WWE Releases Eugene

WWE announced last night that they it's releasing Smackdown superstar Eugene from his contract. Here is the official statement by the company:

WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Smackdown talent Eugene as of September 1. We wish Eugene the best in all future endeavors.
