Press Conference Confirms Gory Chris Benoit Murder Details
Officials have confirmed the horrifying details in the deaths of Chris Benoit and his family.
A statement by a member of the Fayetteville Sheriff's Department read: "Mr, Benoit had sometime, possibly Friday, murdered his wife by asphyxiation. Sometime shortly after that, the same for his son Daniel and sometime later ... committed suicide by hanging himself in the basement area."
According to officials, Nancy was bound at the wrists and feet, with a towel wrapped around her body, and blood was found underneath her head. A Bible was also reportedly found near each one of the bodies.
Police have also confirmed that prescription drugs and steroids were found in the house.
Benoit was found hanging in a weight room in his house. Cops say that he used a cord from one of his workout machines as a makeshift noose. Authorities also believe that Benoit died on Saturday.

I have watched this man for a least 10 years. His friends say he was all about family. I think we should wait to see if they find out what the tox report says. The guys he worked with thought he was the best everybody can't be wrong. That type of behavior is hard to hide. We also haven't heard from Chris's parents or sister.

As new developments and information come to light, it is my assumption that he was depressed and completely broke down. Considering the timeline of the deaths and different locations of the bodies, it is apparent to me the murder-suicide was not all planned. Most people are acting like they were. Reports have shown there was no suicide note, but text messages sent to friends and neighbors were obviously his suicide notes. Why else would he send out messages of his physical address and that his dogs were locked away by the pool area, his wife and child were "sick", and the doors were open. It is a sad all around. You've got a woman and child that have been murdered and someone who was in a wrong state of mind commit suicide. On the other side of that, you a great wrestler who's career and legacy that will now forever be tarnished. Sad. Very sad.

It seems as though he was possesed or something.I mean okay he killed his wife.(To me he strangled her)And then he kills his son.(Which is just plain wrong!Why would he kill the poor kid?)Then he kills himself.Yeah of course it was a murder/suicide.But I mean after he kills his family then himself authorities say that he left bibles next to the bodies.That just seems to weird for me.

i think he was high when he did this. or maybe wwe told him he was going to lose that title match for the ECW. but still you would have to be sick if you are going to kill your own son after all the clips they show on tv the wrost one is when he and his son were so happy about his title win at wreslemaina 20. i mean what the hell is wrong with him.

Chris Benoit was a fantastic wrestler and well respected. I think the fact that he let no one get to know him and he never opened up to his closest friends hurt him like none other. I have read that he was supposed to win the ECW title (for the first time). I always respected Chris Benoit and I am completely taken back by these horrific events. I'm not entirely sure what to think.

Chris Benoit sucks the big one and anyone that tries to make this ok or reasons it out is also a Loser, there is no reason to do this even if it all happened in one minute but for it to have happened ove 2 days makes him even more of a sicko. He is a murder that planned out his actions and even burning in Hell is to good for his kind….he should be pissed on and buried face down…ROT IN HELL BENOIT YOU COWARD what a hero for you loser to look up to….

Chris went from HERO TO ZERO what a low life pile of crap he was …he was a true champion but now he is a murder and we can not put these assholes on the pedistal, It is time to show kids that thought he was a god that when they do things wrong they lose their hero statis, we can not horn these criminals and make light of what they do. Chris Benoit is a scum of the earth guy and Vince follows closely with him. this is the kind of stunt Vince would pull for the money he will use any one to make a buck even his own family. what happen to the days of good entertianment of wrestling like when Stu Hart ran and owned it he was truly for the fans not for himself like Vince. Chris and Vince are both useless piles of shit and deserve to rot in HELL.

Maybe McMahon can get this rolling where he can now use the story that he had cameras there and caught this all on tape. Will air it in the next wrestle mania, I am sure he can use it to benifit himself for cash like all other cheap things he has done. As for Chris to bad such a good wrestler was drove to this the stress that McMahon puts on these wrestlers is almost abuse and Vince should pay the price for all that have died well working for him. If this was any other industry it would be investigated how they are force in to roids and other drugs to carry on the show..We care more for animals in a rodeo. I think what has happened to Chris and his family is just another product of the WWE how many more have to die or kill themselfs before this is stopped. RIP Benoits

I don't really feel that there has been enough proof for me to believe that Chris would do anything like this and I feel that the law and everyone else is trying to find an escape goat for all this bs. There has been so much proof that there could have been someone else there. Lets face the fact there is no reason behind him harming his family and himself!!!!!!There is also the question of what happened to Sherry a couple of weeks prior to Benoit's death so let's not assume that he did this horrible thing!!!!!!!!
