According to a report by Dave Metlzer on Yahoo Sports, Brock Lesnar will likely make his return to the octagon for the UFC this August. He'll face heavyweight Justin McCully.

Lesnar, of course, had his debut fight with the UFC on February 2 in Las Vegas. He lost in the first round to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir.

Earlier this week, we published a rant John Cena supposedly went on against The Rock.

Turns out, however, that Cena's comments to the British newspaper The Sun were taken a bit out of context, in order to make him look far more bitter toward The Rock than he actually is.

Cena was quoted as saying: "At one point Rock loved wrestling and wanted to do this all his life. So explain to me why he can’t come back." The Sun ended the quote there, but John actually added:

"So explain to me why he can't come back for our 15th anniversary show or why he can’t make an appearance at WrestleMania. I wish he’d just show up, say hi and leave. Do the eyebrow once and get out of town."

Cena also said: "He's genuinely a nice guy. I've met him. And a fantastic human being... But I think we all know now that he wants to be an actor. And there's nothing wrong with that, because he’s truly found another passion. He's good at acting. His films make money."

Those two quotes were omitted from the article.

Here are the WWE Friday Night Smackdown tapings for tomorrow, February 29:

- The Big Show defeated two unknown opponents. After the match, The Big Show cut a promo on Floyd Mayweather.

- Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore defeated Deuce and Domino.

- Chuck Palumbo defeated Jamie Noble.

- Batista has offered his services to represent Smackdown to face Umaga at WrestleMania in the Raw vs. Smackdown match.

- Batista and Kane defeated The Great Khali and WWE U.S. Champion MVP.

- Jesse and Festus defeated WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz in a Non-Title Match.

- Big Daddy V vs. Balls Mahoney ended in a No Contest when The Undertaker came out and gave Mahoney a chokeslam. Undertaker demanded that Edge came out. Edge & The Edgeheads then came out leading to...

- The Undertaker defeated Zach Ryder.

We don't typically report on celebrity gossip, but the following story is too juicy to pass up:

Christiane Plante (pictured), a 33-year old music producer who is friends with Brooke Hogan and worked on her 2006 album, has told The National Enquirer she had an affair with Hulk Hogan. It supposedly took place while the family was filming its reality show and, of course, Hulk was still married to Linda.

Here's what Plante had to say about it:

“My relationship with Terry began at a time when Terry and Linda privately knew their marriage was ending. She had left him already, although no official papers had been filed. Terry is a good man, good father and a good friend, and he and I grew close at a time when he was going through a very difficult period.

It seemed right then, but I know it was wrong. Having felt the guilt and pain build up, I gave a note to Brooke apologizing for my actions. I will never be able to fully forgive myself for this. I have lost an amazing friend.”

Sorry, Christiane, but you get no sympathy from us. Hulk is certainly to blame for his actions, but you consciously screwed over a friend. Literally.

The moment famed Playboy photographer Arny Freytag laid eyes on Maria Kanellis in person, he instantly knew she’d be the perfect cover girl.

“When I watched her wrestle, I didn’t see a lot of close ups, so I couldn’t get a real image of what she looked like. And you wear clothes in wrestling, and are being flipped upside down and sideways, so I didn’t really know how beautiful she was until I met her,” Freytag told WWE.com.

The following TNA iMPACT tapings will air tomorrow night, February 28:

- Booker T came out to the ring and called out Robert Roode. Payton Banks came out instead and told Booker that Robert was here, but that she had a message for him. Banks slapped Booker. Traci Brooks ran out and attacked Banks.

- Scott Steiner & Petey Williams defeated TNA X Division Champion "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt.

- Team 3D came out set to face Shark Boy and Curry Man once again, but neither could make weight. Shark Boy then issued a challenge to anyone to face them; out come Black Reign and Rellik.

- Shark Boy & Curry Man defeated Black Reign & Rellik. 3D attempted to interfere in the match until Kaz got involved. Kaz got a 3D for his troubles.

- Robert Roode then came out to the ring and called out Booker T. Booker runs out and the two brawl. Booker ends up getting handcuffed to the ropes when Payton Banks gets involved. Traci Brooks tries to make the save, but gets taken out and handcuffed, too.

- James Storm defeated Eric Young in a Ladder Match to capture the World Drinking Championship. Jackie Moore got the belt for Storm because Storm was "afraid" to climb up the ladder since he is playing up he is scared of heights before Elevation X. Rhino came out and gave Storm a Gore and took the belt from him.

- TNA Women's Champion Awesome Kong defeated Angelina Love. ODB and Gail Kim took Kong out after the match. Kong vs. ODB vs. Kim at Destination X for the TNA Women's Title was announced.

- TNA World Champion Kurt Angle defeated Kevin Nash. During the match, Karen Angle got bumped off the ring apron and AJ Styles carried her to the back.

Attention, Rey Mysterio fans:

It's possible that this high-flyer may be back within six weeks after he undergoing surgery for his torn today.

The surgery will take place in San Diego. It was originally scheduled for Friday, but was pushed back so Mysterio could be part of the WrestleMania 24 press conference.
