WWE Results: Monday Night RAW, 6-23-08
Forgive this brief WWE RAW report, as we're just too shaken up by the condition of Vince McMahon to go into much detail...
There will be a series of matches that determine which brand makes a pick in this year's WWE Draft. Up first:
Triple H vs. Mark Henry
Winner: Triple H
Raw Draft Pick: Rey Mysterio
In the back, Triple H welcomes Rey to WWE Raw. John Cena is there. Cena doesn't appreciate The Game kicking his ass last week when Cena made the save. The Game doesn't want or need his help. He says they've tip-toed around this and now it's personal. He never got over Wrestlemania 22 because he knows he is better than Cena.
Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes vs. Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely
Winners: Holly and Rhodes
Raw Draft Pick: CM Punk
Shawn Michaels out to contront Chris Jericho! He's got that angry look on his face and heads for the ring. Spear⦠brawl! HBK tackles Y2J and they go to the floor. Jericho sends Michaels face-first into the announce table and Shawn is hurt again. EMTs are down to tend to Michaels as Jerichio smiles.
John Morrison and The Miz vs. The Hardys

Vince McMahon gives away $500,000 to one lucky fan. After he gives away the money, a piece of the Raw set falls down and explodes next to Vince. EMT âs come from the back, put Vince on a stretcher and try to slide him out. He regains consciousness and says âPaulâ¦Paul,â which was directed at Triple H. Trips tells him to relax and not to move. The show ends with Vince saying âPaul, I canât feel my legs.â

totally fake i was at the show and saw a stage hand pull a part on the stage to make the stage fall and cause vince to fall...than it was set up to where the sign would fall but not hit vince at all....would have beleived it if i didnt see the stage guy....sux

Remember that the name of the game is "Sports Entertainment". I really don't even understand why people are trying to debate the issue. I have seen several websites and comments posted debating the reality of the "accident" that injured Vince McMahon.
The real question is, "Were you entertained?" Did your heart nearly jump out of your chest when it happened? Did John Wayne really kill 600 Indians with a six-shooter without re-loading? Do you really believe that Rocky could beat up that 300 pound Russian? If it was a "work", it was a great show and it was a very creative way to end the Million Dollar Mania. If it is a "shoot", I can guarantee you some heads will roll. Check out the WWE employment web site. If nobody has been fired and there are no new openings in the creative department, it is a work. If it is a work, I congratulate the WWE. They were even able to put one over on the smarks out there.
