Brock Lesnar Loses UFC Debut

Brock Lesnar lost his in-rin UFC debut last night.

The former WWE champion was booed heavily during his entrance, as fans made it known he couldn't just waltz in their arena and expect to succeed.

Frank Mir then spoiled Lesnar's UCF debut, grabbing Lesnar's leg and securing a kneebar that forced him to submit at 1:30 of the first round.

"I wasnt worried about the fight being stopped," Mir said. "I had Brock Lesnar dropping elbows on the top of my head, but I still came through with the submission."

Lesnar looked impressive early, but was unable to overcome the more experienced ground game of the former champion.

"I came out trying to pressure Frank but he's a world class jui-jitsu guy," Lesnar said. "You win some, you lose some

WWE Spoilers: Smackdown Main Event for Wrestlemania 24

We've already discussed that the plan for the WWE RAW main event at Wrestlemania 24 will be Triple H vs. John Cena, with a slight possibiity that Randy Orton will be thrown in to a three-way.

On the Smackdown side: Plans call for Undertaker to win SmackDown's Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, which means that it will be Edge vs. Undertaker for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 24.

WWE has been planning an Undertaker vs. Edge WrestleMania match ever since Edge's move to SmackDown last spring. Who would you wanna see win that match?

Who Will Retire Ric Flair at Wrestlemania 24?

As everyone might expect, WrestleMania XXIV is expected to be the culmination of Ric Flair's retirement storyline and his final match in WWE.

So, who will the legend fight? Who will put an end to his career? Two names that have been discussed as possible opponents for Flair have been Mr. Kennedy and Shawn Michaels. Right now, HBK appears to be the leading candidate to be Flair's final opponent.

Do you agree with this decision? Wouldn't it be better to give someone like Kennedy the huge bump of ending Flair's career? We love Michaels, but the long-term interests of the WWE would lean toward a younger wrestling having the honor of defeating Flair.

WWE Rumors: CM Punk in Trouble

Many fans are wondering why CM Punk lost the ECW title to Chavo Guerrero.

This, of course, was followed by a clean loss to Edge on SmackDown and being an elimination by Chavo at the Royal Rumble.

The wrestler, supposedly is in "the dog house" again. The story backstage is that Punk isn't listening to the road agents who dictate his matches and that his house show matches lately have been considered to be "indy level sloppy."

CM Punk Picture

Once again, CM Punk is rumored to be causing problems backstage.

Moreover, the agents aren't too pleased that he reportedly laughs about his botches in matches when he comes backstage.

As if that weren't enough, there appears to be another political issue of some sort involving Punk hitting on the wrong person in the company. Sounds intriguing. We'll keep you posted.
