The following WWE Backlach results are courtesy of Adam Martin, Wrestleview.com. Let's take a look at what went down...

- Matt Hardy defeated MVP to become the NEW WWE United States Champion. Hardy falls out of the ring and the referee starts the count. Hardy hits the ring at 9 and MVP can't believe it. MVP with another series of kicks to Hardy. MVP with another huge kick to Hardy's head. MVP misses a kick in the corner and Hardy hits a Twist of Fate. Cover...1...2...3. Matt Hardy is the new WWE United States Champion!

- Backstage, Eve Torres is with the new WWE United States Champion Matt Hardy. Hardy talks about being a European, Hardcore, Cruiserweight and Tag Team Champion, but says tonight was the biggest championship win of his career. He talks about working so hard to get back into the ring. Hardy said it was all worth it and had only one thing to say to MVP - "MVP - I am better than you!"

- Kane defeated Chavo Guerrero to retain the ECW Championship. Chavo drops Kane's head over the top rope, goes to the top, jumps, Kane catches him, but Chavo drops Kane with a DDT. Chavo with more offense keeping Kane on the ground. Chavo is back to the top, but Kane grabs him by the neck. Chavo kicks Kane off, Chavo jumps and connects with a Frog Splash. But Kane counters grabbing Chavo by the neck and then drops him with a chokeslam. Kane covers and gets the pinfall to retain the ECW Title.

- Cole and Mick Foley look at a "Tale of the Tape" between Big Show and The Great Khali.

- Big Show defeated The Great Khali. Big Show fights back, driving Great Khali into the corner and then lifts up Khali for a big scoop slam! Khali fights back applying a choke on Big Show. Big Show breaks it up and levels Khali with a chokeslam! Big Show covers Khali and gets the pinfall.

- Backstage, John Cena is talking with Jimmy Wang Yang when Randy Orton walks up. Orton said a victory tonight for Cena will not home. He said he will go home disappointed, just like he did at WrestleMania. Cena said win, lose or draw, he promises Orton will go home a broken man.

- Shawn Michaels defeated Batista with Chris Jericho as the special guest referee. HBK is up on the top, Batista comes up with, HBK punches him off and HBK connects with a flying elbow. HBK goes for Sweet Chin Music, but Batista catches HBK with a huge spinebuster. Batista Bomb attempt, but HBK counters out, falls down and grabs his knee in pain. Jericho keeps Batista back as HBK favors his knee. HBK gets to his feet and catches Batista with Sweet Chin Music. HBK covers and gets the pinfall.

After the match, Jericho raises the hand of Shawn Michaels. We see some highlights of the match leading into the finish, including the end where HBK favored his knee but was able to come back and take out Batista with the Sweet Chin Music to gain the victory. Back live, we see Michaels having his arm over Jericho's shoulder needing help to walk. Two more referees come out and help Michaels to the back.

- Beth Phoenix, Melina, Jillian, Layla, Victoria & Natalya defeated WWE Women's Champion Mickie James, Maria, Ashley, Michelle McCool, Cherry & Kelly Kelly. Ashley with a huracanrana on Jillian Hall with the legal tags. Beth knees Ashley from the ring apron and Beth gets the tag. Beth goes to work on Ashley's neck. Beth lifts Ashley up. Layla gets kicked away, but Beth prevents Ashley from getting a tag. Mickie runs in and DDT's Beth. Victoria takes out Mickie with the Widow's Peak. Michelle takes out Victoria. Melina takes out Michelle. Kelly Kelly takes out Melina. Jillian takes out Kelly Kelly. Cherry takes out Jillian. Natalya takes out Cherry. Maria takes out Natalya. Layla takes out Maria. Ashley takes out Layla. Beth grabs Ashley and hits her Fisherwoman's Suplex to get the pinfall.

- The Undertaker defeated Edge to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge puts Taker up on the top, Edge stands up on the top, Taker throws Edge off, goes back to the top, jumps, but Edge moves and Taker lands hard. Edge leaves the ring, grabs the World Title, drops Taker off the top rope, Edge is in, Taker goes for a chokeslam, but Edge counters into a russian leg sweep. Edge is up on the top, Taker launches him off, covers, but Edge gets his boot on the bottom rope. Taker signals for the end.

