Trish Stratus Interview: What's Next?
About.com has an interview up with former WWE Diva & Women's Champion Trish Stratus where she discusses the cancellation of Armed & Famous, her experience with the show and what is next for her career. Here are a few highlights:
On the cancellation of Armed & Famous:
"The death of Armed and Famous is courtesy of American Idol. We went up against American Idol and obviously, the numbers just weren't there. That's what they based the cancellation on, which is unfortunate. I find everybody really loved the show...I think it was just a numbers thing. We had four episodes that aired. We had two more to go, so at least we made it more than half way through."
On her experience with the show:
"It was amazing. It was an eye opening experience. I learned a lot about myself and my determination. We walked into an entirely new world that we didn't know how to tackle. It was really awesome to learn stuff and take all this new information and really conquer something different. Also, I really have a new respect for police officers, understanding even as a rookie what they go through. They have so many facets to their job."
What is next for her career:
"I retired from wrestling the middle of September last year. I got married at the end of September to my high school sweetheart. We waited basically for my whole wrestling career to be over with because I was on the road for seven years. And we finally got married and built a new house. We put off our honeymoon because we were moving.
We were just getting settled into our new life and our new home and I get a call to go to Muncie, Indiana. So I kind of spent my honeymoon in Muncie, without my husband. My priority right now is to enjoy my husband and then I'll come back and see what offers are on my desk and move forward with something really fun."

that's all good but you have to remeber that you are pretty young and had to go through alot to be where you are now can he ( your husband ) honestly can give up hus job or career to let you be the money maker in your family. do you think that you really want out on top of your game

Come back to raw plz the diva's r crazy without you there i mean look who the womens champion Melina out of all diva's it her and if you was there you would put Melina in her place and hold the belt for the 8th time and u would be the best womens champion ever you would be a lengendthe top women lengend in the wwe p.s. you r my fav wemen wrestler and it broke my heart when you left i almost lost it

plz trish come back to raw..... i cried when you left.... and plus raw is starting to get boring without you!! i mean look at all this drama with cena and orton. we need you! plz
