Chris Benoit Diary Reveals Thoughts of Death
After the death of Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit plunged into depression.
So stated a diary by the former WWE superstar himself, one that Benoit's father's lawyer - Cary Ichter - recently made public.
Benoit's father, Michael Benoit, referred to the diary earlier this month, saying it was "written by someone who was extremely disturbed at the time."
While most the entries remain private, it is known that Chris wrote the following words soon after Eddie's death: "I will be with you soon."
"It showed that he was very depressed," Ichter said of the diary.

Kevin Sullivan did not kill Chris Benoit. Chris Benoit Killed himself, his wife and their son. He was seen swimming with his son after he killed his wife. Let it go. He's guilty. He will never get in the WWE Hall of Fame. NEVER.

I still don't believe Chris killed himself nor his family. I think it is wrong that everyone just continually disses him. They took everything on his wrestling career...action figures , t-shirts, posters, etc... off the market and out of stores. That is just plain wrong! He was a superb wrestler and made the WWE a lot of money. I still love him and I miss him terribly! Only God knows for sure just exactly what happened. He is the only one who when we die that we face for judgment. As humans, we should not judge, we should leave that up to our Creator. God Bless You Chris and his entire family. I will miss you forever!!!

Well, Benoit doesn't deserve to be in the Hall of Fame because it isn't right to honour someone who did what he did... despite all his contributions to the business.
However, he was an outstanding wrestler who gave 125% to whatever he did in the ring, and was a role model in that aspect. It makes me sad that he will be remembered nonetheless for how he chose to leave the world.
Real heroes need no hall of fame...
As for killing his wife and son, it was inexcusable, but maybe the wrestling business should look into some form of psychological support like counselling services to prevent anything similar from ever happening again... no one wants to see anyone go out like that, much less a major player in a business.
RIP Benoits - the ending was so wrong, but thanks so much for the other memories.

I believe Chris Benoit did kill himself and his family but like stated above that is no reason to completely erase him. It was a tragedy pure and simple. Death, depression, and guilt can do a lot to a person and sometimes people can't find any other option than death. Chris should be remembered not hated. People should not have to whisper about him to stop debates and arguements. Bad things happen to good people and just because a person does a bad thing doesn't mean he is a bad person. We should remember him for all he did, not just what he did.