Taker gets Edge up, Edge grabs the ropes, Edge exposes the top turnbuckle and drives Taker into it. Taker levels Edge with a clothesline. Curt Hawkins then runs out and hits Taker over the back of the head with the World Title. Edge covers, but Taker kicks out. Edge attempts a Spear, but Taker counters that into a DDT. Zack Ryder runs down, but Taker throws Edge into him. Edge counters a Tombstone into a sunset flip, but Taker applies the gogoplata! Taker locks it in and Edge eventually taps out.

- Triple H defeated Randy Orton to become the NEW WWE Champion in a Fatal Four Way Match. Cena with a suplex on Triple H. Shoulder charges by Cena on Triple H. Cena with a powerslam on Triple H, goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Triple H counters into a big spinebuster. Pedigree attempt, JBL misses a clothesline, Cena goes for the FU, Triple H falls off, Cena gets JBL up and connects with the FU. Cena counters a Pedigree attempt sending Triple H over the top rope. Cena locks the STFU on JBL. JBL taps out.

JBL is eliminated.

Orton then runs in and kicks Cena right in the head. Orton covers Cena and gets the pinfall!

John Cena is eliminated.

We are down to Randy Orton and Triple H. Both men begin to stare each other down. Both start to exchange lefts and rights. Triple H with some powerful rights on Orton. Triple H with a quick suplex on Orton followed by a knee drop to the head. Orton knees Triple H in the gut and drops him with a big right. Triple H sends Orton face first over the top rope. Triple H follows Orton out and bounces his head off the Raw announce table. Orton fights back sending Triple H shoulder first into the steel steps. Orton trips up Triple H on the outside, but Triple H gets in some right hands. Orton stomps his foot over the chest of Triple H and catapults him into the ring barricade. Orton then suplexes Triple H back to the ringside area over the ring barricade. Orton rolls Triple H back in the ring, covers, but only gets a two count. Orton starts driving his knee into the back of Triple H and Triple H screams out in pain.

Orton smiles as Triple H gets to his feet and he levels him with a big right hand. Orton with a knee to the gut on Triple H, cover, but another two count. Both exchange right hands in the corner. Orton breaks it up dropping Triple H with an inverted backbreaker. Orton then applies a headlock as Triple H tries to move out of it. Orton takes Triple H's back and applies a body scissors with a sleeper. Triple H starts getting to his feet. Orton kills any momentum with a quick powerslam on Triple H. Orton then starts stalking Triple H. Triple H is on his feet.

Orton attempts an RKO, but Triple H throws Orton away. Both men are down. The referee begins the count. Both get to their feet by 9. Big flying knee to the head by Triple H on Orton. Big knee to the face by Triple H on Orton, cover, but only a two count. Triple H with a clothesline sending Orton over the top rope. Triple H then launches Orton onto the ECW announce table. Triple H then tosses Orton onto the Smackdown announce table. Orton fights back sending Triple H face first into the ring barricade. Orton breaks apart the steel steps, bringing the bottom half towards Triple H. Orton stands on the steps, grabs Triple H, attempts a piledriver, but Triple H counters and trips up Orton allowong Orton to land back first on the steel steps! Back in the ring, Triple H hits a spinebuster on Orton.

Orton counters a Pedigree attempt launching Triple H over his head. Referee bump when Orton goes for the RKO and Triple H counters sending Orton away. Orton with an RKO! Orton crawls over, covers, but Triple H gets a shoulder up. Orton misses a kick to Triple H's head, Pedigree attempt, RKO attempt, Triple H hits the Pedigree, covers and gets the pinfall. Triple H is the NEW WWE Champion!

WWE Diva Tag Match Added to Backlash

WWE has added a 12-Diva tag team match to the Backlash card this Sunday.

It will feature WWE Women's Champion Mickie James, Maria Kanellis, Ashley Massaro, Michelle McCool, Cherry and Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix, Melina, Jillian, Layla, Victoria and Natalya.

WWE Backlash Matches Announced

We've barely recovered from Wrestlemania XXIV but a couple new matches have already been announced for the WWE Backlash PPV on Sunday, April 27. They are:

WWE Championship - Fatal Four Way Match
- Randy Orton (c) vs. John Cena vs. Triple H vs. JBL

World Heavyweight Championship Match
- The Undertaker (c) vs. Edge

ECW Championship Match
- Kane (c) vs. Chavo Guerrero

- Shawn Michaels vs. Batista

This Year's WWE Backlash Poster

With all the talk surrounding Wrestlemania 24, it's easy to forgot about WWE Backlash.

