Who Will Retire Ric Flair at Wrestlemania 24?
As everyone might expect, WrestleMania XXIV is expected to be the culmination of Ric Flair's retirement storyline and his final match in WWE.
So, who will the legend fight? Who will put an end to his career? Two names that have been discussed as possible opponents for Flair have been Mr. Kennedy and Shawn Michaels. Right now, HBK appears to be the leading candidate to be Flair's final opponent.
Do you agree with this decision? Wouldn't it be better to give someone like Kennedy the huge bump of ending Flair's career? We love Michaels, but the long-term interests of the WWE would lean toward a younger wrestling having the honor of defeating Flair.

The fact that Flair will not be going out losing the 17th Championship is honestly TRAGIC. Hogan being his last opponent. The thought is an ABSOLUTE disgrace to all that Ric Flair has done for professional wrestling. Why have an egotistical person who does not respect Flair wrestle him his last match? HHH would be a great candidate, but Michaels is the the BEST. As for showmen Michaels and Flair are not equaled by anyone I can remember in the way they sell. Memorable Wrestlemania moments Michaels has a reputation for giving. And what match of Flair's is not memorable for one reason or another? I see this one as a Flair/Steamboat style match-up both putting it all out in a smooth physical story that needs no words written or spoken.

as much as i agree about it being hbk i do not agree on kennedy. the wwe are not gonna allow someone who hasnt even been champion to retire a legend like ric flair so yes it could be hbk but also have you thought of these options?
hulk hogan legend vs legend how good would it be if he retired against him? and i know this one is a long shot and ive heard rumors that this person will be inducting his dad at the hall of fame so it kinda got me thinking. the wwe want him to come back even if its just for mania so maybe the rock? i know a total long shot but this is mania. it could happen. never say never
