Kurt Angle tells Karen to go have sex with Nash. Well, okay then.

Sonjay Dutt vs Shark Boy vs Havoc vs Petey Williams
Cut short by 3D. Team 3D beats down all four men.
No Contest

Robert Roode and Brooks are in the back with Crystal. Roode wants his title shot. He’s tired of seeing the same guys having the top spots. Last week he took down Samoa Joe, and tonight in his match with Fatu, he will be one step closer to being heavyweight champion.

World Title Match: Kurt Angle vs Sting
A few minutes in, Nash comes to ringside and sits, watching the match. Sting hits Nash. Nash interferes, there’s a ref bump, Angle hits the Angle Slam and Hebner comes out to count the 3.
Winner and New World Champion: Kurt Angle

The refs argue and Cornette comes to the ring. Cornette is taking the refs to the back and they are going to watch the tape and decide on the outcome.

In Cornette’s office Nash is yelling at Cornette, demanding a match with Angle.

Fight For The Right Quarter Finals: Robert Roode vs Junior Fatu

Christian Cage comes out and does commentary with Don West. Fatu wins after the interference from Joe
Winner: Fatu

Cornette says Kurt Angle is the champion. But at Genesis there will be a tag team match for the World Title. Nash and Kurt vs Sting and… Sting comes out and says he will find his own partner. Whoever gets the win in the match is the new champ.

WWE Diva Search Contest Throws Support Behind Eve Torres

Lena Yada was eliminated from the WWE Diva Search contest Monday night on Raw.

Now, she's posted a blog on her MySpace regarding her experience throughout the WWE competition Mainly, Lena says Brooke Gilbertsen shouldn't win the contest and that she's pulling for Eve Torres. Here's what she had to say regarding Brooke:

"I'm rooting for Eve all the way. Sorry Brooke fans...I still think she's a sweetheart, but she's not there for the right reasons. She just there to have fun. She brought print out pages of all the WWE wrestlers to see if she could memorize them (she didn't know anyone besides Candice!), has no clue STILL what a heel or face is, thinks she can wrestle because its all a show and they would help her out by jumping and falling for her.

Don't get me wrong I LIKE the girl. I just think she's got her head in the clouds, doesn't deserve to win it, and doesnt give enough dedication or commitment to WWE that it deserves.

Former WWE Star Coming to TNA

Fans just received a text from TNA Mobile that read: "The former IC and European Champion rumored to be coming to work for TNA is D'Lo Brown. His role in the company at this point is unknown."

Miz makes his way down to the ring with Extreme Expose. He grabs a mic and says that this Sunday at Cyber Sunday the fans have an important decision to make. He then goes on to criticize Big Daddy V by making fun of his size and claiming that Big V only got the better end of Miz last week because he was attacked from behind. He then calls Morrison and his entrance fruity and says that neither V or Morrison can compare to that of the Miz as he begins to boast amongst E.E. Before he leaves, he states that he has one more piece of matter he must adress. Miz turns his attention to Kelly and says that Kelly was strictly forbidden to go out on a date with Mahoney last week and because she violated her contract, Miz threatens that he can fire Kelly from ECW if he desires. Instead he claims to make life miserable every week.

ecw1.jpg Suddenly, John Morrison's music hits the arena and he makes his way down to the ring. Morrison says no one will vote for Miz at CS and then begins his usual routine of the Tuesday Night Delight junk. Morrison asks Kelly why she even bothers associating herself with a loser like the Miz. Morrison further goes on to say that perhaps Kelly will enjoy spending a night with Morrison. In retaliation, Kelly slaps Morrison as Mahoney makes his way down to the ring. He is immediately doubled teamed by Miz and Morrison and then gets kicked out of the ring. While Miz braggs, Morrison hurls Miz over the top rope and he begins celebrating. Out comes CM Punk. He strikes Morrison with a few kicks and proceeds to clothesline Morrison over the top rope.

Match 1: Big Daddy V vs. Kane

Match starts off with Kane striking Big V with a couple of punches, but to no luck. Big V, ultimately nails a powerful clothesline to Kane knocking him down. Big V goes on to manhandle Kane with two strong powerslams.

Back, Big V has an STF locked on Kane. Kane barely manages to reach the ropes, but not only gets pulled back, but Big V literally does a body splash damaging Kanes ribs. Big V hammers Kane with a numerous forearm shots. Moments later, the momentum begins to shift in favor of Kane when Kane nails Big V with a high sounding uppercut. Big V stumbles as Kane replies with clotheslines of his own. Kane goes up on top for his signature flying clothesline. He nails it perfectly, but the match ends in a DQ when Mark Henry hits the ring and attacks Kane.

Kane is being decimated by both Henry and Big V. Kane begins fighting both of the super-heavyweights off, but The Great Khali makes his way down to the ring and attempts to strike a wounded Kane. However, Big V is upset and pushes Khali with great force and focus’s on Kane. However Khali is angered and begins a beatdown on Big V sending him right out of the ring. Henry, who is still in the ring, nails a running body splash knocking Khali off his feet and out of the ring. Henry then attempts to beat Kane, but Kane dodges Henry’s body splash and nails a big boot and sends him out of the ring! as he holds his lower abdomen in pain.

