WWE News: The Marine Bombs at Box Office

Here's good news for John Cena fans: the superstar probably won't be leaving the ring for the big screen any time soon.

Here's bad news for the WWE: The Marine tanked at the box office over the weekend.

The movie came in a disappointing sixth place, pulling in just $7 million. The week of promotion, including appearances by Cena on shows such as Howard Stern and Conan O'Brien scarcely paid off.

In other WWE movie news, the first release by WWE films, See No Evil, staring Kane, should be released on DVD on November 28th, 2006.