This year's pay-per-view takes place in Baltimore on April 27. Here's the poster for the event:

A reader sent the following in to PWInsider, regarding last night's Backlash pay-per-view:

Ric Flair got a monster pop coming out before the dark match.
Dark match was Carlito vs. Nitro. Really fun match and Carlito picked up the win.Place was legit sold out.
Crowd was really live all night.
Big pop for the Hardys coming out; Crowd was pretty into the match and huge pop for the finish.
Mickie James/Melina was kinda dull live. Seemed rather sloppy and crowd was pretty dead for that one.
Huge pop for Kennedy interrupting Edge promo. Seems like he could be a big time face someday.
MVP/Benoit was really good. Crowd was way into Benoit and popped big for the finish.
ECW match was OK for what it was. Lashley was WAY over. Crowd was into all of his offense. Oddly there was very little heat for the title change. Some good laughs with Vince acting like a goof. Seems like the celebration went on forever while they were waiting for some response and it never really came.
Undertaker entrance was awesome, as always. Crowd really loves him. Batista got decent heel heat. Match started slowly and then really took off. On a side note, they built the gimmicked platform during the show. It really took away from the coolness of the finishing spot. Crowd didn't like the non-finish and there was a few bullsh*t chants. Batista got a nice pop once he emerged from the wreckage.

Match 1: World Tag Team Championship: (Champions) The Hardys vs. Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch
Matt Hardy and Cade start it out. Lock up but Cade rushes Matt into the corner. Another lock up ensues but Matt with a side headlock takedown and holds in a headlock. Cade with a running elbow and a right hand punch knocking Matt down. Matt with punches and hip toss to Cade and Murdoch and another side headlock takeover for a two count on Cade. Cade tags to Murdoch but Matt slams Trevor and nails a fist drop and tags out to Jeff who nails a dropkick over the top rope and tags out back to Matt. The Hardys nail a leg drop/elbow drop combination and a flip elbow leg drop for a two count. Jeff nails the whisper in the wind and covers but Cade breaks up the count. Matt clotheslines Cade over the top rope and Jeff jumps on top of Matt's back and catipults himself launching a crossbody unto Cade and Murdoch on the outside. Matt nails an elbow to Murdoch in the ring for two. Matt with a clothesline but Murdoch comes back with a blow to Matt's back. Cade and Murdoch throw Matt back first into the corner multiple times. Cade tags in but Matt counters with a russian leg sweep and tags to Jeff. Jeff dropkicks Cade to the outside and goes to nail a dropkick through the ropes but Cade pulls Jeff back first out ringside. In the ring Cade powerbombs Jeff for two.

Cade with a slam and tags to Murdoch. Cade throws Murdoch into a leg drop to Jeff for a two count. Murdoch with a sleeperhold to Jeff who fights out but Murdoch counters with a swinging neckbreaker for two. Tag to Cade and Cade nails fists to Jeff's back. Cade with a big clothesline for a two. Tag to Murdoch. Jeff surprises Cade with an inside cradle for two. Murdoch with a boot for two. Tag to Cade and Jeff fights back and Cade tags back out to Murdoch who comes in with a flying fist drop. He tags back out to Cade who nails a snapmare and applies a sleeperhold but Jeff fights out and nails a jaw breaker. Cade tags Murdoch who nails a back suplex to Jeff. Tag back to Cade who runs into a reverse mule kick from Jeff. Matt makes the hot tag who nails a running clothesline and bulldog for two. Matt nails the side effect and covers but Cade breaks up the count. Murdoch nails a flipping powerbomb for two. Matt counters and nails the twist of fate and tosses Cade to the outside. While the referee is checking on Cade, Jeff goes up top and nails the swanton bomb and Matt covers for the win. Winners: The Hardys

Backstage Shane is pumping up Umaga for their match against Lashley. Vince appears and says a McMahon will win the ECW title tonight, but he wants it to be his son Shane. But Shane insists it be his dad. Vince says that sounds good and walks off while Shane starts to roll his eyes.

