up for a suplex. Holly counters and goes for the Alabama Slam but Snitsky works his ribs and gets him with a big boot. 1-2-3. Snitsky wins.

The ECW Originals v. The New Breed
We join it in progress, Sabu with a two count on Striker. Sabu with a springboard off the middle rope into a DDT. Camel Clutch on Striker as all men enter the ring and brawl. RVD goes under the ring and gets weapons. Sabu with a trash can on Cor Von, Dreamer with a lid on Burke. Sandman up and over to the outside on Striker. Sabu off the opposite ropes, off the chair and over to land on Burke. Thorn attacks. In the ring, Dreamer sends Striker into a corner with a trash can. Cor Von in, Dreamer into the ropes, drop toe hold sending Dreamer into a chair. Burke in the ring, stomps to Dreamer, Striker with a trash can lid, Cor Von with a stop sign and Thorn with a chair. The Originals try to storm the ring, but are thwarted by The New Breed. Thorn continues the assault on Dreamer with his cane, two count. Dreamer grabbing Thorn, DDT with Burke on a neck breaker.

Cor Von into the corner. Sabu runs, off of RVD's back and into Cor Von. RVD with a spinning heel kick. Rolling Thunder on Striker, leg drop by Sabu! Sabu runs to the corner, caught by Cor Von. Powerbomb. Two count broken up by Sandman. Burke with a trash can to Sandman, Burke caught with a stop sign by Dreamer! Burke in the tree of woe, Sabu sets up a chair. Dreamer off, JUMP, DROP-KICK! One handed powerbomb by Dreamer on Striker on the trash can! Cor Von with a chair to Dreamer. Sandman with multiple kendo stick shots. Clothesline by Cor Von. Cor Von catches Dreamer, spinning drop with Dreamer onto a chair. Cor Von with the POOOOOUNNNNNCCCCEEEE on Sandman. Two chair shots to Cor Von by RVD and Sabu. Thorn in, chair to Sabu and a clothesline to RVD. Thorn sets up a table in the corner. Thorn attempting a Crucifix, RVD counters, to the corner and up top. Ariel jumps o the apron and knocks RVD down. Thorn picks RVD back up, Sabu with a chair shot to Thorn! Table set up in the middle of the ring by Sabu. Thorn on it. Sabu up top! RVD UP TOP! DOUBLE LEG DROP! DOUBLE LEG DROP! ECW! ECW! ECW! Striker in with a stop sign, Sabu flips him over the top. Elijah Burke with the Elijah Express, sending Sabu into the table head first! 1-2-3. The New Breed wins.

The match starts with both men locking up, couple reversals, RVD with a lateral press, one count. They lock up again, Burke with a side headlock on RVD, flips him over, RVD reverses into a head scissors. Burke flips back into a bridge, two count. RVD into the corner, couple of punches, Burke with a rising knee to RVD's gut. Burke slams RVD down, elbow drop. Two count. RVD into the other corner, Burke runs in, elbow. Burke with a kick to RVD's midsection, RVD into the ropes, Burke bends down and RVD rolls over his back. Side kick to Burke's back. Burke into the ropes, up and over. Burke sat on the ropes, punches delivered. RVD up top, jumping side kick to Burke's chin causing him to fall to the outside. RVD off the opposite ropes, somersault over the top landing on Burke.

Back in the ring, Burke has RVD in a chin lock. RVD back up, elbows to Burke's gut, leg sweep. Rolling Thunder...no! Burke gets his knees up. Burke drops with a fist to RVD's jaw, multiple punches to the back of RVD's skull. Back up, vertical suplex into a belly to back suplex. Two count. Rest hold with Burke pulling on RVD's arms. RVD stands, back kick. Heel clip by Burke. Burke puts RVD in a version of the Texas Cloverleaf. RVD gets to the ropes. Burke rolls him over, two count. Standing up, RVD into the corner, drops to the ground. Burke runs into the corner, uses the top ropes as leverage, elbow drop. Two count. Burke continues to work RVD's kidneys. Another chin lock (AKA Rest hold). Standing, Burke continues to work RVD's kidneys. Burke against the ropes, RVD into the opposite side, Burke with a boot. He flips to the outside of the apron and climbs the top turnbuckle, as he comes down with an elbow, RVD gets a jumping spin kick. Clothesline to Burke, again. Stiff kick to Burke's head, off the ropes, spinning heel kick. Two count. Thai kick to Burke's thigh, spike to his head. RVD into the corner, Elijah Express misses. RVD up top, FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH, 1-2-3!

