WWE RAW Main Event Set for SummerSlam
As previously reported, Triple H will be taking on The Great Khali in the Smackdown main event at Summerslam. We can't believe it, either.
Now, assuming last night's WWE RAW results stick, CM Punk will be challenged by JBL in the other main event.
Do either of these matches excite you? Or do they seem incredibly lame for one of the company's biggest pay-per-views?

every year summerslam is good enough and makes unforgiven look really slow and dull and just plain boring. But by having two good rivlary matches at summerslam and two dissapointing world title matches it would be just obvious to see a triple h vs jeff hardy main event or a cena vs batista vs cm punk main event making unforgiven good.

The Triple H vs Great Khaki match would be interesting. Though I admit that the Great Khali was the last person I had in mind for a WWE title match. But the CM Punk vs JBL match is just plain awful.
I DO NOT CARE ABOUT CM PUNK! He shouldn't be champion in the first place. In fact, he sucks as a World Champion. JBL, on the other hand, would be great as both a heel and World Champion. He was a great Champ in 2004 and he would be a great champ this year.

I think they dimmed down the main events on purpose so the Hell in a Cell match and the Cena/Batista match will be the highlights of the show. Those matches would probably outshine a good main event anyway, so why waste the impact of a C.M. Punk/Chris Jericho match, or HHH/Jeff Hardy when they can scheduel the matches for another ppv that will give them better build up.