Match 2: Women's Championship: (Champion) Melina vs. Mickie James
Lock up but Melina with a hammerlock. Mickie with a fireman's carry and arm lock. Melina back with a hammerlock but Mickie with a monkey flip for one. Mickie with a side headlock takeover but Melina counters with a headscissors. Mickie nips up and we have a staredown as a Mickie chant starts out. Melina with a side headlock but Mickie with a headscissors. Melina fakes an injury saying something is in her eye and nails a forearm shot to Mickie. Mickie drives Melina into the corner and nails a monkey flip and punches away at the beautiful vixen. Melina with a throat thrust but Mickie counters and goes up top but Melina pushes her hard out to the ringside area. Melina pulls Mickie back into the ring and tosses Mickie by her hair. Melina with an interesting leg submission with Mickie's head between Melina's legs and Melina turns it into a pinning combination for a two count. Mickie counters with an inside cradle for two. Melina goes up top and chokes Mickie on the top turnbuckle. Mickie counters with punches but Melina counters with a modified version of a louise thez press.

Melina with a sleeperhold but Mickie James counters with a kick but Melina catches her and spreads her legs apart! On the ground Mickie catches Melina's kick and does the exact same making Melina spread eagle! Mickie with a front drop kick and a second one nailing Melina directly in the face! Mickie with a clothesline and tosses Melina by the hair for two. Mickie with a neckbreaker for another two count. Melina with a kick but Mickie nails an elbow in the corner and goes for the rana but Melina counters but Mickie goes up top and nails a crossbody for only two. Melina goes up top and kicks Mickie in the face and nails a reverse DDT for the win. Winner: Melina

Maria is backstage with Edge. Maria said someone wanted her to ask this question and read off a cue card. She asks, "how did you win your first championship?" Edge said I used my money in the bank and beat John Cena over a year ago. Edge asked Maria who told her to ask him that. Maria said he did and Mr. Kennedy shows up from behind. Kennedy said he just wanted to wish Edge good luck in his grueling match tonight. Kennedy gives Edge a smirk.

Match 3: United States Championship: (Champion) Chris Benoit vs. MVP
They lock up and MVP backs Benoit in the corner. MVP with kicks to Benoit's knee. Benoit with a facelock but MVP counters with a facelock of his own. Benoit with an arm drag and drop toe hold and goes for the crippler crossface but MVP quickly escapes and runs out of the ring. Back in the ring another lock up ensues but MVP with a sidelock takedown. Benoit counters with a headscissors and manages to keep MVP locked in it and MVP can't escape. MVP finally flips frontward into a pinning combination but Benoit bridges out and performs a backslide for two. Benoit with a back suplex and applies the sharpshooter on MVP! MVP barely makes it to the ropes. Benoit with chops but MVP fights back with a kick to the back of Benoit's head. MVP applies a neck vice working on Benoit's neck and Benoit fights back with knees and elbows but MVP catches Benoit and nails a belly to belly for two. MVP goes back to applying the neck vice but Benoit fights back and nails three german suplexes.

Chris Benoit follows it up with a nothern lights suplex. MVP catches Benoit and slingshots him throat first into the ropes. MVP with a neckbreaker for a two count. Benoit counters MVP and locks in the cripple crossface! MVP once again makes it to the ropes. MVP snapmares Benoit and applies an armlock and places Benoit's arms between his legs for leverage. MVP with a big boot for a two count. MVP misses another boot and Benoit lands on five perfectly executed german suplexes. Benoit goes up top and tries for the diving headbutt but MVP gets his knees up! MVP now with a half boston crab but Benoit makes it to the ropes. Benoit counters MVP's suplex with a small package for the win. MVP is shocked! Winner: Chris Benoit

Backstage Todd Grisham is with the WWE Champion John Cena. But before Cena can talk Randy Orton shows up. Orton says they both have a lot in common. He says there both young, incredibly good looking, and extremely talented. Orton says he and Cena should take out Edge and Michaels in their match and then see who the better man is between Orton and Cena. Cena asks if Orton really thinks he's handsome and makes a gay joke toward Orton. Cena then does the Orton pose and Orton says the only pose is in that ring with you lying in the ring and me on top. Ron Simmons shows up and gives us a "Damn."