In the back we see the Hardyz talking to CM Punk. Edge quickly enters. Edge tells them last night on RAW was the biggest Cutting Edge ever. He knows none of them want to team up with one another, but it's in everyone's best interest if they work together. Punk asks him why they should listen to him. He won the first Money In The Back. The other team's egos are too big, they can't work together. If they can work together, they can take a couple of the other guys out. They don't have to like him to listen to him.

Snitsky v. Balls Mahoney
Balls awaits Snitsky's entrance in the ring. Snitsky rushes in and knocks Balls Mahoney outside. Balls mounts an offense with three punches before Snitsky slams Balls into the post on the outside. Balls on the apron, Snitsky with a rising boot. Back inside, catapult sending Balls' throat into the bottom rope. Balls up, big boot. 1-2-3.

Tazz and Styles discuss the events on WWE RAW last night. A video package is shown of the "match." Vince and Lashley face to face, next!

Kennedy and Randy Orton are talking backstage, Finlay comes up. Finlay says they're all partners tonight. Booker shows up. Kennedy and Orton walk away. Booker asks what's going on. Finlay says they were saying some bad stuff about Booker. Booker never trusted those two, but he's always trusted Finlay. Tonight, they should watch each other's back. Finlay says it's a good idea, except, Booker can't trust him either.

On the Titan Tron, Vince is in Stamford, Lashley is in Grand Rapids. Vince says he'll feel much better after Wrestlemania 23. He's been 'partying down' and having a celebration after last night. He said it wasn't difficult pinning Bobby 1-2-3 last night. He's a great athlete, but he was against someone of Vince's physical prowess, and he should be glad he didn't take off his shirt. Because then Vince would have shown him what a real man looked like. Vince then proceeded to stroke his own ego for a minute or so. He can't wait to see Umaga come down off the rope and 'splat' on Bobby, and watch him let everyone down. After Wrestlemania, Vincent Kennedy McMahon will still have his hair, and Bobby Lashley will be an irritant. His future is bleak. Bobby needs to be happy Vince isn't there tonight, or he'd have to beat the hell out of him. Lashley tells Vince to listen to him, and calls him an old bastard. After Wrestlemania he'll be one bald headed son-of-a-bitch.

Matt Hardy sends a boot to Kennedy. Lock up, side slam on Kennedy. Two count. Matt into the corner, tag to Jeff. Double team on Kennedy. Cover, two count. Tag to Orton, Orton with boots to Jeff. European uppercut to Jeff in the corner, punches to the top of Jeff's head. Orton swings at Jeff. Jeff up top, Whisper In The Wind. Two count. Tag back to Matt. Up top, leg drop. Two count. Tag to Punk. Punk up top, double fist to Orton. German suplex, two count. Kennedy breaks it up. Tag to Finlay, all four men team up on Punk in the corner. Finlay with two European uppercuts into a clothesline. Finlay off the ropes, drops down onto Punk. Two count. Scoop slam on Punk, tag to Booker. Booker with boots to Punk. Booker and Punk trade right hands. Booker sending Punk into the ropes, elbow. Finlay back in, sleeper hold on Punk. Standing up, Punk delivers elbows to Finlay's gut, another elbow to Punk's chin, back into the sleeper hold. Tag to Orton, double team on Punk.

