WWE Rumors: Latest on Carlito

Carilto remains unhappy and WWE official would be glad to see him go... but they prefer if he stayed with the company for a few more weeks.

On the heels of Booker T leaving WWE a few weeks ago - and then appearing in TNA, of course - WWE doesn't another huge name to make the jump to TNA Wrestling right now.

This, of course, begs the question: Is Carlito really a huge name?

WWE Rumors: Carlito Asks for Release

Carlito is said to be unhappy with the direction WWE has been pushing him in lately. Some are saying that he has requested to be released from the company. WWE has not granted him a release yet, but may do so in the next week.

The Carlto Rant Againt Torrie Wilson: Translated

Last week on RAW, Carlito went on a rant against Torrie Wilson in Spanish. If you're wondering what he said and do not speak the language, here is a translation:

"You're a dime–a–dozen dirty blonde. You're not worth a cent. To me, you're nothing, understand? I hate the day that we met. I don't know why I let you into me life. I want you to get out of here. I want you to go to hell, you understand? You're not worth a cent, you understand? Dumb blonde. (Torrie slaps him and leaves the ring.) Leave then. Go on. Leave. I don't need you. I don't you need you for anything. Leave. Leave running and crying, just like that. Leave.

(To the fans) And you - you know full well that I'm the best in this company. Those other guys back there haven't wrestled, and you've never wrestled. The best thing to arrive ever in this company is named Carlito."

Not very nice, huh?

WWE News/Notes: Carlito Heat, Flair Displeased

The following news is courtesy of the Wrestler Observer Newsletter ...

Carlito has a massive amount of heat on him backstage right now after he voiced his displeasure with the decision to remove his match with Ric Flair from WrestleMania to make room for Melina vs. Ashley and Kane vs. Khali.

The feeling at the office was to send him on a permanent vacation from WWE RAW to Heat until he faded away from the fans. Carlito was telling friends that he expected to be fired and was already making plans for his life should it happen.

The plan was for the Flair/Carlito angle to go well past WrestleMania 23, but it has been put on the backburner for now. Ric Flair was also feeling down about not being on the show, especially since in his mind he only has one or two WrestleManias left in him. Flair didn’t speak publicly about it, but definitely did not hide his disappointment when talking to people throughout the week about it.

The feeling within WWE is that nothing will really happen to Carlito, but management definitely put the fear into him that it will.

Carlito Complains About Wrestlemania 23 Snub

Carlito may have gotten himself in hot water with WWE over comments he made to the Ottawa Sun.

"I'm out of Wrestlemania," he said. "Apparently, they had to make space for Kane vs. Khali and Melina vs. Ashley. How can I be at Wrestlemania? If I politic and kiss ass, I should make it.

"I'm not going to cry or be bitter, there's always next year ... and I don't want to get fired. But they're showing disrespect by not having Ric Flair at Wrestlemania and even more disrespect by not having Carlito there."

It probably should've been handled better - but the man makes a point, doesn't he?