Match 4: 3 On 1 Handicap Match for the ECW Championship: (Champion) Bobby Lashley vs. Shane McMahon, Umaga without Armando Alejandro Estrada, and Vince McMahon
Shane and Lashley start out. Lashley spears Shane big time and clotheslines him in the corner. Lashley with a huge spinebuster to Shane. Vince mocked Lashley saying don't make me come in there. Shane tags to Umaga. Umaga with a kick to Lashley's face. Umaga charges at Lashley who jumps over him and nails a clothesline. Umaga with a headbutt but Lashley then clotheslines Umaga over the top rope. Lashley throws Shane to the outside. Lashley dares Vince to come into the ring. Shane does though and gets a delayed vertical suplex for his troubles. Lashley drop toe holds Umaga and Shane low bridges the ropes and Lashley goes to the outside. Lashley gets thrown shoulder first into the steel steps by Umaga. Umaga with a leg drop in the ring. Shane tags in who applies an armlock. Lashley counters with a one armed powerbomb for a two count! Shane tags to Umaga who kicks Lashley in the ribs. Umaga with a bear hug but Lashley fights back until Umaga nails a samoan drop.

Umaga tags to Shane who nails elbows to Lashley's hurting back. Shane applies a camel clutch but Lashley picks up Shane on his back and drives him back first into the corner. Lashley with a t-bone suplex and body drop. Lashley picks up Shane and nails a torture rack back breaker and then spears Umaga! Lashley nails the dominator on Shane and covers but Vince breaks up the count! Lashley grabs Vince and goes for the dominator but Umaga nails the thumb to Lashley's throat and Shane follows up with nailing Lashley in the head with the ECW title. Vince wants to be tagged and is. Vince covers but only gets a two count. Vince is pissed and Lashley rolls up Vince but Shane breaks it up! Vince tags Umaga and tells him to finish him. Umaga goes up top and nails a huge splash. Vince tags back in and covers but again only a two count! Vince tags out to Umaga again who goes up top and nails another splash and Vince tags in and pins Lashley for the win! Winner: New ECW Champion Vince McMahon

Backstage Vince, Shane, and Umaga celebrate. Vince and Shane run into Rob Van Dam, Sabu, The Sandman, and Tommy Dreamer. Vince says nobody is more extreme than him and mocks all four of the ECW Originals before walking off.

Match 5: Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: (Champion) The Undertaker vs. Batista
Taker with a big boot and elbows. Batista with an elbow. Taker goes for the chokeslam but Batista with more elbows. Taker works on Batista's arm and nails Old School. Batista counters with a front slam. Taker gets up at a 6 count. Batista then throws Taker to the outside. Batista nails Taker face first into the apron but Taker counters and nails him face first into the steel steps. Batista is up at 4. Taker works on Batista's injured knee near the announce table. Taker places Batista on the apron and nails a huge leg drop. Batista makes it to his feet at 5. Batista tosses Taker knees first into the steel steps. In the ring Batista goes up top but Taker soon follows and superplexes Batista all the way down to the mat. Taker is up at 7, while Batista is down until 8. Taker and Batista fight back and forth but Batista nails a running clothesline but Taker is up at 8. Batista with another clothesline but this time Taker is up at 5. Batista with a front slam and leg drop. Taker makes it to his feet at 6. Taker low bridges Batista to the outside. Taker takes off the moniters on the announce table but Batista catches Taker and drives him back first into the barricade. Taker is up at 5. Taker nails Batista back first unto his knee. Batista is up at 6. Taker grabs the steel steps and nails Batista right in the head with them! Batista gets up at the count of 6. Batista is busted open.

Taker places Batista on the announce table. Taker goes on top of the fan barricade and runs nailing a leg drop onto Batista busting the announce table in two! Batista barely makes it to the count of 9. Taker throws Batista back into the ring. Taker with a clothesline in the corner. Batista counters Taker's snake eyes with a spear! Taker is up at 7 but walks into a spinebuster from Batista. Taker is up at 5 but Batista with two more spinebusters! Taker barely makes his feet at 9. Batista goes for the Batista Bomb but Taker counters with a chokeslam! Batista is up at 9! Taker mounts Batista in the corner with punches but Batista counters with a huge Batista Bomb! Referee starts the count and Taker gets up at 9! Batista is pissed and grabs a steel chair and nails Taker in the face with it! Batista goes to Batista Bomb Taker on the chair but Taker counters with a back body drop! Batista is up at 5. Taker calls for the tombstone and nails it! But Batista makes it to his feet at 9! Taker boots Batista to the outside and follows Batista up the entrance ramp fighting back and forth. Once up there Taker picks up Batista and goes to slam him off the entrance way but Batista counters and spears Undertaker all the way down 10 feet unto the fireworks area! Fireworks go off and part of the Backlash stage falls on top of Batista and Taker! The referee makes the count but neither man can make it to their feet by the count of 10! Winner: Draw; The Undertaker retains his title