Punk mounts an offense with multiple Thai kicks, European uppercut, another. Orton clotheslines Punk down, jumping knee to Punk's skull. Two count. Tag to Booker. Boots put to Punk. Rest hold in the middle of the ring, Booker putting Punk in a standing inverted chin lock. Kick to Punk, Punk into the corner, reversal, Booker into the other corner, rising knee to Booker in the corner. Bulldog! Punk tags in Edge. Edge looks reluctant to get in the ring, then gets in and sets Booker up for the spear. Quick tag back to Punk. Edge walks back up the ramp, Booker blind sides Punk and delivers multiple knees. Reversal by Punk, shin kick to Booker's skull. All men into the ring, minus Edge. Orton and Jeff to the outside. Punk into the ropes, Finlay with the shillelagh, Booker with the scissors kick. 1-2-3. Winners: Kennedy, Orton, Finlay, Booker.

Post-match, all four men begin brawling in the ring. The Hardyz come in with a ladder and knock down Finlay. Then Kennedy, then Booker, then Orton. Then they throw the ladder at Kennedy. Double slingshot sending Orton into the ladder that is pancaking Kennedy in the corner. Ladder into Finlay once more, busting him open. The Hardyz get the bigger ladder and climb up opposite sides. They both have their hands on the briefcase, holding it high as ECW goes off the air.

Rob Van Dam & Sabu v. Marcus Cor Von & Kevin Thorn (w/ Ariel)
RVD hit a go behind only for Thorn to crack him with a boot to the gut and a punch in the face. RVD caught Thorn looking for a backdrop and planted a few feet in his face before whipping him to the buckles and tagging in Sabu, who hit his squash.

Later on, Sabu cleaned house before hitting a sling shot leg lariat for a two count. Sabu hit a grizzly looking implant Tornado DDT and almost got the cover but Thorn broke it up. RVD took Thorn to the outside with a hurricanranna, Thorn tried to desperately interfere, but Sabu knocked him off the apron. However, Cor Von came flying off the ropes with a Pounce and mauled Sabu sending him careening across the ring. Cor Von scrambled for the cover and got the three count.
Winners: The New Breed via pin fall

Snitsky v. Mike Fuller
Snitsky backed up Captain jobber before tossing him hard into the buckles and killing him with a boot to the face. Just like that, this one’s over.

CM Punk v. Hardcore Holly
The two circled it up before Holly grabbed a side headlock. Holly was tossed into the ropes and hit a shoulder block. The two went into a cut little move exchange thingy before CM Punk slapped on an arm bar. Elijah Burke popped up on the scene looking like he was recruiting Punk.

Holly continued to put the heavy lumber to Punk’s head, clubbing away in the corner before whipping him to the opposite buckles. Punk got a foot up on the charge and hit some lariats before hitting a knee to the face for a two count. Punk hit his stiff knee in the corner before looking for his usual bulldog. Holy fought out and went for the Alabama Slam, but Punk held on only for Holly to boot him in he junk.

Holly went for a super plex on the second rope. Punk shoved Holly off the ropes before hitting a top rope leg drop. Burke got up on the apron and said something to the ref while Thorne jumped in behind the ref’s back and did something to Holly. Punk hit Go 2 Sleep shortly thereafter and got the cover for the win. Punk looked a little skeptical about the assistance.
Winner: CM Punk via pin fall

CM Punk was with Elijah Burke and told him he didn’t need anyone’s help. Burke said the New Bred looked after their own. He told him to keep thinking about it.

The Extreme Expose aired and no one cared about Layla El and friends.

Tommy Dreamer (w/ The Sandman) v. Elijah Burke (w/ Matt Striker)
Burke came right at Dreamer with some clubbing blows before Dreamer got the better of him with a hip toss. Burke rolled to the outside but Dreamer followed him out and beat him around for a little while. There was a brief struggle on the apron before Burke ran Dreamer into the ring post before taking him back into the ring and slapping on a top wrist lock.

Edge was in the back when Randy Orton came out of nowhere and got in his face. Orton was all over him about throwing him under the bus now that he’s an opponent of his at Wrestlemania. Orton said he’d better have his back tonight and Edge did everything he could to assure him he did.

