WWE Rumors: Rey Mysterio to RAW?

Writer Brian Gewirtz is pushing to get Rey Mysterio on Monday Night Raw.

The WWE employee noted that Mysterio is huge with children - just like John Cena has been - and there are a ton of fresh opponents for him to face on the RAW brand. There has been talk in the past of moving Rey to Raw, but it has really picked up in the last few weeks.

Right now, the decision is up in the air. We'd love to see Mysterio on Monday nights, but it would severely hurt Smackdown, a show already in need of star power.

WWE Rumors: An Angle for Lilian Garcia?

Lilian Garcia recently proposed a storyline to management. It would involve people somehow confuseing her with Jillian Hall.

The WWE Diva wants to be involved in an angle to help promote her new music album, ¡Quiero Vivir!, which was released yesterday.

Historically, Lilian has vehemently opposed doing certain angles. For instance, when the Viscera and Lilian love storyline was taking place, she protested against being involved in it. Hence, whole thing was prematurely cancelled.

This time, after Jillian's name had been screwed up time after time, she'd finally snap and do something to the beautiful blonde Latina ring announcer. This would then lead to Battle of the Bands/American Idol style event that would help Garcia sell albums.

WWE RAW Rating Drops

Monday's night's edition of Monday Night RAW did a 2.8 cable rating, which is down from last week’s 3.2 cable rating.

RAW posted hours of 2.8 and 2.8. Coming off a big PPV with three WWE title matches and two title changes for one title, there is definitely concern. But Monday Night Football and the Major League Baseball Playoffs may have played a role int he final numbers.

Chris Jericho Elaborates on WWE Return

Chris Jericho was interviewed by London's The Daily Star. Below is what he said in regards to rumors of his return to WWE:

"You never know. I did it before and I can do it again. I've been gone for two years and that's a lifetime in wrestling. I seem to be caught in a controversial buzz at the moment. I'm a little confused as there's a lot of speculation but as always in these situations I'm the last to know. These stories seem to swim around every three to four months since I left WWE. It's good to know fans are bringing my name up - there's nothing wrong with people talking about Chris Jericho.

I always said if I were to go back I would only go if I could make a difference and be better than ever. I don't have to come back at all, certainly not financially. I want to have some fun, be different and be better. I walked away on my own terms, so it's good to see I still have as much leeway two years later."

Ric Flair Sues Car Dealership

Ric Flair is suing a car dealership in Columbia, S.C., claiming it is using his name, slogans and likeness in radio and TV ads without his permission.

According to a lawsuit filed in federal court, Freedom Suzuki is using a character named Captain Freedom, who bears a resemblance to Flair and even mentions him by name. The character uses two of Flair's signature slogans - "Woooo!" and "to be the man, you have to beat the man."

According to TMZ.com, the lawsuit goes on to say that the company approached Flair earlier this year about a deal to use his name and likeness in advertising, but an agreement was never reached - and Flair never agreed to have his name or image used.

Flair is now asking for the dealership to pull the ads and is seeking unspecified damages.