Match 6: Fatal Four Way for the WWE Championship: (Champion) John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton
All four stare each other down. Cena and HBK talk about something and Orton and Edge get into their faces. HBK and Cena then attack Orton and Edge clotheslining both men over the top rope. HBK then chops Cena but Cena comes back with a fisherman suplex for a two count. Michaels counters with a swinging neckbreaker. Orton clotheslines Michaels and Edge clotheslines Cena. Orton and Edge stare each other down and punch away at each other. Michaels pulls Orton of the ring and Cena shows up and clotheslines them both on the outside. Edge then baseball slides Cena's back. Edge tosses Orton shoulder first into the steel steps and nails a body slam to Cena. Michaels then body slams Edge and goes up top and nails a moonsault on the outside to Cena, Edge, and Orton! Michaels tosses Edge into the ring and chops away at him. Edge counters but both men knock each other down with double clotheslines! Cena goes up top and nails a double leg drop to the back of Edge and Michael's necks! Cena covers Michaels for two. Orton nails a running clothesline to Cena.

Orton then tosses Michaels and Edge to the outside. Orton takes offense to the comment Cena said earlier about him and punches away at him but Cena fights back. Cena gets the better but Orton counters with a back breaker for two. Cena fights back and charges but Orton moves and Cena goes shoulder first into the ring post and out of the ring. Michaels nails a flying elbow to Orton and nips up but Edge nails a spinning heel kick to HBK. Edge covers Michaels but Orton pulls him off! Orton then covers Michaels but Edge pulls him off too! Orton and Edge then double team Michaels with an irish whip. Edge then knocks Cena off the apron onto the announce table. Edge and Orton continue to double team Michaels by flipping him over the turnbuckle and nailing a back body drop. Orton and Edge then apply a double boston crab on HBK! Cena then flies into the ring and nails a double blockbuster to Edge and Orton. Cena with clotheslines and shoulder blocks to Orton, Edge, and Michaels. Cena with a spinning powerbomb to Edge and follows with the five knuckle shuffle. Michaels and Orton double team Cena and throws him face first into the ring post on the outside. HBK then turns on Orton and throws him face first into the ring post too! Michaels places Orton on the announce table and goes to piledrive him but Edge nails Michaels in the back with a chair. Orton gives Edge a thumbs up but then Edge nails Orton in the head with the chair too!

Edge goes to nail Cena with the chair but Cena drop toe holds Edge and applies the STFU! Edge makes it to the ropes. Orton rushes in and Cena drop toe holds him and applies the STFU to him too! Cena then grabs Michaels and tries to apply the lock on him but Michaels with an inside cradle for a two count. Michaels tosses Edge and Orton to the outside. Michaels slams Cena and goes up top and nails an elbow drop. Michaels then slams Edge and nails another elbow drop. Orton gets slammed too by Michaels and Michaels goes up top but Cena catches him and tries to FU HBK from the top rope when Orton and Edge come behind Cena and they all fall to the mat, with Orton and Edge nailing a electric chair on Cena and Cena nailing a samoan drop to Michaels! Cena goes for the FU to Edge but Edge counters Cena and Cena counters Edge's DDT and is about to FU Edge but Michaels comes in and Cena picks him up too! But Michaels counters and jumps off Cena's back right into an RKO by Orton! Edge then nails a DDT on Cena for a two count. Edge goes to spear Cena but Cena jumps and Edge almost spears Orton but stops and turns right into Cena who is about to FU Edge but Edge counters and jumps off Cena's back and spears Orton! Wow this stuff is amazing! Cena then FU's Edge! HBK then nails the Sweet Chin Music to Cena who falls back first unto Orton and pins him before Michaels can break up the count. Cena wins! Winner: John Cena

WWE Spoilers: Backlash Main Event Planned

According to sources, the original plan for Backlash - the next WWE pay-per-view, which will feature all three brands - was to replay the two main events from Wrestlemania 23.

Now, however, it's not as clear that Batista vs. The Undertaker will take place again. Many insiders believe that feud has run its course.

Especially after the events at WWE RAW last night, though, it's pretty much certain that Shawn Michaels will challenge John Cena again for the title.