The New Breed v. The ECW Originals Extreme Battle Royal
All hell broke loose in the ring and Sandman was dumped HARD to the floor by Matt Striker while trying to put a few fists in his head. Burke and Striker ganged up on Dreamer in the corner while Cor Von attempted to eliminate Sabu but was saved by Rob Van Dam. A botched double team and botched spot ended up eliminating Cor Von.

Sabu went for a hurricanranna, but Kevin Thorne caught him and planted him back in the corner before killing him with a lariat and knocking him to the floor.

Burke and Thorne double teamed Tommy Dreamer while RVD and Matt Striker went at it in the corner. RVD power bombed Matt Striker off the top rope before hitting a wind mill kick on Kevin Thorne. Striker tried to power RVD up and out of the ring before heading over to the opposite corner to prevent Burke from being eliminated.

RVD and Kevin Thorne were eliminated when RVD hit a flying cross body block on Thorne, sending both over the top rope. Thorne crashed to the floor while RVD held on with one hand. Striker came over and kicked his hand off the rope, eliminating him from the match.

Dreamer took a beating in the corner from Striker and Burke before fighting back. Dreamer eliminated Striker when Striker missed a follow up after an Irish whip. Burke hit his knee to the back before Burke hit a beautiful looking standing drop kick on the top buckle, nearly knocking Dreamer to the floor.

Dreamer held on on the apron and eventually fought his way back into the match. The two fought into the ropes before Dreamer caught a kick and took the leg and pushed it over Burke’s head, flipping him backwards and to the floor.
Winner: Tommy Dreamer

While the ECW Originals celebrated in the ring, Mick Foley’s music hit and he came out to the ring.

Mick Foley said he was here to plug his book but he was also here to talk about Wrestlemania. He put over his selling out on ECW a few years ago. He said he had never been so honest in a book in his life before and gave it to Dreamer. He said he tried to give them the rub at ECW: One Night Stand, but now he was talking about Wrestlemania 23. He said in 22 years, he never had the honor of ever performing in front of that many people in his life. He said somewhere in the dark recesses of the upper deck, he would be plopping his ass in a seat and would stand up and chant ECW with everyone in the stadium. He chanted ECW with the crowd and then left the ring, while Styles and Tazz put over his now embracing his ECW past.

The Extreme Expose aired before Snitsky broke up the fun. Conveniently, two wrestlers were waiting in the ring, ready to get squashed.

Mike Deke & Danny Jacks v. Snitsky
Snitsky beat both men around before ripping off Jacks’ head with a big boot for the win.
Winner: Snitsky via pin fall

CM Punk asked what Elijah Burke wanted and Burke said he apologized for coming at him all wrong. He said he didn’t get an answer from Punk last week and he noticed Punk went over to Smackdown and had a bad night. Punk protested before Burke told him the New Breed had bad nights too. Burke said Punk had a huge match coming up at Wrestlemania. He said he’d have a better chance of winning if the New Breed was in his corner. He gave him a New Breed T-Shirt and told him ‘the New Breed, my friend, is where the power lies” and then walked off. Great promo from Burke.

Bobby Lashley v. Randy Orton
Before the bell rang, Edge’s music hit and he came out to the ringside area. Lashley was none to pleased about his presence. The two circled it up and Lashley quickly backed Orton to the corner. Orton hit a boot to the gut only for Lashley to follow right back with some big shots of his own. Orton went right to his leg and booted away at the back of the leg of Lashley.

Orton chopped Lashley’s leg down to size before dropping a knee across his face. He attempted to choke Lashley out on the ropes, Edge distracted the ref. When Orton took off the pressure, Lashley snapped to and decked Orton. Orton bolted to the outside and began bantering with Edge in protest.

We came back to Orton holding Lashley in a Boston crab in the middle of the ring. Lashley eventually reached the ropes before Orton dragged him to the middle of the ring and went into his Garvin Stomp. Orton went for a cover, but only got a two count.

