John Cena
In a recent interview with The Sun, John Cena had a lot to say regarding Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, noting that Johnson always wanted to be an actor and that he set the precedent of using professional wrestling as a stepping stone.
"...And Rock is one of those guy who gave the 'I've wanted to do this all my life' speech, but in actuality he wanted to be an actor. Now trust me, that is totally fine with me. It's OK. But just don't say one thing and do another. Because our fans are extremely loyal and when yo do that it pisses me off," Cena said.
"All of us work so hard to make the show as good as it can be. So it's hard when people give the impression of 'this is the greatest gig in the world' and then jump ship to make movies. Now I have every interviewer in the world asking me when I'm leaving to make movies - and the answer is I'm never doing that, because I love wrestling more than I do movies.
"It's guys like that who set the precedent of using wrestling as a stepping stone to do films. But there's no controversy to any of that - as Rock is a successful actor and that's what he has always wanted to be."
Cena also spoke positively on John Morrison:
"Iâm actually quite interested in seeing The Miz and John Morrison in a high profile PPV match against Kane and CM Punk. I've never really been a fan of Morrison, but I always thought he had a lot of potential. I hope he understands the opportunity heâs getting and steps up to the plate."
What do you make of Cena's comments about The Rock? It's hard for us to find fault in anything The Rock has done, as it's perfectly acceptable to love wrestling, love movies and then give up the former to focus on the latter eventually.

I think John Cena is full of ish. I don't know where he gets off criticizing anyone for pursuing careers outside of the WWE you can't wrestle forever. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a pretty good actor and he was popular and he knew that his popularity would transfer from the ring to movies. If thats what he wants to do then thats his right. Who wants to be like Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, still in the ring in their 50's. I for one can appreciate what Rock did and wish him well and I KNOW that it won't be long before John Cena has left the WWE for Hollywood, the only thing that would stop him is the fact that he isn't that great of an actor.
And to cyndiann, why would he want to be listed as The Rock? Thats not his name. John Cena gets to be John Cena all the time, its his character and his real name.

i would love for a rock vs. cena match but from the looks of things it doesnt look like its gonna happen... as for his comments i agree with him ...why does the rock say he loves wrestling and misses it at the hall of fame but outside of wrestling doesnt wanna be called the rock anymore? look at the film credits it says "dwayne johnson" i get it, he wants to only be an actor, nobody is saying he has to comeback full-time but why cant he make appearences once and a while like stone cold? hell he could have shown up for the 15th anniversary since he was a big part of it...and those who say cena is jealous... that doesn make sense if he was jealous then why would he want him to comeback?... i dont think cena will leave wwe for movies i mean he just did another movie and is back full time he truly loves this business... hes not the only one that feels this way but hes they only one whith enough guts to say anything

Well... forget about making a match between cena & the rock. See cena don't know what he's is talkin bout, I love cena and all but I have to tell him this, would you really, really say that after you done did the marine movie. Just think for a real long time cena, you wrestled for a long time and did a action movie. Now you got the hollywood bug, Just like "the rock", you will do another movie then show less of your face on wwe. another movie you will just make an appernace not wrestle just talk and clown around just like the rock did when raw or smackdown had that diva search. then not show your face at all.. so cena don't tell us what you think your fans what to hear cuz we all know you been hit by the movie bug. Now that's actuality, all of us love you dearly I just wanted to let you hear the truth or read the truth from a real fan.

vince shud make a match between the rock and cena dis wm 25 ......ref none othr dan da texas rattlesnake...dat would be a hig profile classic.............cuz austin 's gonna kick ass both cena nd da rock wit his devastating stunners nd drink some beers ....................all hell yeah!!!!