We then go to Punk’s lockeroom where he and Balls Mahoney are talking strategy. The two go off topic when Punk asks Mahoney how his date with Kelly was last week. Mahoney simply gives an akward laugh and smiles. Punk says “that was disturbing.” Mahoney responds by saying that is exactly what Kelly had said during their date and walks off.

Match 2: Elijah Burke vs. Nunzio
Nunzio is frustrated and begins to trash talk and shoves Burke. Burke smiles and pushes Nunzio so hard that he falls to the ground. Burke is pretty much in control from this point on. Nunzio does from time to time show some heart as he tries to ground Burke, but he just seems to unsuccessful in doing that. Burke teases the crowd on multiple occasions with his out limits elbow drop, etc. The end of the match comes when Nunzio has all momentum going for him and he goes up on top for double axe handle. Uh-Oh. When he lands, he is caught in position for an STO. Elijah nails the Elijah Express and this bout is over.

Match 3: Morrison & Miz vs. Mahoney & CM Punk

Punk and Miz start out with an early lock up. Punk takes advantage and applys a head-lock. A great deal of reversals are applied, but Punk eventually takes down Miz with a moonsault and proceeds to tag Mahoney in. During this time, a series of tags are dealt with between Mahoney and Punk as they both work on Miz’s arm. Miz appears to be in a world of trouble until he pulls Mahoney’s hair to cause a distraction and tags in Morrison. Mahoney elbows Morrison and is in control until Morrison nails a dropkick. Mahoney drops Morrison and goes up on top for a flying leg drop (WOW) and terribly misses as Morrison moves out of harms way. Miz & Morrison are really in the offensive at this point with Mahoney being hurt.

The two seem to function as a cohereant tag team, but continue to bicker from time to time. Crowd gets behind Mahoney, but to no luck as Morrison boasts and nails a high roundhouse kick to the head of Mahoney. Miz is tagged in. Crowd gets even louder this time and Mahoney explodes with a thunderous clothesline leaving both men down for the 10 count. The two however makes it to their respective corners and tags in their partners. Punk begins to dominate both Miz & Morrison. Punk nails his high knee attack to Miz in the corner however is pushed into Morrison who hit head-to-head against each other when Punk attempts to hit the bulldog.

Miz tries to clothesline Punk who avoids it and Miz nails Morrison. Mahoney comes in the ring and sends Miz out of the ring for his troubles. Morrison is up on spagetti legs, but is captured in position for Punk’s GTS for the teams loss.

Candice Michelle Injury Update

After her fall last night, Candice Michelle was diagnosed with a concussion and a broken collar bone.

There's no time table yet for her return, but in August, Santino Marella bruised his collar bone after taking a bad bump from Umaga. That injury put him out of in-ring competition for about a month.

Look for Candice to be out a bit longer than that, as we wish her a speedy recovery.

WWE Results: Monday Night RAW, 10-22-07

The following report is courtesy of lordsofpain.net...

We begin with Kennedy already in the ring. He puts over Cyber Sunday, saying that everyone has an opportunity to make history by choosing who will face Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. On the one hand, you have IC Champ Jeff Hardy. Hardy is like Hilary Clinton (mad boos), what with the famous last name and blonde hair. Jeff can't get the job done because like Hilary, he has no testicles. On the other hand, you have Shawn Michaels. Shawn is like Rudy Giuliani. Both talk big and have good resumes, but both live in the past.

Kennedy asks Shawn what he's done for him lately, because it's nowhere near as impressive as what he's done over the past two years: US Champ, Money in the Bank, beating Rey, Batista, and even The Undertaker. So to paraphrase a famous politician, "Ask not what Mr. Kennedy can do for you, but what you can do for Mr. Kennedy." If elected, Kennedy will win the title, and there will be a new Champion... Mr. Kennedy.

Kennedy is interrupted with a "Yo! Kennedy, over here, dude." Jeff Hardy is standing in the crowd. Jeff says Kennedy's approval rating sucks. Kennedy says that Jeff does not want to debate Kennedy - his success speaks for itself. Jeff makes his way through the fans as Kennedy insults the crowd and accuses Jeff of begging for votes. Jeff says Kennedy failed when he tried to be a McMahon, and failed when he tried to beat Jeff Hardy, and come Cyber Sunday, he'll fail again. Jeff says there's one vote he can win, and asks the crowd how many people want to see him beat the holy hell out of Kennedy right now. The crowd cheers, and Hardy jumps in the ring, but Orton comes down and they team up on Hardy. HBK comes down and takes out Orton before Orton can get the big kick off, and Hardy clotheslines Kennedy out of the ring. Hardy is left standing in the ring with his music playing.

raw.jpgMickie James, London, and Kendrick v. Melina, Cade, and Murdoch
Lance Cade starts out against Paul London. London up early with a headlock takeover, but Cade throws him into the ropes and hits a shoulderblock. Cade in control until London hits a crossbody, and tags in Kendrick for a doubleteam sunset flip that gets a 2 count. London is tagged back in, and he hits an axehandle on to Cades waiting arm. London tags Kendrick back in and he does the same. Kendrick tags Mickie, which brings in Melina. Mickie with a few kicks that leave Melina scrambling to tag Murdoch. Kendrick comes in to meat him and Murdoch hits a few moves and tags in Cade. Cade takes control, hits a few knees, and tags in Murdoch. Double-team Legdrop on Kendrick, but only gets a two count. Murdoch tags back in Cade, and Cade gets met with a dropkick by Kendrick.