Lashley rose to his feet and hit some punches before slamming Orton to the mat and dropping an elbow across his chest for a two count. Orton hit a thumb to the eye and rushed Lashley to the corner, hitting a series of forearms in his back. Orton connected with some European upper cuts Lashley tried to reverse an Irish whip but Orton caught him and twisted him into his inverted back breaker and really did a number on Lashley’s back.

Orton went for an RKO but Lashley dumped him to the mat. Edge came running into the ring with the belt but the referee caught him and threw him out of the match. Orton was beside himself and went out to remind his partner he was an idiot. Edge pleaded with Orton before turning around and leaving with a smirk on his face.

Orton once again had the Boston crab on Lashley before Lashley got into the ropes. Orton kept hammering away at the back of Lashley before whipping him to the buckles and missing a follow up shoulder spear. Lashley hit a whip of his own and rocked Orton with a massive spear in the corner. Lashley lined up for a second and third before picking up Orton and flipping him to the mat like a baby.

Lashley dropped an elbow and got a two count. Lashley hit a sit out shoulder back breaker and went for a cover, but Orton somehow managed to kick out. Lashley kept on beating the crap out of Orton in the corner relentlessly before setting Orton up for the power slam and connecting for the pin fall.
Winner: Bobby Lashley

As Lashley celebrated with the crowd, Vince McMahon’s music hit and he came out to the aisle. Lashley dared him to come into the ring while Vince stared him in the entrance way.

ECW starts with Mr. McMahon strutting down to the ring. McMahon talks about Stone Cold being named the special referee and the contract signing with Donald Trump next Monday. McMahon talks about giving Trump a billionaire bitch slap, similar to the one he gave Bobby Lashley on Smackdown last week. McMahon shows the clip 16 times before moving on.

McMahon claims that Lashley was waiting for him outside of his office. McMahon says Lashley had tears in his eyes and wanted to apologize. McMahon told him that he would not accept his apology unless he made it in front of the public. Lashley comes down to the ring. Lashley says that he wants to apologize to the fans in attendance, the fans world wide, and especially to McMahon. McMahon and Lashley shake hands, but Lashley does not let go. Lashley says that he wants to apologize for last week when McMahon slapped him and not beating the hell out of him. He is squeezing McMahon’s hand tighter and McMahon is selling it. Lashley tells him that if he ever lays a hand on him again, he will break McMahon in half.

Balls Mahoney vs Hardcore Holly
Holly takes an early advantage on Balls Mahoney. Holly beats on Mahoney for awhile before a clothesline takedown for 2. Holly works of Mahoney in the corner. Mahoney hits his punching combination. Mahoney goes to the top and misses a leg drop. Holly hits the Alabama slam to pick up the quick victory. Snitsky comes out of nowhere and hits Holly with the big boot.

Winner: Hardcore Holly

Rebecca is backstage with CM Punk. Punk talks about the money in the bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 23. Punk tells her that he is going to Smackdown to take on Mr. Kennedy. Elijah Burke interrupts Punk. Burke extends an offer to Punk to join the New Breed. Rob Van Dam walks in. RVD claims the Burke can’t spell ECW, but will learn all about Extreme Championship Wrestling next. Burke tells Punk to think over the offer.

Rob Van Dam vs Elijah Burke
Rob Van Dam is accompanied by Sabu, Sandman, and Tommy Dreamer. Burke is followed by Matt Striker, Marcus Cor Von, Kevin Thorn, and Ariel. The two men exchange arm drags before a typical Rob Van Dam chain of back and forth maneuvers. Burke dodges a spinning heel kick, but RVD connects a cross body attempt that takes both men to the outside. Back from commercials, Burke has Van Dam in a headlock. Burke hits a suplex followed by a belly to back suplex for 2. Burke locks in a submission, but Van Dam fights out of it. Burke hits a dropkick to Van Dam’s face for 2. Burke hits a double running knee strike on RVD in the corner. RVD comes back with a series of take downs followed by a monkey flip. RVD hits the split legged moonsault for 2. RVD hits the frog splash for the win. After the match, Dreamer gets on the mic. Dreamer challenges the New Breed to face the Originals at Wrestlemania 23.

Winner: Rob Van Dam

Stone Cold hits the ring. Austin talks about the dry heat of Tucson Arizona making him thirsty. He chugs a beer. Austin talks about the hair versus hair match, saying he is an expert at that since he has no hair. Austin commits to calling the match right down the middle. Austin talks about people asking him who he likes in the match up. He says he is more concerned about what the people think. Austin walks around the ringside area and asks 7 different people about the match. Austin says that he doesn’t give a rat’s ass who gets their head shaved. Austin promises that if anybody gets in his face, Wham, Stone Cold stunner.

Austin then tells everyone that he will be at the contract signing next Monday. He says that when McMahon and Trump gets in the ring, there is about 2 billion dollars worth of assholes. Austin promises that at Wrestlemania there will be a bald headed billionaire. Stone Cold spills beer on himself in the corners as ECW fades to black.

Mr. Kennedy vs Sabu: Money in the Bank Qualifier

Sabu quickly goes for Kennedy’s leg. Sabu goes for a springboard move, but Kennedy catches him and converts it into a back drop for 2. Sabu is whipped into the corner but gets the leg up to catch Kennedy in the face on the follow through. Sabu hits a springboard back elbow on Kennedy. Kennedy rolls out of the ring. Sabu hits the baseball slide and the slingshot follow up on Kennedy outside the ring. Sabu throw a chair into the ring and sets up a table on the outside. Sabu slams Kennedy’s head into the ring steps and lays Kennedy across the table. Sabu goes into the ring to attempt a double jump onto Kennedy.

Sabu gets to the top rope when Kennedy gets off of the table. Sabu held his balance for the couple of seconds to still take down Kennedy. Both men back into the ring. Sabu sets up for the triple jump moonsault. Kennedy grabs Sabu’s leg causing him to crash into the chair. Kennedy rolls up Sabu for 2. Kennedy works over Sabu in the corner. Kennedy takes the table from the outside into the ring. Sabu catches Kennedy with a leg drop from the top rope on his way back into the ring. Sabu sets up Kennedy for the Arabian face buster. Kennedy moves out of the way and Sabu goes butt first through the table. Kennedy DDTs Sabu on the remains of the table to pick up the victory.

Winner: Mr. Kennedy

Mr. McMahon is shown arriving at the arena.

Balls Mahoney vs Matt Striker

Striker comes out with an early advantage. Balls Mahoney quickly takes control with his punching combo and clothesline takedown. Balls goes to the top rope and hits a leg drop on Striker. Balls gets to his feet when Snitsky from nowhere hits a big boot on Balls to cause the DQ. After Balls is announced as the winner, Snitsky hits the big boot on Striker.

Winner: Balls Mahoney

Mr. McMahon says that tonight Bobby Lashley will defend the ECW title against Hardcore Holly in a cage match. However, McMahon is going to surprise Lashley and Donald Trump like the surprised him last night. Lashley has five minutes to defeat Holly or he will lose the ECW title.

Marcus Cor Von & Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel and Elijah Burke vs Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer w/ Sandman

RVD and Thorn start it off. RVD takes down Thorn with a corkscrew cross body. Dreamer gets the tag. RVD and Dreamer hit a drop toe hold elbow drop combo for 2. Dreamer mounts Thorn in the corner but is knocked off by Cor Von. Cor Von gets the tag and picks apart Dreamer. Dreamer stops Cor Von’s momentum with a reverse DDT. Thorn and RVD both get the tag. RVD hits Thorn and Cor Von with a series of kicks. RVD hits the split legged moonsault on Thorn for 2. RVD connects on a rolling thunder attempt only to have Cor Von break up the pin attempt. Dreamer throws Cor Von out of the ring and dives on him from the apron. RVD goes to the top rope for the frog splash. Ariel attempts to give Thorn his walking stick to use as a weapon, but gets a cane shot across her backside from Sandman. The distraction allows Burke to pull RVD’s leg and crotch him on the top rope. Thorn hits the dark kiss on RVD for the win.

Winners: Kevin Thorn and Marcus Cor Von