Cade tags in Murdoch, and Kendrick leaps and tags in London. London hits a spinning heel kick, but gets interrupted at the pinfall attempt when Lance Cade comes in and breaks everything up. Murdoch gets up, shoves Mickie down, and gets ready to hit a double team move on London. Mickie jumps back in and eliminates Melina with a Thesz press, when a charging Cade accidentally hits Murdoch with a clothesline, who then falls out of the ring. London hits a standing shooting star on Murdoch, and gets the pin. They celebrate, but Mickie looks cautious, as if something happened that wasn't supposed to happen.
Winners: Kendrick, London, and Mickie

Cody is in the back reading the new WWE Magazine, when Shelton and Haas come up to him and make fun of him for losing to Bob Holly. Shelton says the good news is that he won't be getting beaten up by Bob tonight, but he'll still be beaten up by Shelton in their match. Cody says the difference is that he actually respects Bob Holly, and makes fun of Shelton's blonde hair. Shelton says after tonight, Cody should dye his hair blonde, so he can be a younger, less talented, skinnier, uglier version of his father. As they walk away, Haas snaps his fingers and says "Oh Snap!"

Coach and Regal are talking. Apparently Vince is out of the country, and Coach is asking for a match against Hornswoggle tonight. Regal says Vince probably set up Coach to get embarassed last week. Coach says Vince isn't sane anymore, because he things Hornswoggle is a child. By booking the match tonight, Regal is doing a favor to the entire McMahon family, giving them that much more inheritance if Hornswoggle is eliminated. Regal agrees to the match, but Coach says he isn't going to fight Hornswoggle... but Umaga will. Regal thinks about it, and walks away.

Cody Rhodes v. Shelton Benjamin

Shelton starts off wiht a kick to the midsection, and pounds Cody in the corner. Shelton starts working on Cody's left leg, delivering stomps and other impact moves. Rhodes fights back up, but a headlock is countered by Shelton, and Benjamin is in control again. Shelton catches a knee in the stomach, and then hits a bulldog from the corner, garnering a 2 count. Haas distracts Cody, and Shelton goes for a roll-up, but Cody rolls it back over and gets a surprise three count.

Haas and Benjamin hit the ring and start pounding Rhodes, but Hardcore Holly comes in a makes the save. The new team stands tall as the World's Greatest Tag Team make their way out of there.
Winner: Cody Rhodes

D.H. Smith v. Carlito

Carlito up early with a wristlock, but Smith counters, only to get kicked by Carlito. Shoulderblock by Smith, and a huge belly to belly by Smith. Carlito gets on the apron and hits a springboard dropkick, followed by a near-fall. In the corner, Carlito hits Smith HARD. Scoop-slam, and a 2 Count for Carlito. Carlito with a knee stretch to Smith's back, but Smith powers out, only to get caught with a hard clothesline, and a 2 count. Carlito pounds away on Smith, and lock in a headlock. Smith brings Carlito to the corner, gets out, and hits a few dropkicks and a northern lights suplex, but gets a 2 count. Carlito hits a back elbow off the second row, but only gets a two count. Carlito into the turnbuckle, and kicks up to get behind Smith, but gets caught. Smith hits a running powerslam for the win!
Winner: D.H. Smith

Umaga comes down to the ring, accompanied by Coach. He is supposed to take on Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle slides out from under the ring, looking rather reluctant to do this match with Umaga. This should be interesting. Coach keeps telling Hornswoggle to get in the ring. Hornswoggle jumps off the apron and runs up th ramp, as Coach and Umaga look on. Triple H's music hits, and the Game comes out to a huge pop. He makes his way to the ring, with Umaga looking ready. The two start to fight, throwing lefts and rights at each other. Triple H hits a Lou Thesz Press, and starts pounding Umaga. Referees hit the ring and try to pull the two apart, but the two keep fighting.

Brock Lesnar Joins UFC

brocklesnar.jpgHere comes the pain, UFC!

Brock Lesnar has signed a deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The 30-year-old former WWE star is eager to take the next step in his mixed martial arts career and is now expected to take on some of the best heavyweights in the world.

The announcement of the signing of Lesnar to a promotional contract was made by UFC President Dana White during the pay-per-view broadcast of UFC 77: Hostile Territory at the U.S. Bank Arena.

“I don't think there are any other pro wrestlers that can make the transition to MMA, except for Brock Lesnar,” White said. “And if you look at his amateur wrestling credentials, his size, and what he's done, this guy can end up being a force in the heavyweight division of the UFC.”
